@@SiriasisOFFICIAL Also literally classical music. Check "Brahms Guitar" (what it's called in orchestral settings). Javier Reyes is a signed artist for Ortega (I'm one of the few who knew that logo); been wanting a signature model but they're way too much - I'll probably have to go for Rondo (who also has fanned fret/multiscale versions) when I finally get the rack space for another guitar.

The GTRS guitar seems like a great idea on paper that very few people will actually use. I don’t think most players want that stuff built into their guitar. They want to use the guitar they want and then worry about amps etc. the Tone X one with your guitar of choice seems a better way to go for a bare bones rig imo
I've recently gotten to play some nylon string guitars myself and i'm now a huge fan, planning to get one as soon as i can. those Ortegas are very nice, and that new Gtrs model is so clean, the effects don't sound bad either.
If you wanna see some more great playing on the 8 strings ortega, javier reyes played a beautiful piece on it some years ago. You can search it on youtube pretty easily
If you've never played nylon string before, you're going to be stuck on them for the next couple months before the novelty even begins to wear off. Every time I pick it up, it's like nice...then 3 hours later, zero fatigue and I've been riffing non stop lol so much fun.
I don’t know if you answered my question on live but what do you think is a good but cheap 8 string guitar I’ve been playing 7 strings for 4 years now and I want to expand
I highly recommend the Tour Player Nylon from Ortega. I got one and its amazing.. EDIT.. oh.. it was in the box.. Note for me: watch videos to the end before commenting
You probably already looked up this video but I've watched it probably 40x here and there. "Ortega Guitars Artist Javier Reyes performs "Suspiro" with his 8-String Classical Guitar" This guy also does 10 string and other string instruments. "Scottish Lute Music on 8-string Classical Guitar" This is a nice piece I just like. He does a lot of low voicings that sound really good; really exploits the extended range.
