Dc Motos got it last Tuesday! Fun ride. Threw up 200 miles , about to do my first oil change. I am already mods and bore kits to get the top speed. The main road I ride on is 50 mph. I have to ride in the slow lane , can’t keep up with traffic as I would like

I have the same bike I'm trying to figure out how to hook up the vacuum lines from scratch also connecting them to the gas tank when I bought it someone took all the lines off
You can connect a vacuum line in the manifold fitting (there are two) and plug in the second one a peace of house with and screw at the end so no air will come through.
Can someone tell me what the problem couldn't be if my hornet won't turn over, the batteries on 70%, the spark plug is good but I can't get it to start....
My 2022 like Super Hornet 150cc has a good battery but doesn't send power to dash nor anywhere else but see spark on wires. Do you know what could be causing the issues?
@SUSHI_-zn2fz This problem happens a lot with this bikes, Check the ignition switch cables. They brake very easily from the bottom. If so, remove the ignition and soldier those wires back together ❤️
My buddy hooked up the battery wrong and but ground with positive lights came on and it started smoking. Now that I have battery hooked properly no light no tick no nothing. I replaced the fuse that's on the wire connecting to the battery. What do I do to get it running this is very frustrating as I just bought it
It’s just 4 bolts loosen the first one on the muffler than the pipe joint than on the engine two nuts ? Putting it back take pictures how it looks before dismantling it Than take muffler off than the rest but when you put back make sure you put the gasket on than put nuts on don’t tighten up until all bolts and muffler is in place look and look at Your photo than tighten up from the block work your way back to the muffler

Hey man i know this video is old but i can really use some expert help and guidance when it comes to my Roma x18rs it is the same bike in this video just a 2021 and what happened is my muffler is rattling which i will be getting a replacement and after my muffler got damaged and started rattling i started hearing a ticking noise when the bike is idol and the ticking gets louder when i use throttle . please help

A man, I've got the same exact bike, got it from someone that had it sitting for years. I've got it to get spark, fuel and compression but the damn thing refuses to start even with starting fluid. I've cleaned all jets in the carb, I've cleaned out the gas tank, I've swapped carbs, new battery, new spark plug, I've tried jump starting it to give more amps and everything else, it smokes when cranking. Need ideas people, I've gotten pure junk running before as long as it has compression, fuel and spark but this thing has all and refuses to start

Air leak at the intake manifold was the problem I had. The idle speed was varied, then I had a hard time trying to get it to start for a couple of weeks and it just wouldn't at all. $350 at mechanic to fix that but it's good as new now
This is a great video on this Roma hornet you need to no how to work on a motor bike with some skill it’s a nice bike they do come with a lot of electrical problems most parts you can get on Amazon ,thats a gy6 engine the bike runs great and get a 12v light tester you will need it easy to work on it
Hi Roland, you're right. These bikes need some adjustments in order to be reliable , specially on the electric part. I like that there is no need to bore the case to make it 180cc . It comes bore from factory, thanks for sharing

@@precise3291 I'm in Washington DC. This place is though for bike owners with small motors because bikes under 150cc can be used with without tag and they get stolen very easily.
When you try to start up the bike and have no spark, will the solenoid still make the clicking noise? I have they same bike. I was riding down the road and was going about 45 mph then became instantly sluggish and was maxing out at 25mph or so. Then it completely broke down. Now just clicks when I try to turn it on. I tested my battery and was good. Could you offer any advice for me?
I'm going to upload a video about it tomorrow morning so don't forget to subscribe. In the meantime try to turn the flywheel to make sure the engine is fine
The spark plug is located in the right side of the engine. Just follow the muffler pipe and right before where it connects with the engine you'll see the spark plug cap

A perfomance air filter and carburetor will give you the extra power that you need. It's the cheapest and faster way and also it's a good start.
Fantastic. Mine has an issue with the idle...keeps dying off under 2k rpm...sometimes runs fast at 4k rpm..carburetor float...? Cdi.

That's a common issue with this bikes. Most of the times is the intake manifold or vacuum hoses, good luck 🤞

Are the tires tubed or tubeless
These type of scooters use tubeless tires

Check the green wire that goes to ground and make sure is connected or try a new battery

I really don't but any bored gy6 150cc can be used as well as a aftermarket air filter and they can be found on Amazon or Ebay.

Can you show us how to change the carburetor it’s much easier on my pit bike but it seems difficult to get to it on the Roma.
I'll do it when the Next Roma comes to the shop
I had my mechanic do it because it's a royal pain in the ass to get to the carb on this thing you have to take off so much fairing
