All beautiful tops and beautifully made. Tamlyn yours is my favourite . I could see my 25 yr old daughter in this. Thanks ladies for the tips, honest reviews and generally great vlog. ❤
All of your blouses turned out so lovely and look great. My favorite colorway is Rachel's since those are the colors I like to wear. They all look very summery and it's nice to see that you all are happy with them.
Love all your versions - just really interesting seeing different patterns in the same fabric but in different colour ways. I need to re-visit the staystitch blouse - thanks for the reminder but might wait until spring now! I think my favourite colour way is Ruans’! ❤
Wow loved your tops normally I’m a blue girl but I loved Ruans top think I may have to buy this pattern ❤and also the fabric! Copy cat 😂 Amazing as always ladies you all look fabulous ❤xxx
Love them all and such inspiration for those of us (cough, me, cough) who might have some double gauze lying around that they don’t know what to do with! Ruan - have had the M+M top printed for years now and I think you’ve given me the push to get it made up! So thank you!
I love all your double gauze makes, they suit you all! Tamlyn have you tried wearing a long sleeve fitted top underneath, so you can get more wear out of your top? that's what I've been doing with my saltwaters now that its got a bit colder ❤
My favourite colourway is Racheal's and the pattern I'd try first is Ruan's! You all know your styles so well so each colourway and each pattern look fabulous!
All three tops are beautiful, and I love all 3 colorways. Tamlyn, maybe you could style your top over a turtleneck for winter. I really love the pattern Rachel used. I may just have to make that one up. Where is it written that a 72 year old can't show a little skin? That's why I work out 5 days a week!
Three beautiful makes which suit you so well. I love double gauze. I try not to iron it as I love the crinkly look. A lovely video as always Sewl Sisters xx
Great video ladies. I was never drawn to sew with double gauze as it seemed very casual to me and I did not know how to pair the fabric with a pattern. That all changed when watching one of Ruan’s videos where she was wearing her Tilly & The Buttons Marnie top in the green double gauze with the cream dandelions. I fell in love with that top. I have now bought several pieces of double gauze to try, a little nervous since there seems to be a lot of comments out there that it is difficult to work with 😅. I’m looking forward to copying your Marnie top Ruan.
Hello, I personaly never wear dubble gauze as I find it messy, like linen, no way to have them look nice and tidy. But I loved seeing what you have sewn out of it. Concerning colours, green is generally not my favorite 😜Go on with sharing your makes, it is very interesting.
@nadine….you can get double gauze that doesn’t have the crinkles. I too dislike the messy look of the crinkly double gauze - it’s too “hippy-dippy” for my aesthetic. I sew with the Nani Iro double gauze which is flat and it looks slick and sophisticated, while being airy and cool. You DO need to iron it after washing, like any fabric, but it never crinkles up and doesn’t wrinkle excessively when wearing.
Ruan, you said people are nervous of sewing double gauze......I'm nervous of wearing it, it's that 'spongy' feel you describe, makes my skin crawl 😅 I still loved the video and all your makes 🥰
I am shocked about the mistakes in your pattern Rachel. I have found quite a few in indie patterns but not in commercial ones. Your makes are all lovely. Do any of you have a pattern in mind for one metre of double gauze.?For some reason I ordered 2 separate metres! I think I was being economical and wanted both which was a big mistake as I can’t use them. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you 😊
Love seeing all your different patterns and colour choices, they all look fabulous! 😍 Tamlyn you did make me giggle whipping your bra off 😂 now if I did that, I'm 36G it would be obscene,😮 so your choices aren't mine but I'm thinking that's a good thing! You do you! 😊
Gorgeous makes, ladies!!! Love the pattern choices and fabrics.❤❤❤❤
I love all 3 tops, they look great on all of you xx
I would like buttons on each side. It looks cute on you
Double gauze is great for nightwear. I live in Florida, so lightweight is ideal. I never thought of making outerwear. You’ve inspired me.,
Tamlyn, I love your color! Could you wear a t-shirt under it for spring and fall?
Lovely patterns. You all did a great job.🎉
All three of you chose colourways that suit you perfectly and all of your tops are lovely. Thanks, ladies for a fun sewl sisters video. Happy sewing!
All three are statement makes and are all beautiful, well done, ladies 😊
All of the shirts are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your lovely makes.
I really enjoyed this. Loved all your tops!
Three lovely tops ladies, thanks for sharing 🧶🌈🍓💙

Each colourway suits each of you so well ! 3 very different makes and 2 new to me pattern companies. Love double gauze !
Gorgeous- I do love double gauze, it’s so nice to see all the makes! I think my fav colour is definitely the blue. X

All the tops are gorgeous. Thanks, ladies, for sharing .
Ruan, you look lovely in your blouse. Your top looks just perfect on your slim body, Tamlyn. I like the blue colour best.
I love all your double gauze makes, they suit you all! Tamlyn have you tried wearing a long sleeve fitted top underneath, so you can get more wear out of your top? that's what I've been doing with my saltwaters now that its got a bit colder ❤

Love all your tops, love all the colour ways. Not a fan of double gauze, but all 3 tops are fantastic. Great blog as always.
Thanks so much!
For Tamlynn. You could wear a top under the top in cooler months to extend the wear of your garment
Great idea!!
I love your top Tamlyn - and the colour! I couldn't wear it now but it's totally something I would have worn in my 20s.
Love yours Tamlyn …all nice ..x
Beautiful makes! Love that fabric 👌😍
Hi Tamlyn, I kept thinking that your top would be cute over a high neck knit top for winter?
Thank you ladies for another interesting vlog. I love all of your makes, but I love Ruans colourway. xx
Thank you ☺️
Hi Tamlyn - I like your top, not for me, but looks lovely on you.
All the tops look great, and very different. ❤

3 beautiful tops! I want to make them all!

Hi Ruan - love your top Very nice and the colours suit you.
Love them all of COURSE. I have made the Malibu too and you look HOT in yours Rachel!
Hi Rachel - yours was also lovely. Really nice makes
Rachel, I love your colorway!

This made me giggle 🤭
Love them all but I may have to shamelessly copy Rachels!
Go for it!
I have a lovely double gauze but it is black, which is horrible on me. I will have to use it for a bottom, if I have enough.
Would make some lovely PJ bottoms with a lovely bright top 😊
Gorgeous makes girls as usual x

Maybe an Ogden Cami? 🤔

xXX👍👍👍
This video needs time stamps. What is your point?
There is too much waffling here..
If you don’t want waffling I suggest you look elsewhere 🤣🤣
