If you couldnt drive a manual, chances are you weren't driving, period. Those who know how to drive stick cant help but shake their heads when people have serious problems driving that platform considering it used to be the norm
Fun fact - The original Group A Japanese driver K. Hoshino wasn't sure about the capability of this car before the race, after test driving it he called the car a "monster" and "unbeatable". Also, due to the car's suspension setup, one of the car's front wheel is usually in the air when cornering.
One of the few videos where I can actually feel how fast this car is by watching it, I literally know every bolt in a R32 Skyline, that may add to it. What an incredible car this is!

Every time you post either of Nissan's famous GTR lineage,be it R35's or Skylines,you always pick the best specimen and this one is very special indeed.Dedication to build it like original Group A car is astonishing.Very fast and it eats corners like nothing without any aero.Driver is very impressive and handles the beast in spectacular fashion.Outside shots wonderfully capture it's speed and onboard is fantastic.Thanks for sharing this gem.

No, that would be a 1J and 2JZ, they addressed the faults that the RB26 had, shit oil pumps and oiling. 2JZ is one of the best engines in the World, a giant killer.

What a car/driver. On the edge with no more to go, if this had a little bit more aero it might go faster but them 2 1/2 tyres worth of grip it has when cornering (just look at the wheels it lifts in the corners) is what's stopping it from going harder. Some serious power, grip, driving skills all in an epic car... But you can see it can push any more, the grip in that rubber is incredible when you think of all that weight, power and sideways force... like this car wants to lift up and is, thanks to a stiff chassis awesome suspension set up and camber with grip grip grip for days.... No matter how old I get I will always be this excited over seeing things like this... engineering awesomeness and skilled driver... whoop whoop..
Its quite rare for me to get scared watching a guy drive a three two around a course. This guy is really bringing out the potential makes me quite nervous.
This car is not exactly the same version (Australian version was made with lots of custom racing parts from local fabricators I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) but the Aus. version sure did kick ass in the early 90s at Bathurst!

Nismo sent over JGCT-spec GTRs to the race teams in Australia but the cars were not appropriate for Bathurst and the high level of competition there, so the Aussie teams decided to custom fabricate parts for the GTR to suit Bathurst better.
If you're going to try and be funny, you should try to also be right. The Skyline is not, and never was a Datsun. Nissan pulled the Z over from Datsun and the Skyline over from Prince.
Seen this car IRL other year with Ric, never seen something move from a standstill to 5mph paddock speed so fast haha, and i'll never forget the line which i'm sure was "it'll do 1000hp but we've not got all the turbo's on, so only about 700..."

Quite often lowering a car forces the suspension geometry to a point where it is deteimental to the handling.
