I know that this post is 6 years old but I just want to share to you guys that I just bought my very first motorcycle (without prior experience of riding a motorcycle) and it is an ER6F. Friend(old owner) said that it is almost stock but the pipes are changed and its ECU flashed. All I can say is it is a very good beginner bike in my case. Some say it is on the heavier side and it definitely is. It has been a month since I got my bike and it is very responsive and easy to ride. The seating position is also great. More power to you, Sir!
@@valleyrider2282 Thank you! You ride safe, too! I got really shocked when I handled the bike for the first time because of its weight when stopped. But it is surprisingly light and very agile when I started riding it, even if I am just going around our place practicing at 20 kph.
@@sumoju3012 I am 181 cm and I have a lot of crotch room when standing over the bike. Knees and legs feel great when fully tucked. One thing I can say about this machine is it is really hot. Hot air blows directly to my right shin when I am sitting in traffic and riding fast.
I'd have been long gone on my Daytona 675. I've been contemplating on getting an ER6F to slow me down so I can enjoy the roads, trouble is I'd still be travelling too fast. At Daytona speeds I'd able able to stop, on yours I'd be in a hedge.
Yeah man I get what you mean, I have an s1000rr and I feel like it would be nice to have another bike to go slower on and enjoy a more casual ride. An ER6F is an ideal bike for that!
+Lance Flanagan I reckon you are making the right decision, it is a perfect first big bike. Got a great level of power, something you arent going to get bored of, but also not too much for a first bike.
fantastic! where is this place?!? I'm learning to drive the moto and i think to buy ER-6F. In italy there aren't so much of this. (sorry for my english) :)
Your English is fine! much better than my Italian probably :) This is all recorded in Wales, in the United Kingdom. And I would very much recommend the ER6F as a first bike, it has the perfect amount of power for a beginner
Do you mean fuel consumption? if so I'm averaging 56 miles per gallon,(which has gone down a lot since I got it) but I do thrash my bike all the time when I'm riding it.
it has the fuel meter, also one of the dashboard settings will replace the milage with the amount of miles you can do with your remaining fuel, by calculating your current miles to the gallon
+Camille Aubry If your asking about my gloves, they are Frank Thomas XTI 2. I would recommend them I think they are really good! Here is a link to them : www.frank-thomas.co.uk/index.php/collection/gloves/seg200-xti-2-long-sport-glove-black.html
+ValleyRider because the links you give me as I do not see the green and unfortunately as I have a green helmet and soon his green bike would do much better. does not make you for your translation , I google lol
www.frank-thomas.co.uk/index.php/seg200-xti-2-long-sport-glove-black-green.html That is the closest I could find, it has white on it as well though, but i think it still looks quite nice. Sorry I couldn't find the exact pair.
I ordered it restricted due to been on a2 licence but when I went to remove it I found out it was never actually restricted so win win just have to act naive if I ever get questioned seriously excited tho fitted a full Stainless exhaust and a custom made tail tidy plus indicators, on Instagram HSJR_projects

That's awesome! I found that bike so easy to ride, really made it effortless. You get used to the weight by the way! Ride safe man

Is your bike restricted ?
hazza123live Nope, it's full power
ValleyRider awesome I've just brought one and can't wait to get on it👍🏻
hazza123live It's an epic bike! I'm sure you will love it. is yours going to be restricted? Because mine was for a while but I took the restrictor off
I ordered it restricted due to been on a2 licence but when I went to remove it I found out it was never actually restricted so win win just have to act naive if I ever get questioned seriously excited tho fitted a full Stainless exhaust and a custom made tail tidy plus indicators, on Instagram HSJR_projects
hazza123live Haha no way! Yeah it becomes a much more enjoyable bike with a full system exhaust on it, take the baffle out too, it's so loud!
Fucking hell, you don't want to low side off the top of there
Moo Haha, I always think that when I ride up there
