i get it that you have your opinion but there are 10 more severly bad things about few of these games and you are pointing at something that most players do not care about .
@@miachelsanta When i make videos. I make them based on my thoughts and opinions. I do not cater to an audience. I hope you realise that. You may have entirely different dislikes from each game, but if I have different thoughts. Why would I talk about your dislikes when this channel is purely my thoughts. I hope you understand. Take for example, my favorite AC game is origins. Yours is probably something else. Does that make me wrong? No. Does it make you wrong? No. Everything is all about opinions.
@@miachelsantathe only thing I can think of that I didn’t agree with was ACR. Not because he was wrong, it’s just because Constantinople SUCKED. Made it hard to play the game for me
Since I'm an introvert, I did bond with Connor really well and I like him a lot. Perhaps not as much as Ezio, but I would put him in my top 5 characters. I also think the worst thing about brotherhood is that if you fail full synch, you must restart the whole mission. We must also note that Ubisoft Sofia (AC Rogue's developers) didn't make a main AC game before and had only 8 months to create AC Rogue.
Same, I’m also a reserved person so I understood why Connor was the way he was. And connected and liked him more than most. You see more of his personality and openness through the homestead missions also.
I did as well. Plus he's from a warrior society which gave him a different approach than most assassin's in the series. I like to compare him to Bayek who is also more of a warrior than an.assassin, but will protect those close to him. The Homestead missions really show this aspect of his character.
I was so frustrated with unity's story. The cinematic trailer made me think it would be about helping out the revolution and assassinating the templar nobles. They could even do a 180 where arno turns against the assassins during the reign of terror.
@@chrismoore5333 very insightful. I heard a while back that desmond had some kind of personality problem after the all the animus time in AC1 and 2. Like how he made the Altair joke when he saw his statue in brotherhood
Of all the game AC4 is the only one where I found myself mostly bored with the story and checking out of it. Besides a few scenes here and there not much is memorable. The trailer made me think it was also going to bring back assassin recruits in some way, like Arno was going to work his way up the ran and maybe recruit allied assassin's to the revolution and more,, but if you're a single player gamer like me you're pretty much screwed. Instead you mostly get a love story and the revolution is primarily in the background. Ac Brotherhood did the love story better with the side missions related to it, being both tragic and compelling enough not to overshadow the overall conflict of the story.
I think Claudia would've been good to have in AC: Revelations. She could've been their at the start of every sequence talking with Ezio about what he intended to do. Instead of writing letters to her. Letters that could've been easily intercepted.
I think One of the thing they Could have done In Syndicate is that they could also rebuilt the Brotherhood in London. Gang members only used by Jacob, Assassins only locked to Evie.
That's what I thought was going to happen because in the beginning I got the sense that Jacob was more of an unorthodox assassin who would utilize gangs like Acheiles did in Rogue and Evie would be the more traditional code following assassins who would take a more stealth and undercover approach. It would have been cool if Jacob used gang members and Evie recruited and used assassin's. Would have added more to the game.
I know this was posted a while ago, but I really wanted to add something. About Assassin's Creed 3 and Connors story, I fully understand your view point on him. And him being nothing like Ezio, but Connor is a character who suffered a terrible experience and most likely had some kind of child hood trauma (But which assassin doesn't have that?) Connor wanted justice and maybe he was dull or maybe even selfish or naive but then again he was still young and never really knew a way to go about things. Connor is entirely a character seen with a introverted and philosophical personally, which he is but is also a person with heart even expressing discomfort after killing William Johnson. He wanted to believe in the Templars and Assassins working together even if it was impossible. We do get to understand Connor more as a person in the homestead mission which really show what Connor is really like outside of battle and away from everything, we can see him be funny, shy, happy, humble, worried and all of the above. It's kinda like when you enter a classroom and your friend isn't there so you become quiet and don't say much,, but when they are there it's a total change up. Connor reminds me of Charles Smith from Red Dead Redemption 2 with their personally. Connor can be dull but it's more of a cover up to how he really is. This probably makes no sense but thats my take anyway Bye!
Dude, i wish I could give you a fat kiss, this is exactly what I love Connor for, silent but strong, kind but just, closed but intelligent, shy but courageous, harsh but fair, the homestead missions always made me feel as if I was doing something for the good of the people and the future. Even though he wasn't as open and charming as Ezio or the other Kenways, he has his own charm.
He also comes from a warrioresque society as well, being trained from a young age on how to survive in rough circumstances on top of wanting to protect his people.
Yeah considering connor was assaulted by Charles lee and choked against a tree for minutes and having to deal with his mother quite literally burning alive all while he was a kid id imagine he wouldn't be the most open. Im curious if you even touched the homestead missions connor shows alot of appreciation and emotion for the people he met its a whole new side. It should be quite mandatory for people to do the homestead missions before judging him
I'm a Connor defender, he's probably got the drippiest default robes in the whole franchise and his fighting style with the tomahawk is iconic. He's not the charismatic ladies man like Ezio was, he's much more introverted and thoughtful. His arguments with Achilles over action vs inaction, and his interactions with Haytham and the other Templars were the deepest we've seen the protagonist or the games themselves actually discuss the ideologies of the two factions.
I have to disagree with Eivor despite him not being an assassin I still liked him as a protagonist and plus in ac lore he’s actually quite important being responsible for the founding of the Templar order after making Alfred the great sort of resign
What was added to AC1 after the kids comment was the collectable flags. The investigations and, to a lesser extent, citizen saving were part of the main story.
The thing about AC Unity is that they wanted to portray Arnos life as a kid to as an adult, making you feel the sadness as your character feels those emotions aswell. That’s why they didn’t focus on the French Revolution
imo unitys story is pretty good i like it, My problem with unity is the muskets and flintlocks, There is no counter other than a weird unpredictable rolling system that doesnt work half the time, Wouldve preferred the system from ac3 where you can use a guard as a bullet shield.
For me in Origins the level scaling is so bad! Like you have to get to level 10 just to meet Aya in Alexandria and also side missions give a lot less exp so you have to waste hours just to get on a certain level.
My biggest problem with Odyssey and Valhalla, is that they have "Assassin's Creed" in the name. How do you make a game called "Origins" and a year later release a game that predates "Origins" by 400 years? Or release an "Assassin's Creed" where the not-so-hidden blade is just given away freely to someone who simply refuses to join the Hidden Ones
Ac3 worst part is that viewpoints dont unlock the whole map, you still have to run around to show the entire map. Only game with this for a good reason
@@waleedfarooqi5998Not at all. The only reason for you to run around the whole map in the games before it is to find collectibles. Viewpoints unlock the view of all the relevant/accessible parts of the map, nothing less.
What killed Odyssey for me was being unable to turn off the Enemy Auto Level. I'm not a serious gamer. I play to have fun and lose myself in these worlds. I don't want to spend hours trying to kill some boss and constantly get killed. I usually get about 5 levels above and then have a better chance of killing a boss and getting back to the game.
You can turn it off when was the last time you played? Because i am re playing Odyssey right now and you can change it from high, medium, and low. Low makes it so enemies can be up to 4 levels below yours. And high makes it so enemies are like 4 levels above you.
I’ve been playing through all Assassin Creed games since the end of December. I started with Valhalla for whatever reason but then went in order of release. I’m on Origins now and though I’m nearing the end it’s been a blast going through all of them back to back!!
I always loved ACIII, everyone was hating on it for being a "potato selling simulator" but what I liked about it is that Connor could be a focused assassin that rushes through the main story, a sensitive, yet couragous man that cared about the manor and wanted to expand the settlement near it, a naval devil that conquered the waves, or a treasure hunter. I also loved that you could be either a lone wolf, or grow yourself some other Assassins by your side to match the Squad Haytham gathered. I loved that the scen when connor is about to be executed changes depending on how many Assassins connor gathered alongside him. love this game forever!
To be honest I really liked Valhalla...yes the story and the game in general was so big but the grind felt so good with a variety of side missions, the characters were good in my opinion...the only thing that I didn't like was the ending but other than that it was a very good game with good stealth mechanics and good combat
I think Connor got a bad wrap. We had three games with a character from birth to his death. He was a funny playboy to start and we watched him grow. Connor had a much different upbringing with watching almost his entire tribe (including his mother) die. That's quite a bit different from Ezio. So of course Connor would have a totally separate attitude. People seemed to me to want more of the same which they did not get. I found Connor to be a step in the right direction. Change is a good thing. The only thing I didn't like was the first few hours with Hytham. He just bored the hell out of me.
I think the reason the story of Unity just suffered (besides the problems that break immersion like bugs) was because in the books, the main character is Elise ( note: her story wasnt gold like Edwards but it helps flesh her out atleast) but since rogue didnt do well perhaps they didnt think people were interested in playing as templars at all, so instead opted to write it from Arnos perspective but hes not given much to do in the books other than what you see in the games.
That can’t be it unity and rogue released the same day. So maybe ACU ´s story failed cuz Elise was the main character but the reason they chose not to center it on her isn’t rogue
Shay's relevance was dropped, the whole conflict of cooperating with templars vs antagonizing them to the bitter end kinda got speedran with the Belec issue, the romance sorta gets no resolution...the whole story of Unity felt like they had to rush it out the door like they had to with the gameplay. And yeah, as the other guy said Unity and Rogue were released together to take advantage of next gen hype (because having a functional game wouldn't be better apparently?) so it ain't that issue.
@@natchu96 im aware of the whole next gen part as well yes as well as the other problems suffered by both Rogue's and Unity's development, i just figured id add some new useful information with it as another reason why the story wasnt good since they had nothing to work with, as thats a point ive never seen anyone make either
I don’t think Elise would have been the most compelling character to be during the time period. The French Revolution was very much a revolution led by men, and access/involvement to various events would have been hindered or forced.
@@chrismoore5333 Spoken like someone who clearly don't know wtf you're talking about and obviously never even read them. lmao Ezio literally mentioned Altair's journal from The Secret Crusade novel that he read before he reached Constantinople. Connor literally read Haytham's journal from Forsaken novel which was how he learned about his grandfather being an assassin. Arno also mentioned to have read Elise's diary from the Unity novel in Dead Kings. Bayek's backstory pretty much established in Desert Oath novel and led into the game's intro.
Happy to see players showing love for Origins as there was too much hate on it (in my country specially) but I loved it and would go for Platinum again if there was option
I don't like enemy levels in the later games. I love Syndicate but the enemies are damage sponges. Plus it's a better power fantasy when Edward and Connor can solo armies when needed
I disagree, the more exaggerated and cool animations in Syndicate give a more power fantasy vibe to me It's like a dialed up version of the arkham combat that the games were mimicking and I love it
While I agree with most of these I honestly thought that the keyboard & mouse control scheme of the Ezio games (plus AC1) was really good, so much so that I often rebind the keys of the later games (minus the RPG games) to mimic the older ones
Completely agree, RMB to high profile makes SO much easier to control parkour(since the system depends A LOT on camera angles and directional inputs), the only change i make really is the interact/empty hands/(and later)parkour down from 'e' to a side mouse button.
I started with black flag as my first game, so when I started playing AC1 I was confused, but then it clicked and it made a lot of sense, while I do not prefer one over the other I enjoy playing either form of control settings
I find it funny that people specifically hate those controls on KBM lol, controllers were way worse xD I'd much rather have them put a counterintuitive "LT to jump, RT + LT to free run" than having jumping on A/X and being unable to turn the camera in most situations. Especially now that I'm replaying all the games, finished with Ezio collection on ps a few days ago and that difference in controls in AC3 is practically immeasurable, I just love how easy it feels even with a controller to just run around and look cool and have full camera control on top of that
I think you couldn't have historical figures like Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli or Bartolomeo d'Alviano in Revelations because of historical accuracy. That leaves Claudia, La Volpe and Ezio's mom. As for Claudia, she's at least mentioned. And Volpe and Ezio's mom would've been quite old at that point in time, so they're probably dead
I not agree with Unity. I think one of the problems with AC3 is that the story centers too much in the american revolution. Is a game about the revolution with an Assassin, not a game about an Assassin in the american revolution. That is one of the reasons Connor failed as a protagonist, he was not the important thing in the story, the revolution was. Unity do that thing perfectly in my opinion, is the story of an assassin in the french revolution, the time period is relevant in the story but the game centers in Arno. Not liking the story is a completely valid opinion, but wanting that the story centered more in the revolution story for me is a mistake.
I kinda suprise about your take on Syndicate, yeah i see all your point, but for some reason I focus on take over all london first before actually progress in the main story. So maybe I like that system more
I really like Connor, his focused and serious personality fits the assassin theme way better, that's why he is one of my favorite characters besides Altair. Ezio is just overrated
Ezio has the advantage of multiple games to develop him more fully as a character. I would’ve liked at least one more game with Connor to see him continue maturing and developing the Assassin order in America further.
I got bored with Unity. But decided to give it a try in the first place because people were telling me it had a good story and good parkour. But i found the story and france to be boring as hell and depressing honestly. I played Syndicate and honestly my favourite thing about it was in the Jack the ripper dlc, short as it was. But you're on point, that game was repetitive as hell. My problem with Brotherhood however, despite being one of my favourite, is how that is when the series started to get really easy with its combat. You felt like a master Assassin sure, but there was no challenge anymore. Same with revelations, but that one just felt so off. I didn't like Constantinople, and i hated how they just jumped ahead so many years, having Ezio just leave Italy behind all of a sudden. Rogue had an amazing story in my opinion, but gameplay wise it did mostly feel like Black Flag, except that now you kill Assassin's instead and some can ambush you. I loved seeing more of Haytham, but Shay felt like i character i could connect to, as i've been ostracized and treated poorly in the past for pointing out how wrong some peoples behaviors are in places like a martial arts club where there often is an arrogant cult like mentality going on. The last one i've played was Odyssey. It's a fun game if you ignore the historical inaccuracies, and how ridiculous the powers you can get are. But it took me about 20 hours or so to actually enjoy the story and gameplay. A game should never be like that.
Wait, what's wrong with AC2 control on pc? The right mouse button for running pretty much the perfect placement because you can both control the camera and run at the same time
For unity my problem with it would be how buggy and uncontrollable the parkour feels at times. It has the best looking parkour but probably not one of the best controls for the parkour.
i'm not asking you to "git gud" but the parkour in the game can actually be really smooth IF you are good at it believe me, i absolutely despised the parkour when i first played the game and i thought it was buggy and unresponsive after a few hours in the game i got used to the controls and liked the parkour very much
@@Sh0ckVthat's nonsense. Even best youtubers who are great at Unity keep pointing out that the parkour in it is broken and they found loopholes to make it work like 30% of time.
I at first didn't like the default control scheme on PC for AC either usin right mouse for HP but i got used to it and it actually feels pretty nice and makes sense to me. I feel like the reason they made this decision is because they didn't want to clog the keyboard with too many inputs the puppeteer system is complex with many different actions and u can alter ur profile to have even more options so having it all on the keyboard might end up cumbersome so they moveed armed hand and high profile to the mouse imagine if instead of on the mouse u had to hold a button on the keyboard to be in HP while also having to press many different inputs at the same time on the keyboard. try it yourself rebind the controls and set HP to something on the keyboard anything and see how it feels to hold that to HP run while pressing other buttons to do high profile inputs... it just doesn't feel good and the RMB for HP ends up feeling quite logical. This video is just mainly about AC Unity but it really applies to each AC: th-cam.com/video/lTOqjjad6t4/w-d-xo.html you may think "ya ok i get u but what about just having HP as a toggle? that would surely make it easier to manage right?" for some maybe it would as its really preference but for me its not easier. that was actually an option in the menus of AC1 and when i used it to see what it was like it ended up feeling very cumbersome and harder to precise than having it as a hold input that way u can hold it and slightly or fully release and have that direct sense of analog control. A valid critique of the PC controls scheme is how the whole high profile thing is designed around controllers and being able to have a trigger that can be lightly or fully pressed down allowing a very strong sense of manual control over u being in hp and the different ways holding down the trigger can affect it if u want just a quick little jog and then slow back down to walk speed u only have to lightly press the trigger and release and it happens so seamlessly with toggle u have to press it down then u are in the HP state then u do ur inputs and movements then u have to press it again it's very binary u either are in it or not similarly to how with HP on mouse u don't have the ability to as smoothly shift in and out of HP
another issue with kbm controls for AC is the consistent mouse accel u can't turn off that started with AC2 and was also in Brotherhood and Revelations. AC1 didn't have this problem the mouse input felt nice in that game but in the Ezio trilogy its noticeable with its mouse accel and u just have to get used to it unless there's a fix i dont know abt
I do not understand the AC2 bad controlls. Honestly Ezio trilogy felt the most finished in terms of "I want to go there and character does what i ask him to do". Right mouse button for sprint is weird, but it was like that since AC1 and AC2 did not reinvent the wheel in here. What i hate about it is aiming of the gun or knives. I can understand why ezio stops, but using this weird animus laser and it automatically locking on target is meh.
Honestly in 2023 unity my only issues is the fact uplay does not work on it anymore and on top of that their is still a bug where sometimes ur character won't even swing his weapon and will just stare at ur enemy and die
My biggest beef with AC2 is that the game doesn't really emphasize how much time is passing. For example, Ezio trains with Mario for two years before attempting to leave for Spain (then changing his mind to help Mario instead.)
I can fully agree with you regarding Unity. Ubisoft had great potential to make a great game during the French Revolution, but the storyline was just hopeless. Instead of focusing on the Revolution or the fight against the Templars, Arno was chasing a girl who, in addition, was the daughter of a Templar. For me, the plot based on a love story was terrible. Having seen the Unity teaser myself, I thought the French Revolution would be the 'theme' of the game, but as you can see it became just a background.
I actually thought that Arno's relationship with Elise was the only believable thing in the story. Everything else was really forgettable with no memorable characters other than maybe Bellec and Napoleon. And both were severely underutilized with barely any screen time.
The gang territories in Syndicate are easy if you play the side quests in the right order. If you do all the races and fight clubs first you can level up your character sufficiently. If you replay the fight clubs and work your way up to level 10, the gang territories are a breeze. If you keep replaying the highest fight club, every two play throughs gets you enough xp to unlock another skill. Until you have fully upgraded assassins and gang upgrades minus the ones you have to unlock through the story.
And doing all this is boring as hell. Nobody wants to repeat the same side-quest of kidnapping a dude or freeing the children 15 times so they dont need 8 headshots to kill someone.
It’s no different than all the other games, even the first Assassin’s Creed had the pickpocket missions, or the eavesdrop/interrogation missions. If you don’t like repetitive missions, you’re in the wrong franchise buddy.
@@dustinpahel5950 It's different m8 because the other Assassin’s Credd (prior to Unity) don't have levels beyond the improvement of weapons/armor, then you didn't need to spend 5 min beating the bullet sponge character because you didn't sabotage all the factories in London before. Like, in AssCred 4 you could finish the whole game without even bothering to grind to upgrade your ship. Or in AssCred 3 you can finish the game with your starting weapons without much problem. But in Syndicate if you don't roast your ass in the chair farming materials and xp you get fucked in the missions because the characters are level 9 and you are 3. The game has about 10 hours of history and 30 hours of repetition of the same territory missions. The franchise's games became successively more grind and repetitive. But rest assured, I noticed I was staying in the wrong franchise and dropped 2 games ago.
I feel like them letting you play as Haytham and then Conner is to show you the stark contrast between them, we see why conner goes from a happy kid to a reserved adult, trauma, his village is burned down, mother killed, and all by the group his father is with. Now this is all my speculation as Conner is my 2nd favorite assassin right after my boy Edward
My thing with Valhalla is the drinking game and the board game to where you had to do them to advance the story. My thing with mini games is that they should be for Trophies/Achievements, get special outfits, items or weapons. Origins I didn't like being hunted by phylake, nor that I needed a stealth bow for stealth kills from long distances.
Well about conner I don’t think it’s really fair to compare them to Ezio had a trilogy All to himself and about Connor not being as charming Connor lost his village and young age and was betrayed multiple times I don’t think he would be charming like Ezio and The only reason they made heyfrom likable what is the strengthen the message that there is no good guys
My comparison is based on going from one to the other. It's the only character I can compare Connor too because he's the next up in the series. Ubisoft set the bar with Ezio very high and the next one after was underwhelming (IMO)
AC1 - repetiveness AC2 - not able to replay missions ACB - fractions challenges ACV - innovation AC3 - main character AC4 - tail missions ACR - too short ACU - story ACS - parkour (too easy) ACO - side missions ACO - too many quests ACV - characters
I feel the absence of familiar faces in Revelations works in the plot's favor. His sister and Machiavelli are the only ones within the Brotherhood that we know for a fact are still around, and even Leonardo was historically living in France at this point. It really underlines how solitary Ezio feels, having been walking the path of an Assassin for so long that there's not really anyone left but him. It makes his ultimate decision to retire even more understandable.
The one thing they could’ve done with Unity to’ve made it a better story: include Shay and make the FINAL boss fight mission: Shay vs. Arno with Arno happily saying to Shay: “I make my own luck too and THIS is what you get for killing my father!!!” (*Proceeds to insert the hidden blade into Shay’s throat*) and then, the WHOLE time, Elyse is watching without Arno knowing she’s there and then she says something to him as he takes the hidden blade out of Shay’s throat and she says: “Arno, you did it!!!!” And then they embrace and the scene cuts to a final cutscene like the original story where the actor that voices Arno has a monologue, but in a more satisfying way!!!
I like Connor Connor lost his mother. He has the right to not trust anyone. And even if Charles Lee did not burn his village Lee treated Connor like trash, innocent child just playing games with his friends. Connor would be a better man if he didn't have Achilles around. To me Achilles was the worst character People dislike Connor because they had 3 games with Ezio so they loved him like he was a real person Odyssey isn't even a assassin or hidden one game it's just spartan So I don't get why it even exists Kenway saga will always be my favorite And I want yo say your making great videos
The one thing I hate about Valhalla is the overuse of puzzle. For example boss chest/boss drop item, in any other game they will present to you right after you defeat the boss of just drop it. For some godly reason, ubisoft decide to lock it away and we have to figure out how to get into the boss chest after we figure out how to defeat the boss. Second example one of the view point, on any other AC game you just climb up then activate view point. For some holy reason ubisoft think they need to lock the view point (not all), then we have to figure out how to get in, turns out we have to find a cave. Puzzle is good, but I don't want puzzle on every single thing. You want a piece of armor? Find it inside locked church. Hoho still not found it yet? It is above you, you need to find a way up there. What? Can't take it yet? Well didn't we mention you have to find a key from a guard? Good luck! About tanky enemy on RPG AC, I think I like it. Because I have to figure out a way to take them out without alerting the other, or just let the tank live without them realizing their friends were killed.
Hot take but imo only reason Ezio is as loved and most people’s favourite assassin is cause he has 3 games and we saw him develop throughout his entire life don’t get me wrong I still love him but give any other assassin ( especially Arno or Connor) a trilogy where we can see their development and they’d be just as iconic and popular if not more
more games = more connection, if edward had a trilogy he'd be my favorite because im pretty sure after 3 games we'd know so much more about him and connect more
@@TheHiddenOne690 exactly my point yeah there’s definitely better characters that aren’t as appreciated because we don’t get as much time with them, an Edward trilogy would be amazing same as a connor trilogy to really flesh his character out and watch him rebuild the colonial brotherhood, can only hope maybe one day we’ll get sequels for some very deserving assassins 🤞
Aspasia being the ghost really surprised me. I thought it was a great reveal. I had remembered the note about the ghost being part of orchestrating Perikles' death and that itself was clear it was her. This was only after I found out it was her. I think it was really smart. She is very manipulative and lies all the time. She is a great leader for the cult because of how great she is at manipulating everything and everyone, except for Deimois, who did a considerable more than her as he began to turn the cult members against her.
I never had any issues with the controls of AC1 to AC Revelations, I even switched controls around in AC3 and Black Flag to make them feel like the original AC. While AC Unity's parkour is superb, I find the movement in that game to be super clunkly and still buggy even to this day, it's as if my keyboard was faulty.
The whole Cult of Kosmos thing was a huge letdown, compared to the Order of Ancients from Origins. The Ancients were each unique characters with entire chapters dedicated to taking them down and they actually felt important when you encountered them. Most of the cultists are randos that you can just track down and unceremoniously kill. They aren't even characters, they're just hostile NPCs. And I could have accepted that if the Sages of the Cult were treated more like the Order of Ancients, but out of the 8 of them, 5 were given the same NPC treatment. That just made taking down the cult that much less rewarding for me. And I agree about Aspasia. They really could've done better at hiding who she was, or gone with a different character altogether. While ridiculous at first, I actually think Markos would have been an interesting twist lmao
I have played AC, AC2, Syndicate and Origins and I really enjoyed how the franchise evolved. About syndicate, I partly understand your comment about repetitive gang missions, however seeing your gameplay, I get why. As for me, taking over the boroughs was quite brilliant as I would enjoy stalking the target from roof tops and use the hallucinogen darts and thin the herd. IT was fun for me. On origins, its surprising many like Aya, but to me she was responsible for the change that Bayek had to go through and I dislike her for that. The VA who delivered the last dialogue for bayek during the last vanilla mission, the pain for the loss of his son, and the dissolution of his family, it was so heart breaking. But Aya was just meh.
Assassins Creed 2's time frame in my opinion was needlessly elongated with weird timeskips which didn't even make sense. It was very frustrating to think about why 2 years or 5 years passed for no reason. The weirdest one in my opinion is when Ezio waits 9 years to come back to Florence and take back the apple....like why, it never made sense to me
Pretty solid video. I remember my biggest criticism about origins was how fast weapons and armor became under leveled and how expensive it was to level them up to your level. It made them become useless pretty quick
I feel pretty much the same about odyssey, even tho I love that game and the variety of armor looks (Which I feel that misses on Valhalla, even tho it has the tattoos and different haircuts, the armors kinda feel the same and I really care about customization) Anyways, I love the rpgs much better then the classics, even tho ezio's saga is 10/10
To me, Unity was the first game where it seemed that Ubisoft put more effort into side content than in the main story. I haven't played Odessy and Valhalla and I'm dreading the thought of playing them after having played and beaten Origins. There are so many side activities in Origins that I forgot most of the main plot, who is who, who did what, who is a friend, and who is a foe. And seeing what people talk about Odessy and Valhalla, I don't see myself playing those when I got bored playing Origins.
For me, black flags tailing missions werent a burden For me they were a positive and logical quests, since you try to pry out the information on templar/assasin ordeal, since you are an outsider. These missions let you explore routes to parkour through city or even maneuver on ship in one of the best missions imo. Its fun to see routes to parkour, while keeping track on your targets (i try this without eagle vision, because otherwise its too easy) For me ACTUALLY the worst part"S" are those islands with NOT ONLY chests and animus fragments, needed to unlock cheats, but also LETTERS AND MAPS NEEDED FOR LORE AND UPGRADES. Like... THERE IS NO WAY TO BOARD A SHIP NEAR, SO YOU HAVE TO SWIM AWKWARDLY... And you have to look out for islands, because they are not marked on your map... Its time consuming and actually painful. Oh... Ohohoh... And the worst of ubisoft are of course the blood and sweat the MANAGMENT and BUISNESS teams "put" into these games- the laziest DLC's known to humankind. They are not only sad, but also embarasing INCLUDING Evelyne for how short and underdeveloped it is and Adewale for how just short it is.
Each besides the one, showing all collectibles- feels like a rip-off alongside for... I dunno, buying the power lily in pvz 2 with real money, when you can get a powerup by spending 1000 ingame coins (which are easy to get)
for ac2, there’s that one crypt where you gotta wall run to finish it. i play on console and that feels damn near impossible, i only beat it by pure luck
Ac1: slow climbing Ac2 : kinda long Ac Brotherhood : stuck in 1 city (Didn't play rev) Ac3 : the combat sometimes is just so tedious and slow and you can't do shit to certain enemies Ac4 : The naval combat missions are hard af (Didn't play rouge) Ac Unity : cant dodge bullets Ac Syndicate : slow combat+ not enough side content Ac Origins : the fact that you can't defeat certain enemies if you're in a low level Ac Odyssey : almost everything but mainly the amount of grinding you need to do and how long it is like it took me 3 or 4 hours to get to level 12 in Origins and to get to level 12 in Odessey I grinded for 8 hours through random encounters with enemies 3 levels above me that took me an hour and a half to beat and the side missions that are just plain boring (Didn't play Valhalla)
I'm very happy to see I'm not the only one who had a problem with the extremely buggy controls on AC2. I thought maybe bc it was the first AC game I ever played, or bc I was playing on a handheld console. I can't count how many times I wanted to sync a view point and make a leap of faith off the top of a building, only for ezio to jump off to the left and die
so the right mouse button was used as a default for running in ac 1 as well cause back in the days on some of the keyboards u could use only like 2 keys at the same time which could be annoying cause u couldn't like hold shift + w + d to turn right a little bit
ACI: im gonna be honest, i got so used to Unity and post Unity mechanics that it would be really hard to be good at this game, especially given the already moderate pacing and copy pasted side content. it would be like chess and im bad at chess ACII: lack of stealth tools and mechanics, i guess? besides, some story elements and plot holes AC Brotherhood: rushed ending, the story is a bit bombastic AC Revelations: animus stuff, setting is wasted potential, also lack of side content ACIII: ending, pacing mid-game, also setting seems a bit liveless ACIV: tailing missions AC Rogue: wasted potential - undeveloped themes, copy pasted assassin mechanics instead of ones more suitable for a templar AC Unity: broken mechanics, faulty detection system and other game breaking stuff AC Syndicate: the slapstick and infantile vibe AC Origins: grinding, rushed ending
1:55 Did you ever play Mass Effect 3 on PC? The controls for that game were even worse when you put multiple actions on a single key, this time the spacebar. It made you run, it made you go into cover, it made you jump over obstacles, it made you roll off, it makes you interact with certain points. I surely forgot some actions but this was gruesome and I dont know how I could handle it back then. ^^ Anyways, that makes AC2 look good against that.
@@TheHiddenOne690 it somehow didnt frustrate me back then but I remember I was frequently annoyed by it. ^^ This absolutely was the cause I lost some multiplayer games. :D
It’s funny, I used to play AC1 on a desktop using the keyboard and mousepad but the AC2 disk never worked. Was the AC2 layout for computer the same as AC1?
Ac2 with brotherhoods controls and ability to have a side arm would be one of the best games ever... For ac3 my 2 issues is how long it is until the true game starts and how many listening to conversations sections there were. Black flag, the ship stealth mission that has ended both attempts I have made to play it... before giving up and just doing open world stuff / playing rogue.
A lot of story tailing missions in black flag are actually well made, the real problem is there’s too many of them, like everyone wanted to make a great story but there wasn’t that many ideas or that much time to make good mission variety for a pirate game. Tailing missions aren’t all bad there were just too many in 4
Ezio was raised as a Italian noble who had a perfect childhood, giving him a happy and charming personality, then there’s Connor who grew up as a native (racism was common) and obviously his village got burned down, lost his mother and didn’t know his father. See what I mean? Obviously he isn’t gonna be a barrel of laughs; neitbejr was Altair
One thing I disliked about Origins, is how incompatible the way they made the story is with how it's an opened world. I explored the world through and through, and ended up killing some big enemies at random moments, because I was attacking a spot that was part of the story, without knowing it lol. I remember particularly circling around Siwa at the beginning of the game, and killing the "main enemy" at Siwa just jumping from a roof, thinking I was assassinating some random guard. They fixed it on Odyssey, that much was clear when exploring, you wouldn't stumble upon a member of the Order just like that, which at least drove the story more clearly. If I were to find a complain about Odyssey, would be how some perks made the game too easy, like assassination "en masse" literally teleporting. Seems that Mirage will have a similar one, which is worrying to me because as fun as this perk is here and there, it literally made everything so easy. But taking the game again after long breaks and all, it all falls really easily back in hand, and the parkour, even tho called unrealistic by a lot of people, runs very smooth. And you know, as much as I liked lingering in the world of Valhalla because I loved the mood and atmosphere, I kinda agree with the story dragging. Like, they could have done more and yeah I agree, even tho when playing, I did enjoy the parts that were there and I do like Eivor as a character. I also didn't like Layla on this game, like she became stupid during the Odyssey DLCs and she kept being stupid on Valhalla, to the point of dying and ressuscitating the "big bad" you had finally killed in the main story, only seconds earlier, ugh. Unity and Syndicate, I can't really pick stuff not to like for what they were, except the fact that when you 100% the story, there is nothing left to do, you can just abruptly drop the game and never come back to it. Black Flag lol I *hated* the parts outside the Animus, really some of the worst memories of playing the AC games. Now I feel sad about your appreciation of Connor, to me he was a compelling protagonist to a game, and I really liked that they dared straying from Ezio's personality. It wouldn't have worked to create a character similar to Ezio, and when they did, they did it well considering Connor's story and literal oppression all of his life. And as someone who has started the AC saga with Black Flag, so some open-worldish stuff, I really struggled appreciating AC1 to end of Ezio's era because of how you lack the freedom of exploring stuff on your own.
For me the worst thing about ACII is the combat. It was very rudimentary and pretty much the only thing not improved on from ACI. The defensive mechanics of having to wait for an attack and merely counter at the right time was OK at the time but after Brotherhood introduced chain attacks it just feels so stilted.
actually, you only get into open combat in Syndicate if you're inexperienced at the game. I went into it, and at hour 10 and I was already shadow killing enemies like a pro, and that's actually the way the game should be played. Open combat is only for rookie.
Im glad there isnt a complaints regarding revelation's tower defense lile in other videos, technically if you play the game right, you only do it once during the tutorial and wont need to do it anymore unless u intentionally try to get maximum notoriety
yknow the right mouse button and stuff for the old assassin's creed games IS the way to play the game it might be weird and inconvenient at first but some getting use to will make it so you'll always want to have it
The combat should've been less demanding. Even if you had great gear and damage. Enemies are still tanks. The gang territories needed mixing up. Each territory was identical. Even the models of blighters and enemies. Maybe add a territory boss in each territory that has an actual name with a little lore dump on that territory or enemy.
On unity i think the repetiveness of the story missions, all assassinations i did was getting in a palace or something, killing a bunch of guards and finally kill the target, no originality
Ironically, while i do agree that the reveal of the Cult leader wasn't very good, i think the Cultist System was one of the best additions in the series. Being able to freely hunt down targets at your leisure and outside of missions makes for some amazingly immersive experiences.
It’s not necessarily a bad system, but it can be executed poorly. It feels really good in Mirage, but in Valhalla and Odyssey it felt like a way to enable bloat.
The things I didn't like about each game Ac1: losing all your skills even though it makes no sense Ac2:mission replay not existing Brotherhood: the bank system Rev: mini games Ac3: hunting animals or not harvesting them causes desync Ac4: legendary ships were annoying Rogue:felt to similar OG:spongy enemies and level gating OD:spongey enemies level gating Val: far too long and boring
I would love a game where we can play as a man-at-arms or something in the early to late 1400s I just wanna play knight dress up like in odyssey :p A parkouring knight wouldn't even be that far fetched as armor wasn't that heavy, In fact Greek armor was much heavier comparatively Maybe its just my hyperfixation on armor in general but I would adore a game like this
Heres is my list. AC 1: The repeatabillity of the main story. AC 2: The random difficulty spike at the end AC Broterhood: The apple sequence in chapter 8 AC Revalation: The really unfocussed storylines and the bad merging of them AC 3 The main story AC 4 Black flag: Tailing mission AC Rouge Lack of memorable characters AC unity: Awful phasing AC syndicate: Content to repeated AC Origins: Bad sidequest AC Oddysey: Lack of narative impacts Did not play AC valhalla
The worst part about Odyssey is that it unfortunately had “Assassins Creed”next to it If the title of that was removed, then we had a rather interesting Greek/Roman setting of a cool game that actually was unique in a way But because it had Assassins creed next to it,it was then compared to the AC games, therefore it was framed as being driven and nothing like AC when I believe it really wasn’t their intention to make an AC styled game

@@DeadmansCreed Glad to find another person with the same opinion as me
For Brotherhood, if you desync, the thing will reset. You probably confused it with Revelations, since in that game you do have to restart.
@@user-jr8cz3if6n I meant full synch, not basic synch. If you fail the optional objective you have to restart, and god this bloody tank mission...
@@chrismoore5333 agreed but that has nothing to do with my comment
@@chrismoore5333how do people misunderstand Desmond? Genuinely curious
@@Pooky1991 I skipped those side missions lol. Disagree with ac4 but your opinion.
I think Claudia would've been good to have in AC: Revelations. She could've been their at the start of every sequence talking with Ezio about what he intended to do. Instead of writing letters to her. Letters that could've been easily intercepted.
ac odyssey was so long that by the time I found out who the leader of the cult was i had forgotten who Aspasia was

I think One of the thing they Could have done In Syndicate is that they could also rebuilt the Brotherhood in London.
Gang members only used by Jacob,
Assassins only locked to Evie.
100% agreed
He also comes from a warrioresque society as well, being trained from a young age on how to survive in rough circumstances on top of wanting to protect his people.
I agree. With what you just said. To me Connor was just an introverted person doing his best to save the world. That’s why I liked him as a character
Connor would be classified under stoicism
Truly Valhalla was the Templar: Origins game
What was added to AC1 after the kids comment was the collectable flags. The investigations and, to a lesser extent, citizen saving were part of the main story.
The thing about AC Unity is that they wanted to portray Arnos life as a kid to as an adult, making you feel the sadness as your character feels those emotions aswell. That’s why they didn’t focus on the French Revolution
They didn’t focus on the French Revolution until near the end lol
imo unitys story is pretty good i like it, My problem with unity is the muskets and flintlocks, There is no counter other than a weird unpredictable rolling system that doesnt work half the time, Wouldve preferred the system from ac3 where you can use a guard as a bullet shield.
I think you have to do the same in every game before it
@@waleedfarooqi5998Not at all.
@@brandonpick1486 Thanks. I learned that a while ago. I want it completely off. I want to be way above some enemies. Thank you for helping me.
💀
I think Connor got a bad wrap. We had three games with a character from birth to his death. He was a funny playboy to start and we watched him grow. Connor had a much different upbringing with watching almost his entire tribe (including his mother) die. That's quite a bit different from Ezio. So of course Connor would have a totally separate attitude. People seemed to me to want more of the same which they did not get. I found Connor to be a step in the right direction. Change is a good thing.
The only thing I didn't like was the first few hours with Hytham. He just bored the hell out of me.
Aspasia goes from wearing blue to purple(showing control over Athens to control over the entire conflict). I always thought it was a nice touch
The gang territories didn't bother me in Syndicate simply because i stealthed everything, so i didn't have to deal with the spongey combat.
I honestly saying syndicate is my first assassins creed game and I like it ngl the stealth is very nice and chill
@@chrismoore5333 Spoken like someone who clearly don't know wtf you're talking about and obviously never even read them. lmao
Ezio literally mentioned Altair's journal from The Secret Crusade novel that he read before he reached Constantinople.
I really liked connor and was really immersed in his story personally, cutting people down with his tomohawk always felt cool af
Happy to see players showing love for Origins as there was too much hate on it (in my country specially) but I loved it and would go for Platinum again if there was option
Where are you from?
I don't like enemy levels in the later games. I love Syndicate but the enemies are damage sponges. Plus it's a better power fantasy when Edward and Connor can solo armies when needed
My only issue is no jump and only one save leaving no replay ability.
I disagree, the more exaggerated and cool animations in Syndicate give a more power fantasy vibe to me
It's like a dialed up version of the arkham combat that the games were mimicking and I love it
I never understood how a game about pirates, had more stealty involved than most of the other games.
Especially now that I'm replaying all the games, finished with Ezio collection on ps a few days ago and that difference in controls in AC3 is practically immeasurable, I just love how easy it feels even with a controller to just run around and look cool and have full camera control on top of that
I love revelations, I originally played it when bingeing all the games and I never thought it was too similar to the other games.
Ezio’s mom did die I think either the year or before Cesare’s Death
At some point, it would be dope to see a list ranking Assassins from the books and comics!
So maybe I like that system more
i don’t mind him liking or disliking my favorite assassins creed game im here to see what’s his opinions on them
It annoys me that there is reality and animus in games
I really like Connor, his focused and serious personality fits the assassin theme way better, that's why he is one of my favorite characters besides Altair. Ezio is just overrated
Fair opinion😁
I still think the gang territories in AC: Syndicate are fun to play. I still do them whenever I play the game.
The only problem with ac 1 is u can't swim but this game was ahead of its time
The swordplay wasn't to bad and had some great assassination animations for its time.
Wait, what's wrong with AC2 control on pc? The right mouse button for running pretty much the perfect placement because you can both control the camera and run at the same time
From AC1 the worst thing is not having subtitles and having to click during cutscenes to not desynch
I'm currently at sequence 6 and I can't see at the moment where the hate for Connor comes from, not every protag should be a charming guy.
Hate? I don't hate anything. I dislike.

I at first didn't like the default control scheme on PC for AC either usin right mouse for HP but i got used to it and it actually feels pretty nice and makes sense to me. I feel like the reason they made this decision is because they didn't want to clog the keyboard with too many inputs the puppeteer system is complex with many different actions and u can alter ur profile to have even more options so having it all on the keyboard might end up cumbersome so they moveed armed hand and high profile to the mouse
imagine if instead of on the mouse u had to hold a button on the keyboard to be in HP while also having to press many different inputs at the same time on the keyboard. try it yourself rebind the controls and set HP to something on the keyboard anything and see how it feels to hold that to HP run while pressing other buttons to do high profile inputs... it just doesn't feel good and the RMB for HP ends up feeling quite logical. you may think "ya ok i get u but what about just having HP as a toggle? that would surely make it easier to manage right?" for some maybe it would as its really preference but for me its not easier. that was actually an option in the menus of AC1 and when i used it to see what it was like it ended up feeling very cumbersome and harder to precise than having it as a hold input that way u can hold it and slightly or fully release and have that direct sense of analog control.
Honestly in 2023 unity my only issues is the fact uplay does not work on it anymore and on top of that their is still a bug where sometimes ur character won't even swing his weapon and will just stare at ur enemy and die
connor always had a special place to me, he's the first native protagonist I'd ever seen(can't really think of very many others tbh)
Yet, story of Arno was okay, especially with the dead kings DLC.
It's about loss and revenge, pretty solid but yeah, it was unexpected in an AC game.
They truly did not care when they made that system.
Origins I didn't like being hunted by phylake, nor that I needed a stealth bow for stealth kills from long distances.
tbh i didnt have difficulties playing ac2 on pc, you just had to play with the camera a bit to jump where you wanted
@@TheHiddenOne690 yes I can see why are you think that way but at same time it’s still a bit unfair
@@alexandruacatrinei1032 I mainly like him because he’s a unique compared to the other protagonists and for his character arc and many other reasons
AC1 - repetiveness
AC2 - not able to replay missions
ACB - fractions challenges
ACV - innovation
AC3 - main character
AC4 - tail missions
ACR - too short
ACU - story
ACS - parkour (too easy)
ACO - side missions
ACO - too many quests
ACV - characters
My personal issue with Assassins creed revelations is that it feels like there was a lot of content that was cut like 20-25% of the game is missing.
I think Connor is an okay character. But I would've liked him more had he been written more like Bayek. Now that would've made him awesome to play as.
why not just make him like ezio instead? why not just a copy? what a dumb comment you did
The one thing they could’ve done with Unity to’ve made it a better story: include Shay and make the FINAL boss fight mission: Shay vs.
I like Connor
Connor lost his mother. He has the right to not trust anyone.
And even if Charles Lee did not burn his village Lee treated Connor like trash, innocent child just playing games with his friends. Connor would be a better man if he didn't have Achilles around.
To me Achilles was the worst character
People dislike Connor because they had 3 games with Ezio so they loved him like he was a real person
Odyssey isn't even a assassin or hidden one game it's just spartan
So I don't get why it even exists
Kenway saga will always be my favorite
And I want yo say your making great videos
I feel pretty much the same about odyssey, even tho I love that game and the variety of armor looks (Which I feel that misses on Valhalla, even tho it has the tattoos and different haircuts, the armors kinda feel the same and I really care about customization)
Anyways, I love the rpgs much better then the classics, even tho ezio's saga is 10/10
To me, Unity was the first game where it seemed that Ubisoft put more effort into side content than in the main story.
For me, black flags tailing missions werent a burden
For me they were a positive and logical quests, since you try to pry out the information on templar/assasin ordeal, since you are an outsider. These missions let you explore routes to parkour through city or even maneuver on ship in one of the best missions imo. Its fun to see routes to parkour, while keeping track on your targets (i try this without eagle vision, because otherwise its too easy)
For me ACTUALLY the worst part"S" are those islands with NOT ONLY chests and animus fragments, needed to unlock cheats, but also LETTERS AND MAPS NEEDED FOR LORE AND UPGRADES.
I dunno, buying the power lily in pvz 2 with real money, when you can get a powerup by spending 1000 ingame coins (which are easy to get)
I really liked odyssey. It was the fourth AC game I ever played.
for ac2, there’s that one crypt where you gotta wall run to finish it. i play on console and that feels damn near impossible, i only beat it by pure luck
Ac1: slow climbing
Ac2 : kinda long
Ac Brotherhood : stuck in 1 city
(Didn't play rev)
Ac3 : the combat sometimes is just so tedious and slow and you can't do shit to certain enemies
Ac4 : The naval combat missions are hard af
(Didn't play rouge)
Ac Unity : cant dodge bullets
Ac Syndicate : slow combat+ not enough side content
Ac Origins : the fact that you can't defeat certain enemies if you're in a low level
Ac Odyssey : almost everything but mainly the amount of grinding you need to do and how long it is like it took me 3 or 4 hours to get to level 12 in Origins and to get to level 12 in Odessey I grinded for 8 hours through random encounters with enemies 3 levels above me that took me an hour and a half to beat and the side missions that are just plain boring
(Didn't play Valhalla)
Syndicate has a lot of content the only issue is all of it is in the dlcs😔
@@DiademAce bruh so true
I'm very happy to see I'm not the only one who had a problem with the extremely buggy controls on AC2. I thought maybe bc it was the first AC game I ever played, or bc I was playing on a handheld console. I can't count how many times I wanted to sync a view point and make a leap of faith off the top of a building, only for ezio to jump off to the left and die
In Syndicate I didnt really mind the Gang territiries mission, only the Damn Kidnapping Missions.
so the right mouse button was used as a default for running in ac 1 as well cause back in the days on some of the keyboards u could use only like 2 keys at the same time which could be annoying cause u couldn't like hold shift + w + d to turn right a little bit
ACI: im gonna be honest, i got so used to Unity and post Unity mechanics that it would be really hard to be good at this game, especially given the already moderate pacing and copy pasted side content. it would be like chess and im bad at chess
ACII: lack of stealth tools and mechanics, i guess? besides, some story elements and plot holes
AC Brotherhood: rushed ending, the story is a bit bombastic
AC Revelations: animus stuff, setting is wasted potential, also lack of side content
ACIII: ending, pacing mid-game, also setting seems a bit liveless
ACIV: tailing missions
AC Rogue: wasted potential - undeveloped themes, copy pasted assassin mechanics instead of ones more suitable for a templar
AC Unity: broken mechanics, faulty detection system and other game breaking stuff
AC Syndicate: the slapstick and infantile vibe
AC Origins: grinding, rushed ending
1:55 Did you ever play Mass Effect 3 on PC? The controls for that game were even worse when you put multiple actions on a single key, this time the spacebar. It made you run, it made you go into cover, it made you jump over obstacles, it made you roll off, it makes you interact with certain points. I surely forgot some actions but this was gruesome and I dont know how I could handle it back then. ^^
Anyways, that makes AC2 look good against that.
That sounds like it would frustrate the heck outta me
@@TheHiddenOne690 it somehow didnt frustrate me back then but I remember I was frequently annoyed by it.
I’m a massive Viking fan so Valhalla was an amazing game for me it did feel more dull compared to the others but I loved the game
Im glad there isnt a complaints regarding revelation's tower defense lile in other videos, technically if you play the game right, you only do it once during the tutorial and wont need to do it anymore unless u intentionally try to get maximum notoriety
yknow the right mouse button and stuff for the old assassin's creed games IS the way to play the game
it might be weird and inconvenient at first but some getting use to will make it so you'll always want to have it
10:55 How would you go about improving the gang territories and the combat itself? I want to know.
@@TheHiddenOne690 Thats honestly one of the best constructive things Ive heard. Totally agree, those points wouldve made Syndicate 5 times better.
The things I didn't like about each game
Ac1: losing all your skills even though it makes no sense
Ac2:mission replay not existing
Brotherhood: the bank system
Rev: mini games
Ac3: hunting animals or not harvesting them causes desync
Ac4: legendary ships were annoying
Rogue:felt to similar
OG:spongy enemies and level gating
OD:spongey enemies level gating
Val: far too long and boring
I would love a game where we can play as a man-at-arms or something in the early to late 1400s
I just wanna play knight dress up like in odyssey :p
A parkouring knight wouldn't even be that far fetched as armor wasn't that heavy, In fact Greek armor was much heavier comparatively
Maybe its just my hyperfixation on armor in general but I would adore a game like this
Heres is my list.
AC 1: The repeatabillity of the main story.
AC 2: The random difficulty spike at the end
AC Broterhood: The apple sequence in chapter 8
AC Revalation: The really unfocussed storylines and the bad merging of them
AC 3 The main story
AC 4 Black flag: Tailing mission
AC Rouge Lack of memorable characters
AC unity: Awful phasing
AC syndicate: Content to repeated
AC Origins: Bad sidequest
AC Oddysey: Lack of narative impacts
Did not play AC valhalla
I mean rogue was developed right as Assassin Creed Unity date release came out so it was made in like a week
The worst part about Odyssey is that it unfortunately had “Assassins Creed”next to it
If the title of that was removed, then we had a rather interesting Greek/Roman setting of a cool game that actually was unique in a way
But because it had Assassins creed next to it,it was then compared to the AC games, therefore it was framed as being driven and nothing like AC when I believe it really wasn’t their intention to make an AC styled game
