There is no rope in your hands. It's all VFX! You're sending Hollywood level budget for TH-cam videos to create those flawless mesmerizing rope transitions. Also, unicorns are real and Santa clause is better than UPS and DHL combined. Just wow!!
I’ve been trying to learn how to do this for a year on and off during my skipping journey, and literally just hearing that you only need one rotation has made it so much easier 😂 I’m actually catching it now at the end of this 15 min video!! THANK YOU ❤🙌🏽🙌🏽
Lauren makes everything look so casual and effortless! I feel better knowing that it's not just me that thought the mic release was impossibly hard to learn lol
what I love is how Lauren just did her own thing and what she loves and hey look ... TH-cam sensation :) We need to encourage more people to just do what they love :)
That improv from Lauren at the end was a joy to behold. My jumping days are long gone but Lauren is such an ace at jumping and teaching I watch for fun. I've never seen a more fit woman than Lauren. The guy in the video was no slouch and L. broke it down so anyone could, at least, try it. Thanks for posting.
1. The video was fun and much respect to Lauren for blessing us with her knowledge 2. My handles are getting destroyed on this pavement every time I miss 😂
You were one of the first channels i watched when i started jump roping. I'd always tell people that my foundations in jumping were inspired by a lot of your moves. My PVC rope is the money rope as well! Soon after I started adopting other styles because i really wanted to do releases. I'd say im pretty good at them now but its great to see that the person who I looked up to trying it out and going through a learning curve. That being said, Lauren was right! you're really good for the first time! It took me a while to even get the rotation right let alone catch it. Keep practising it and it will become second nature just like all the other moves you do!
Thank you for the tips Lauren. I'm going to finally try the Mic release today. Thanks Rush for the video. Both of you have raised my jump game. 🙏🏾 Much love 💚
Rushie, just wanted to show some love to this kind of content. As a freestyle jumproper, I appreciate you learning from others. Would love to see more of this 🙋🏽
Years ago I worked with Bill Glass evangelism events inside prisons. I remember quite well Mr Glass telling the many prisoners in attendance this advice, "Get good at just one thing and it will feed you for the rest of your life". When I see Lauren's commitment to jump roping and how "good" she's become with it, I can see first hand, how true Glass' words are and ever shall be.
Sometimes we feel like somethings are really difficult to do and we are afraid to try it. But risking it all make as wonder how we manage to do it easily. 💪🏼 💪🏼 💪🏼
This is very good. I'm having my 70th Birthday with my daughters and granddaughters in Australia this October and I want to have a go at mastering this before then. I do basic skipping and have a number of ropes but none beaded. Where is the best place to get a beaded rope.
Fan bloody tastic. I am the 70 year old jump master. Once I get better, I may show you. May take a while as I have lung disease (Pulmonary Hypertension). xxx
Coach you nailed that!! I'm looking forward to seeing you mic with vinyl next🙏😊!! Learning these releases with my beloved moneyrope was challenging but now I've got the best of both worlds...speed & releases!!💛🖤💛
Hi Lauren, just 2 questions. 1. Why do you use a mat. 2. Can I buy handles separately as my handles are too heavy and I can’t get them airborne for the mic release., Love your vids by the way. Xxx
Yesss the mic release tutorial thank you Lauren and Rushie!!! Also when you caught the handle Rushie I audibly cheered for you loudly enough for my daughter to ask who I was talking to lol
Ive only just found her and its only gone an inspired me to take up the ropes again at 59, awesome routines too. Where do you get your ropes from or do you make them.
Loved this video! Took me about 2 years and I am still not great at catching it! Really enjoyed this video haha still catching tips! Great videos with Lauren!
Question. Is it “mick” release or “mike” release? If this move is to simulate the swinging of a microphone with a cable then shouldn’t it be called a “mike” release since the short pronunciation for microphone is “Mike” and not “mick”? Lol.

Fabulous tutorial Lauran. Do you guys live in the same county?
Yesss the mic release tutorial thank you Lauren and Rushie!!!
Also when you caught the handle Rushie I audibly cheered for you loudly enough for my daughter to ask who I was talking to lol
😂😂 legend bro!!
Am currently injured . can't wait to learn this .
Good work. I am curious as to why Jump ropers always pronounce the word Mic like Mick instead of Mic short for microphone. Am I being stupid?
Incredible the speed you learned it
Thank you very much for this rushi😍😍
I think its best to do both methods so you get more and more comfortable with the wrist pop and tissue move.
Amazing footwork!
⚡️💯
How to do these with a metal speeding rope?
Rushie!!! You are indeed a fast learner! 💪🏼💯🔥
Surprised myself 😂😂
boss it was nice seeing you learning the mic release.
Haha it finally happened 😂
@@RushAthleticsTV waiting for this for a long time
Bruh! I enjoyed every moment of this! Lauren is queen! Now imagining you practicing releases off camera. hmmmm 😁

You can find out ropes on our website or amazon 😀
@@RushAthleticsTV do you have the link pls
Lauren, I notice that you catch the rope in front of your handle. At what point in the cycle, do you reposition your hand on the handle?
super useful thanks
Thx for the tutorial!!

Wow you two are in the Great shape! Keep it up!😁
Let's learn this! 💪 Thank you 😍
Lauren is awesome 👌
Fantastic explanations ....thanks...
Glad it helped you 😀
I always hit my thighs when i start rotating the rope , what did i do wrong?
I've never heard Lauren's accent before! love it! And I've always been a Yankees fan.
And I get tangled up just trying to jump with my feet alternately... I'll probably never get past the standard jump....😪
Question. Is it “mick” release or “mike” release? If this move is to simulate the swinging of a microphone with a cable then shouldn’t it be called a “mike” release since the short pronunciation for microphone is “Mike” and not “mick”? Lol.
Wow! Just wow!
Lauren is so cool.
Is it possible to do it with the speed rope??
That was amazing
AAKA JUMP 这小肩膀是跳绳跳出来的吗 应该有做力量训练才行吧
