    I’ve never jump rope but excited to try! Did not expect to laugh as hard as I did when I found this video. 😂😂😂

    Is there a video anywhere that actually shows how to literally start your jumping? I can't stop doing a huge leap over the rope. How do you actually start off spinning the rope to match your little tiny jumps?? I can't coordinate and get the rhythm happening 😬

    Hey! For the past 2 1/2 years the length of all my ropes has been at the top of the Golden Zone. This morning I took the risk of saying hello to the back of my head and tied a knot in my 4mm PVC rope. I expected a concussion but to my complete shock I did great! Shortening it polished my form, for sure. Now I realize my form might have been slowly getting lax, due to habits and stubbornness over time. Once again, Kyle, I really have to thank you for your wonderful videos!

      Love to hear this Tina! So glad you took the risk on going shorter. To many people are not doing it and one of the best things I ever did was to see how short I could get my rope. Just don't necessarily cut it at that length😝
      Funny enough, I don't recall ever hitting myself in the back of the head with a rope over my 12+ yrs....but maybe that's why!🤣 🤕🤣
      In all seriousness though, if it makes it under your feet then you should be ok!
      Good job taking on the risk and continuing to grow!!! You rock!💪🤙

      @@Jump15official Wow, thanks, Kyle! 😃 I’ve hit the back of my head many times because my hands tend to sink lower toward the ground than you demonstrate in the video. That’s something else I’ll thank you for showing in your videos - proper vertical hand placement. 👍🏻

    Great video. The bit about the rope length is spot on. I started with the rope at the longer length and it just sorted of splatted on the floor every rotation, the result being that your arms run wider to take up the slack. Over time it got shorter until it's at my ribs today, could probably lose a few more centimetres as well.

      Thanks bud!
      It's amazing how short you can make your rope over time with practice.
      I shot a rope shortening challenge video that I need to edit, but the results were surprising even to me.

    This is the way I jump too. You point it out, "Lots of people are using ropes way too long!"

    Oh I get it using more wrist rotations and focusing on the wrists saves tons of stamina instead of having to rely ob my arms allows one to not only jump rope longer but faster at the same time I am continuing to work on endurance and notice form issues I have sometimes one of my arms will drift further out or one will drift in I sometimes notice one hand is more stiff on the rotations so trying to ensure I work on those problems

    Thanks for the video. Watching video I’ve noticed that it’s my left arm. I guess it’s because it the least dominant arm. Im tripping with my left foot because my left arm is too wide apart from my body. I’ve tried to fix it being aware that it is the problem, but still tripping. I’m just beginning so I guess I need more practice and patience.

      It can take a little time to retrain your muscle memory to stay in a new position. Keep focusing on it and after a bit you'll probably realize you're not thinking about it anymore.🤙

    But should your arms be bent as my arms are long so the seem quite bent to get them to my hips.

    • @Jump15official
      @Jump15official  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you need to bend your arms then make sure your elbow is pointed backwards and not pinned into your sides. 👍
