My dad worked on this film, he still speaks today on how adamant Robin and Sally were to NOT have these two get back together in the end. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and this type of family needed a voice at that time.
R.I.P. Robin Williams. He passed away in 2014. I saw Mrs. Doubtfire in the cinema. Loved it. Great cast. Great performances. Great directing. Great writing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To this day I cannot watch his films because of his death. I will start crying. Thanks for reacting to Mrs. Doubtfire.

When i was in highschool a member of the wrestling team had a freak wrestling accident and had to have a leg amputated. Family had no insurance. Robin Williams loved wrestling and paid for the medical bills and helped him get a car. All he asked was that there be no press and not to tell people. He would also come to local high school wrestling tournaments and hang out with the teams. He was funny and humble.

The more times I watch this movie the more I realise that Pierce Brosnan's character was a genuinely nice guy here not some rich arrogant prick. He didn't even get angry at Daniel after he revealed himself in the restaurant and he was always polite and friendly to Mrs. Doubtfire and Miranda and the children.

I remember not liking that when I saw this as a kid, yet going back 11 more times to see it at the cinema (yes, I did keep count) and warming to the idea by the 3rd or 4th. I’m so glad I found this channel tonight, I know what I’m doing for the next couple of days. Giggle giggle. I’m so excited for a new reaction channel I haven’t seen. One of the biggest sleepers of Robin Williams movies that damn near no one has reacted to is called Father’s Day. I’m super hard to make a laugh, especially laugh out loud, your channel is probably young enough that you have plenty of content ideas, but this is my first to your channel.🍿 ❤😊 i’m a reaction channel junkie, and when a specific group or couple starts a new channel, I always love to throw out one that would draw subscribers. Well, that and my other first reminder being my first video and not knowing you both well, but this one always reminds me of the birdcage. I don’t know you well enough to suggest that.😅
Hello Heather, we're so happy that you found us! We're unfamiliar with "Father’s Day" and I checked our list. I added Father’s Day and Birdcage to our long list. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! And welcome!! (:
I forgot how good Robin Williams was in this. Only saw it once when it came out, but enjoyed watching again with you guys. Robin Williams is good in everything he does. I think his best work might have been "Awakenings" with Robert DeNiro. If you haven't seen it- it's worth watching. Williams is mainly a comedic actor but in "Awakenings" he shows his versatility.
This is a beautiful movie ❤❤The late great Robin Williams is fantastic ❤❤this movie to me is a pandora's box of emotions and I feel them all ❤❤beautiful reaction as always. The compassion you both have is a beautiful thing ❤❤
Wish I had a dad like him, instead of the one I got, who only spent holidays with us briefly cause he had to then used me to get a house cause something with a loan from his catholic church then kicked me out claiming I was hurting my little half brother who said I wasn't straight to their face and even cried with me when they kicked me out when I was 13. Plus some bad things he done when he used to do drugs when I was 2 causing my mom to divorce and the cops. Last time I saw him was a Christmas party in 2011, time before that was 2001. Always made watching shows and movies that focused on parental things with their kids painful, broke down crying when I saw the Santa clause with Tim alan a few times when I was a kid. Still hurts watching stuff like that and this.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear all that. That sounds horrible. You definitely didn't have it easy, but it sounds like you're overcoming everything. Congrats on that and keep strong! (:
If (when 😉) you make it to the Cannes Film Festival, you will definitely enjoy seeing ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ rolling around in her speedy mobility scooter and walking around taking photos with festival goers, it’s really awesome. The impersonator has been there for the 15 years I’ve been going and it never gets old.
Oh, really, that sounds like fun! Jessica went to Cannes a few years ago, but I don't know if she would have even known or recognized the character. Thanks for sharing! (:
Mike! You know how Jessica mentioned what a good actor Robin Williams was? I have a suggestion for you to tuck away. In this true story, Robin Williams plays a doctor who strives to work on a cure for a disease. That's all I'm going to say so as not to spoil it. The movie was very moving. It's called "Awakenings."
Oddly enough right before he passed, Robin Williams signed on to do a legacy sequel to "Mrs. Doubtfire", which makes me curious as to what the plot would be because this movie's story is so self-contained I don't how you could follow it up.
Yes, I think you're absolutely right. I can't see where a new story would be going, and it's probably unnecessary either. Mrs. Doubtfire is a fantastic movie in itself. Thanks for watching! (:
Guys, I hope that Good Will Hunting is in the works for a reaction. Everyone, including Robin Williams delivered in that one. if one or both of you haven’t seen it, it would be a major missed opportunity for a movie reaction.
Robin Williams, a man of great talent and a lot of heart. I miss him. ❤ Mrs. Doubtfire. If you liked this one you’d both enjoy The Birdcage. Also, not sure if it’s been suggested, but I’m hoping you’ll check out White Chicks. Ty M & J!
If you enjoyed Ms doubt fire you're going to really enjoy the movie "JACK" Both of them are two of my favorite Robin Williams movies of all time. This movie is so timeless and a childhood favorite of mine
@@BossMovieReactions Np. Yes it's such a good movie and I can't wait to see your guys reaction to it, but brave yourselves because it's very emotional too. So you might shed some tears;(
You should see Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. Robin had to get advice from Dustin cause he played a struggling actor that need to become a woman for work. Also you should see Robin Williams in One Hour Photo.
10:38 did anyone else notice the smirk on the woman lawyers face when the took the temporary rights away from the father. Wow. Uve seen this movie many many times and i just caught that. That lawyer was happy when the kids were ripped away from the father. Almost typical when it comes from the divorce lawyers towards men
@@NikkieTwix Yeah, I've heard Irish people's accents before and I don't think I sound like them, but then again, I'm definitely no expert either. I'm originally from Switzerland (German Part), so my accent would be classified as "Swiss-German." (:
I was so hoping you guys would react to this movie. Only Robyn Williams could have made this movie work. When he took his own life he was starting work on a second Mrs. Doubtfire. I always wonder what could have been. Lots of love to you from me and my channel.
@@BossMovieReactions When he ended his own life. He was starting work on Mrs. Doubtfire part 2. I always wonder what could have been. By the way he did a favor good suspense/thriller called “Insomnia” with Al Pacino. Nobody has reacted to it so far.
divorce ALWAYS favors the mother. my buddy who works in the trades lost his kids to his ex who doesn't work and does drugs but the law didn't think he could take care of them on his 100,000$ salary so the ex just gets a check from him and cant see his kids. Im surprised he's remained sane. I wouldn't have.
Yeah, you're right. I was going to say something like that during our reaction but didn't want to start a discussion with audience members. LOL. Thanks for watching! (:
This is for you Mike and I hope I’m wrong. My childhood was overall rough, not a lot of love or affection around me. I’ve seen this movie and Liar , liar many times. You and I tear up at literally the same parts involving kids and parents. Did you also have a “challenging” childhood? Very personal question and I understand if no reply. It’s just that your eyes show a lot of emotion and I feel how they look at certain parts of those 2 movies. Again, hope I’m wrong. It’s just that I got such a weird connection with your expressive output during certain parts. Hope I don’t come over creepy lol
Hello Dr. Anderson, I don't mind your question at all. I would say that I had a pretty good childhood in Switzerland, even though my parents got divorced (I think I was around 11 years old). I might have been affected by it more than I believe, especially seeing my mom in so much pain and my father being suicidal, but it's not painful for me to think back at these times at all. But I did notice, in retrospect, that I always seemed to have a bottomless capacity to feel pain. Past breakups with girlfriends almost killed me, losing a pet almost killed me, and seeing other people in pain affected me greatly. I don't exactly know where it comes from, but it occasionally scares me a bit. Some psychologists in our audience said that I was a natural empath. I didn't even know what that was, but it seems to fit. Anyway, I'd say I'm a very happy, and peaceful, and balanced person. -- Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! ( :
@@BossMovieReactions Really appreciate your honest reply Mike. Like you, I consider myself a pretty rational, caring person. Funny how parts of movies can momentarily bring back feelings within ourselves that we have tried to forget. Anyways just wanted to let you know a fellow man appreciates you showing emotion. You got a great gal it seems, like many men- don’t fkn blow it lol. Beat wishea
Mrs. Doubtfire is a strange movie. The premise... well, the premise is insane. It could easily have been a horror film with a few alterations. Robin was good at playing creepy characters in later films, both 1hr Photo and Insomnia (though I prefer the original '97 Norwegian Insomnia with Stellan Skarsgard). In case you're curious what a horror version of Mrs. Doubtfire would look like, The Clip Theorist has a pretty good 43 second trailer for it: th-cam.com/video/FtZzp5Q2JUY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wZHOQKf3Ju-GcPBd

Yeah, I know, lots of movies to catch up. In 1993 I was still living in Switzerland and then when I moved to the U.S. I was dirt poor and worked like a horse for many years, learning the language and the business, etc. Now it's time to catch up. Thanks for watching! (:
@@BossMovieReactions you’re welcome. I love you and your wife, you seem like very nice people ❤️❤️
@@nsasupporter7557 Aw, thank you!! 🙏👍♥
What a wonderful watch. Robin Williams was so good in this. Loved the guy and a tragic loss RIP bro
I liked House of Pain playing as the wife arrived at the party and ended up asking for a divorce. I laughed along with Mrs Boss lady and just had a great time. Thanks guys please keep em coming!
Shaun of the Dead fan haha
Thanks for watching and commenting, PunkersTV!! (:
Mike, I love your critical analysis harking back to your Engineering education. Kudos! I am a Physicist and view movies in the same way.
Hi Mark, nice to know we have something in common. Thanks for watching! (:
You guys are just delightful! This was my first time watching your reactions and now I'm officially subscribed 😁 💜💜
Fantastic, Doedee!! We're happy you found us! Welcome! And thanks for subscribing!!
Yes, Robin was excellent in this film. "Awakenings" is on our list, thanks for the reminder. (:
Ah! You recignized Polly Holiday from Liar Liar. She played Flo on the 70's TV show Alice. What a character.
Haha, yeah, we instantly recognized her. Great character indeed! (:
This is a beautiful movie ❤❤The late great Robin Williams is fantastic ❤❤this movie to me is a pandora's box of emotions and I feel them all ❤❤beautiful reaction as always. The compassion you both have is a beautiful thing ❤❤
Hi Marlaina, great to see you here again in the comment section. Happy to hear you enjoyed the reaction. Thanks for all the hearts! Love it! (:
Hey guys good to talk to you again I've watched this before and that part when the purse snatcher tried to get his purse and couldn't was classic
Hi Tom, yeah, I remember that part... Jessica cracked up big time!! (:
Such a wonderful movie
Yes, this was such a pleasant surprise! A fantastic movie! Thanks for watching! (:
What's funny is the seen "you could play for the 49ers" when Robin was actually short lol miss him so dang much
Wish I had a dad like him, instead of the one I got, who only spent holidays with us briefly cause he had to then used me to get a house cause something with a loan from his catholic church then kicked me out claiming I was hurting my little half brother who said I wasn't straight to their face and even cried with me when they kicked me out when I was 13.
Miss this man terribly.
Yeah, I definitely want to see more of him! RIP. /-:
Mrs. Boss Lady :) You have got to look up and watch live commedy acts of Robyn Williams - the most unique commedian that ever was.
Thanks for that, it's noted! (:
Great video,great reactions
Thank you, we appreciate it!! 😊
Thanks for the nice welcome, guys!
Thank YOU for your support!! (:
Awesome. Thanks for the recommendation. I just added it to our list! Thanks! (:
Your face at 51:31 😂
It's the best reaction ever seen😂
Haha, thanks, Derek! We appreciate it! (:
Oddly enough right before he passed, Robin Williams signed on to do a legacy sequel to "Mrs. Doubtfire", which makes me curious as to what the plot would be because this movie's story is so self-contained I don't how you could follow it up.
Yes, I think you're absolutely right. I can't see where a new story would be going, and it's probably unnecessary either. Mrs. Doubtfire is a fantastic movie in itself. Thanks for watching! (:
You guys are the best❤ new subscriber
Thanks for subbing! We appreciate it. Welcome on board! (:
Guys, I hope that Good Will Hunting is in the works for a reaction. Everyone, including Robin Williams delivered in that one. if one or both of you haven’t seen it, it would be a major missed opportunity for a movie reaction.
Yes, GWH is in our queue and comes highly recommended by many. Looking forward to it! Thanks for the reminder! (:
What a pleasant couple🥰
Aw, thank you, Justin! ((:
Love your reaction to Mrs Doubtfire. May I suggest you both watch Patch Adams, another one of my Robin Williams favourites
Awesome, thanks Billy. I recently saw the trailer for "Patch Adams" and it looked really interesting. I just added it to our list! Thanks! (:
robin is great actor
Yes, he is! A great actor and a great comedic talent! (:
Robin Williams, a man of great talent and a lot of heart. I miss him. ❤ Mrs. Doubtfire. If you liked this one you’d both enjoy The Birdcage. Also, not sure if it’s been suggested, but I’m hoping you’ll check out White Chicks. Ty M & J!

You should see Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. Robin had to get advice from Dustin cause he played a struggling actor that need to become a woman for work.
Also you should see Robin Williams in One Hour Photo.
Yes, someone just mentioned Tootsie, so I added it and "One Hour Photo" to our list. Thanks! (:

My favorite Robin Williams movie is “the Fisher King.”💔❤️🩹❤️
Cool, thanks! I put that one on our list yesterday! Thanks for watching! (:
10:38 did anyone else notice the smirk on the woman lawyers face when the took the temporary rights away from the father. Wow. Uve seen this movie many many times and i just caught that. That lawyer was happy when the kids were ripped away from the father. Almost typical when it comes from the divorce lawyers towards men
YES, I saw it the first time and then again during editing. Quite a disturbing smile. (:
If you haven’t yet another cool Robin Williams movie that you would like if you haven’t seen it yet was good morning Vietnam. That’s an awesome movie.
Thanks, Kevin, the movie is on our list! Thx! (:
As a Scot I can say hand on heart that Mrs Doubtfire’s accent is Scottish 😂
Haha, good to know. Thank you. Btw, 9 out of 10 people think I'm Irish (?). Do you hear it??
@@BossMovieReactions not so much! But I’m no accent expert, I couldn’t place yours 🙂 where is your accent from if you don’t mind me asking ?
@@NikkieTwix Yeah, I've heard Irish people's accents before and I don't think I sound like them, but then again, I'm definitely no expert either. I'm originally from Switzerland (German Part), so my accent would be classified as "Swiss-German." (:
You all should watch The Waterboy with Adam Sandler
Hi John, yep, that one is on our list. Thanks! (:
Boss I thought you doing the 2010 Devil horror movie? I'm dying lol you should do it.

If you want to see another great Robin Williams movie, I strongly suggest Dead poets society or Good Will Hunting.
Thanks for that. "Good Will Hunting" is on our list and I just added "Dead Poets Society." Thanks! (:
Realizing robin doesnt do voices he does accents
Yes, he does some amazing accents indeed. He also says in the movie, that he "does voices." Nevertheless, a fantastic movie. Thanks for watching! (:
I was so hoping you guys would react to this movie. Only Robyn Williams could have made this movie work. When he took his own life he was starting work on a second Mrs. Doubtfire. I always wonder what could have been. Lots of love to you from me and my channel.
Yeah, such an amazing movie! I was surprised how good it was. Lots of love back to you! ((:
@@BossMovieReactions When he ended his own life. He was starting work on Mrs. Doubtfire part 2. I always wonder what could have been.
By the way he did a favor good suspense/thriller called “Insomnia” with Al Pacino. Nobody has reacted to it so far.
@@solvingpolitics3172 Yeah, I would watch Mrs. Doubtfire 2. Yes, Insomnia is on our list. Thanks! (:
@@BossMovieReactions You won’t be disappointed by Insomnia. Mrs Doubtfire 2 was not made before he died.

FUNNY MRS DOUBTFIRE (1993 ) FILM - - BOSS MOVIE REACTION !!!!
Thanks for watching, Andrew!!! (:
divorce ALWAYS favors the mother. my buddy who works in the trades lost his kids to his ex who doesn't work and does drugs but the law didn't think he could take care of them on his 100,000$ salary so the ex just gets a check from him and cant see his kids. Im surprised he's remained sane. I wouldn't have.
He makes 100,000 a year and still can't keep his kids? That's more then I make in a year dumb ass law.
Yeah, you're right. I was going to say something like that during our reaction but didn't want to start a discussion with audience members. LOL. Thanks for watching! (:
If you love Robin Williams I highly suggest you guys watch Bicentennial Man.

Doubtfire would look like, The Clip Theorist has a pretty good 43 second trailer for it:
