I do like Megadeth but I'm not a huge fan. That being said I have to give them credit because this live performance sounds as good as their produced studio version which is a challenge for most bands.

Gilitar he is a decent drummer at best. He was sufficient for the band, butI felt he was too robotic and played with no feel or emotion.

More thrash influenced then youthanasia as well which was more mid tempo metal.
There are actually better songs on the album, but Trust was the first one to make mainstream radio. It was also the first one that really turned me on to Megadeth, even though I had heard other songs from them.

I am 52 YO and am just now getting into Megadeth! Dave Mustaine is the F***ING Man. I own 5 Strats, 1 Tele and 1 Les Paul. I might go out and buy one of Dave's signature guitars. I am learning to play Trust on my Strat but would probably be better on a Dean Zero. I really like the Dean Deth We Trust guitar. Never been a big fan of the VEE guitars. They look nearly impossible to play sitting. If you don't play most players practice sitting down since you can easily get lost in the moment sometimes. I once sat to play for just a few minutes. When I realized it I had been at it for EIGHT hours.

Seeing old comments here, I agree Chris is a fantastic musician, wondering..what’s everyone think when they see Kiko rip these now? Lol. Been a fan since the first record, and I can honestly say (in my own opinion of course) that I enjoy Kiko’s interpretations of past solos the most, AND his written solos/parts are just especially exquisite. The man is an incredible talent, an a joy to watch/listen to. A gentleman as well. Mega Dave got it right w him big time!

This is A GREAT song. You can’t deny the metal brilliance of Mustaine. Though dumping Ellifson was not an example of his brilliance. I can understand his anger, but let it go; I hold grudges too sometimes especially when it’s someone close to you, and « trust » is involved. IF he didn’t fuck up and sellout Ellifson, the new band would be close glas good as the classic line up. You know who else fucked up, JR, and Freedman with those god forsaken haircuts.
