This has become one my favorite movies of all time!! Thank you guys so much for the recommendation to watch this after my Jumanji reaction!
So many wonderful lessons & beautiful moments in this movie, and it will stock with me for a long time ❤ I hope you enjoy the video!
FLUBBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Popeye. From 1980.
This movie is from the 90s
Late to noticing your reaction, the one fun fact I have to share that’s possibly already been divulged is that during the filming Robin walked around San Francisco as his Mrs. Doubtfire character, one of the places he went into in character was a sex shop inquiring about the items inside. Hilarity ensued as it wasn’t initially grasped by the workers at the shop that it was Robin.
Oh and as long as we’re recommending Robin Williams movies, you should really check out Awakenings… it is based on a true story and as a warning it isn’t a comedy, but it really shows how great Robin was as a serious actor as well, even in his early days when that pretty much all he was k own for. It also stars a young Robert DiNiro…

Robin and Sally really fought to have it end with them apart, this movie was for everyone, but it was a love letter to kids who don't get to see their parents get back together, and show them that it'll still be ok
Wow .. never knew that
@@trioduece7559 yeah it was originally written that they got back together.
I just wish there was some sense of loyalty toward Robin's character in Sally. He is the father of her kids. Instead, she jumped at the chance to destroy him
@@LukeLovesRose I think it's clear that what we see in the beginning was a LONG time coming. I don't think she "jumped" at anything. I think he'd been an irresponsible screw-up for a long time, and she finally reached her limit. Yes, he eventually figures out his s***, but she had moved on by that point.
@@derekfnord I'm talking about after the whole Mrs Doubtfire debacle. But no matter what, theres nothing really likable about her character. Theres never any connection between her and Robin, outside of the Mrs. Doubtfire costume. She treats him like he got abusive or something
Miranda's new cellphone ringtone: Robin Williams saying "Miranda? wassup."
Miranda's new text message ringtone: Pierce Brosnan saying "Hello Miranda."
YESSSSSS HAHAHAHA
@@MoviesWithMiranda The cartoon at the start of the film Pudgy and Grunge was originally suppose to be it's own full short but it ran too long and was cut! Plus it never had an actual ending notice we never get to see the birds fate and here it is enjoy! th-cam.com/video/ChHvK9z96cE/w-d-xo.html😺🐤🎬🎥
One of the great things about this movie is that no one is a villain. It would have been so easy to make Daniel the "good guy" and Miranda (or Stu) the "bad guy," but it's so much more powerful that they're not. Everyone is just trying to do their best to do the right thing.
Miranda was definitely the villain. She had no right to try and keep the kids from him. 100% the villain.
Um Miranda took his kids away coz dad wanted to throw his son a birthday party
@@zach4627 It was more then that. Things had been going downhill for a longtime, but the party ended up having the cops show up.
@@profanepersonality No any judge would have granted Miranda custody. Daniel had to job and thus no way to support the kids, he had no housekeeping skills thus he couldn't provide a safe and sanitary place for the kids to stay. Yes Daniel was good loving father but he really was piling everything on Miranda. She was basically the sole source of income, always had to clean up his messes and thus had no time to spend with the kids which isn't fair. You also get to see the negative affects Daniels no rules all fun lifestyle was having on the kids when Liddy showed no respect for Mrs. Doubtfire's authority when she told them to go do homework and she refused and wanted to do things her way and watch their show
I would say Miranda's lawyer was a if not the villain; she took too much pleasure from hurting Daniel.
If you thought Robin had a lot of bloopers in this, he apparently had so much extra material for his character Genie in Aladdin, that they could have made a second movie.
Loving your videos by the way, your laughter is addictive
At the end, Hearing him talk as Mrs Doubtfire about parents and divorce and then hearing him say “bye-bye” knowing that he’s gone now just breaks me so much 😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
100%!! The final "Bye-bye" in his voice hits so super hard now.
Miranda, I have to say. Stumbling over your channel(s) is one of the greatest things ever. I grew up with those films. Watching you react to them for the first time, in most cases, is really refreshing. Greetings from Munich, Germany.
Regarding your question about doing different voices. I can do that and it is something you cannot really learn or rehearse. Yet you can get into character and really sink into it. However, for me it is more like a hobby - I'm an English teacher. Though, it sometimes helps in class. As they say: As a teacher you are 80% entertainer and 20% teacher.
Love your reactions! You are so genuine and charming. Really brightens the day!
The thing about Pierce Brosnon in this movie is he’s actually a good guy, so it’s hard to hate him.
“ it was a run by fruiting!”
And I felt so bad for Stu because he didn’t do anything wrong and he wasn’t a bad guy at all.
Something I always loved about the movie: Pierce Brosnan's character is actually a really nice guy. He's not mean to the kids or to Miranda, or even to Mrs Doubtfire. He's a perfectly nice, charming man who'd be perfect for Miranda.
I just bring this up because it's so easy in these kinds of 'couple having trouble' movies to introduce a potential new love-interest, only to have them be such a total asshole that it'll never happen. I love that not only do Daniel and Miranda not get back together, but Stu is a perfect guy to 'replace' Daniel. It helps cement the ending where Daniel and Miranda don't get back together, because they DIDN'T work as a couple.
Yeah I'm glad they didn't go "Couple gets divorced and the ex wife's new boyfriend is an asshole to make you want them to get back together."
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 This is the very opposite of conservative. Daniel dressed up as a woman, with his brother in a same sex relationship, and in the end he and Miranda did NOT get back together.
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 I certainly didn't want to argue with you - I just didn't understand how it was conservative - when it seemed to be on the other end of the spectrum.
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 I'm sorry, I don't understand your point. What do you mean that Pierce Brosnan's character should've known better than to replace Daniel? Do you mean that divorced people aren't allowed to find a new partner?
I agree, although he does have one kinda asshole moment when he calls Daniel a “loser” to some random dude 🤣
"The whole time? THE WHOLE TIME?!" I say that at least once a week 😂

RIP Robin Williams. He's missed more than he would ever appreciate, being as humble as he was.
Another hysterically funny Robin movie is 'Cadillac Man' (1990) :)
39:15 Them not getting back together is what made this movie work. Forcing them to reconcile at the end would've been cliched. Also, she's dating Pierce Brosnan, so it's not like she's slumming it.
I get the feeling they broke up after Miranda's birthday and you came blame Stu I mean he literally almost died because of Daniel on top of probably being weirded out he went around dressing like a woman
@@digitaladventurer2142 Stu is remarkably good natured not to hold a grudge against them both.
This movie loses most of its credibility by trying to sell that Miranda would've ever had any kind of chance to get a guy like Stu to give her even a glance. It's just ridiculous because she has nothing but baggage to give. No looks, no personality. Nothing!
Liar Liar did the forced get back together thing and it genuinely weakens the movie and Audrey's character. Fletcher had cheating on Audrey throughout their marriage, confirmed by her line to him, "When we were married, I wasn't having s*x NEARLY as much as YOU were." Why would it make sense for her to get back with a guy like that? Plus, the guy Audrey's was seeing (forget name, Cary Elwes' character) wasn't a bad guy. It makes no sense that she'd take Fletcher back when clearly she knows there are better guys out there.
I'm glad this wasn't just another Parent Trap remake, where they trash the new boyfriend/girlfriend, and have them just forget all the crap that drove them apart in the first place.
I saw this movie as a child, around the time when my parents had a divorce. I was so happy to see the couple in the movie not get back together, because that felt sincere and realistic. This movie helped me understand why sometimes parents are better off apart.
How have you gone this long without seeing these Robin Williams classics????
I recommend the movie Hook. A highly underrated Robin Williams movie. Directed by Steven Spielberg, music by John Williams.
Hook is absolutely fantastic! An amazing movie.
Hook is a classic!
Y'all must not remember the movie correctly. It wasn't that great. Never land is supposed to be a cool, that was not what we got. It was brown and dead looking
@@Saiman9000 nah hook is amazing, you tripping lol
A few Robin Williams movie and scary performance is "One Hour Photo"
It's pretty amazing how Robin Williams can absolutely break your heart and fill it with joy in the same film. My Mom looked exactly like Sally Field when this came out, and my parents divorced. It was close to home.
Many times he'll also make and break you in the same scene too.
Man went hard in Jack with that
When I saw this as a teenager in the early 2010's, it became one of my biggest inspirations for being the voice impressionist I am today! I'm not an official VA yet, but I'm gonna keep working hard to make my dream a reality!
How old are you?
@@CleansHaven I'd rather not answer that.
Lots of luck and support to you! ❤ Hope you make it big. 👍
@@EdithCardellini Thank you! ^^
This movie is fantastic on so many levels. Every time you watch it, you pick something new. A lot of Robin's dialogue here was improvised by him. Killer line after killer line.
This was such a joy to watch thank you for this reaction. I grew up with this movie, but I definitely appreciate it a 100x more as an adult. To this day this still remains as one of my top favorite movies. Robin Williams will forever be a national treasure. He was taken from us too soon. 😥
My parents divorced when I was 6, in 1992. A year later Mrs. Doubtfire was released. I grew up on this movie. And with Robin Williams. Robin's character in this movie was a lot like my dad. Imperfect, funny, and loved spending time with me. Even had the hairy arms. And although divorced, made the effort. He wanted to be in my life. Both of my parents did. I'm lucky in that way, not every kid's parent wants to be in their life, but mine did, even though they didn't like each other anymore.
I'm 38 now. My parents are no longer here. I miss them every day. I have their wedding album, for when they first were married in 1974, when they were in their early 20s. Full of life, laughing together. I like to think of them that way. I miss Robin too. When he passed, the little girl in this movie Mara Wilson, who is all grown up now, had a blog where she talks about this time with Robin, and I remember this quote from her blog,
"“If you can affect someone when they’re young, you are in their heart forever. It is remarkable how many lives Robin touched, and how many people said, just as I had, that he reminded them of their fathers. I suppose - could I really end this any other way? - we’re all his goddamn kids, too."
RIP Mom, Dad, and Robin.
You are fast becoming my favorite movie reviewer! Love you like this one so much! I'm a huge halloween fan, so the foam prosthetic faces are a go-to because they move when your face does and creeps people out!
My own father passed away in June, at only 67, from alcoholism and cigarettes. And one of his last full sentences to me, the last time we ever spoke, at his hospice bed, was "cry when you gotta cry, son. It's gonna be alright." And this movie always jerked my tears, but the entire final monologue as he addresses Katie just feels insurmountable now.
It always makes this old man happy when a movie of this quality can hit home so thoroughly with a person as young as yourself! Not many have that ability at such a tender age.
Mrs. Doubtfire is undoubtedly one of the masterpieces of comedy. I remember watching the movie for the first time around the time it was released when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I laughed so hard at some scenes that it was almost necessary to call an ambulance. At the same time, the film conveyed a serious message, which was presented in an extremely warm and hopeful way.
All the actors cast in the movie deserve full marks. The child actors were amazing, but the heart of the film is, of course, the comedic genius and source of endless joy, Robin Williams. Many of even the smaller scenes in the film were shot up to 30 times, and with each take, Robin brought something new, as he had an inexhaustible supply of ideas. The restaurant scene that culminates the movie was reportedly filmed over nearly three weeks. The scene where Daniel performs different voices for family court supervisor Mrs. Sellner was reportedly shot up to 80 times. Robin Williams could have improvised endlessly with new voices, and although the excellent supporting actress, the late Anne Haney, managed to keep an incredible straight face as Mrs. Sellner, undoubtedly many takes ended up in the trash due to laughter.
Robin Williams was a great actor. He made the best comedies and could also do the deepest dramas so well you could feel his feelings through his acting. Truly one of the greats!
7:56 "You at my _begonias!"_
You gotta watch _out_ for those goats. They're a very high-maintenance animal.
That ending speech still moves me to tears all these years later. As a kid of divorce and a parent of kids of divorce, it hits deep.
Just discovered your channel, and loved your reaction to this. Mrs Doubtfire is my favorite Robin Williams movie. He was a one in a million human.
Not sure if you'll see/read this, but I feel like you'd enjoy the movie Dutch with Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy from Married With Children) if you've never seen it. It's a road trip, potential step dad versus spoiled, potential step son movie, with tons of funny and heartfelt moments.
Keep up the great work on your channel, and I hope to see more great content. 😀👍
Love Seeing Your Reactions To All These Great Movie's Sweetheart 😘
You have been the same reaction as I am every time I saw this masterpiece ... Have everything .. 90% laugh and 10% sad moments ... Thanks for the react ... now you have a new follower 🤩🤩
This is what I call a great reaction. I’ve seen this film so many times that I take it for granted. But to see you express so much joy one moment, and cry the next, was an absolute pleasure and reminded me of how it was when I saw the film for the very first time.
I only recent,y discovered your channel but you’re fast becoming g one of my favourite reactors. Thank you.
You are fun to watch movies with...and you don't cuss! Thank you....I just subbed.💗
This masterpiece is timeless! The acting was gr8, humor and soundtracks on point and a phenomenal message!
I look forward to you reacting to some other gr8 flicks with top notch acting like "MAID IN MANHATTAN" with Jennifer Lopez , "BLAST FROM THE PAST" staring Brendan Fraser and "THE BUCKET LIST" Staring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.
A common aspect of these films, including Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam, is the remarkable ability of Robin Williams and the screenwriters behind him to fuse drama and comedy so naturally and meaningfully.
It's a testament to a mature literary approach that takes seriousness and humor as complementary. The best humor often comes from a dark place, allowing us to face otherwise hard subjects with greater ease.
Contrast that with so much writing now that just forces "un-seriousness" for the sake of it with no sense of context or realistic balance. Definitely part of a larger American cultural shift, but I'm grateful we have had so many great works and a good portion of them thanks to Williams.
Your reaction to this had all the feels. Loved it. The Haunted Mask Goosebumps reference 👌. I'm 37 and this movie and Robin Williams were my childhood. Haha you getting excited over every moment was joy. 😀. Robin Williams brought so much happiness and laughter.
Great choice! But I've come to the conclusion that your videos are therapy!!! So, thank you again for another dose of laughter and joy!
This movie is already a comedy classic, top of the list. Your complete and utter joy watching it was very infectious.
One of the greatest honors in my life was getting to work with Robin Williams. He was such a gentle soul ❤
12:41 actually no. I've listened to the commentary on this movie. When he's doing the voices, they ran through a whole roll of film (about 10 minutes) and just let Robin Williams riff. She didn't even crack a smile. I think she might have broken after they called cut. Then during editing they weren't sure what to do with it because it was hilarious, but leaving the whole 10 minutes in killed the pace. They actually got the idea to do the jump cuts from the trailer. Several other scenes Chris Columbus would have them film it once as-scripted, then give Robin Williams and the other actors an hour to improvise.
This was a really great movie that meant something to me as a kid. My mom died when I was 7, and for a while I was kind of jealous and bitter when I was around families that were still together. But the message at the end about there being all kinds of different families, and love being the key. really helped me to feel better about my situation. For a little while, I watched this whenever I was sad about my life. It really did help a little bit along with all the other help I was getting from my dad and in therapy. Looking forward to what's next! ✌🤓
MILD SPOILERS FOR "GOOD MORNING VIETNAM":
"Good Morning Vietnam's" comedic bits did not age well. It's very referential comedy, and a lot of the jokes require that you know about pop culture from WAY before my time and probably yours. So a lot of the comedy just doesn't hit anymore. That's the problem with comedy based on what's popular at the time. Those references get old and eventually viewers don't get it anymore. I still recommend watching it, because it's still a good story and Robin WIlliams is always entertaining, but the comedy Isn't all that funny when you don't get 80% of it. Fortunately, from what I've seen, most of your viewers seem supportive and reasonable, so hopefully they'll understand that the humor is outdated. I was really shocked when another reactor was recommended "Good Morning Vietnam," didn't understand the jokes and thus had a very mixed opinion of the movie, and then the comments were FILLED with hate about respecting the classics, and being too dumb to get it, etc. Some people really need to adjust their attitudes. Some of the "classics" just don't hit with modern audiences. They're just too outdated to have the punch they used to for a variety of reasons.
Your reactions were so cute.
Another of my favorite Robin Williams movies is Bicentennial Man. Its highly underrated, but shows his comedic genius. As always, enjoyed your reaction.
Same, but also Patch Adams.
Love your reaction one of my favorite Robin Williams movies I remember watching it as a kid growing up childhood great memories write their rest in peace to this Legend Pierce Brosnan beating in it too he was always one of the best 007's funny thing about that is that's actually I got my name from a 80s TV show that he was on love the PlayStation light in the background I have the same one and you have a very beautiful smile❤ definitely subscribing
"The whole time? the whole time. THE WHOLE TIME!?!" will always be iconic, haha. so glad you loved it!
As Miranda mentioned, Sally Field did a phenomenal job delivering those lines. She captured all of the emotions in a very short time.
I saw this in the theater when it came out and had to remain sitting for a while after the ending.
There was no chance of reconciliation between my parents. But it was meant to be a part of my life. Even if I had the power to change one part of my past it would have a profound impact on my life today. It was necessary.
I was very lucky to watch most of Robin Williams' early success even before this movie and I truly thank God for that. I look forward to any more RW content you might add. The only way I can be sure to see it is if I hit subscribe and notifications. I'm sorry, but you're now stuck with me.
Take care, Miranda
I seen this movie so many times as a kid. It can speak to anyone, at any age, when you're ayoung kid, you like the slapstick humour most, when you're a teen, you learn about the fragility of a relationship, when an adult, the absolute lengths you will go to for your kids, the memory of your own father who you only realize now did so much more than you realize, and the universal truth, that no matter what, mom and dad will love you.
Edit: also I've turned nearly as hairy as Robin Williams now, so that's fun. haha
I just recently found your channel and I like what you're doing.
In terms of Robin Williams movies to react to I highly recommend the film 'The Birdcage'
"He broke the mold when he made me. Made me very special."
He sure as fuck did, Robin.
This movie came out when my parents got divorced and now looking back it probably really helped me through it. Loved your reaction!
I've seen this movie a million times and the more times I watch it, the harder I cry. I relate to this movie being a child of separated parents, though I ended up living with my dad and developing, along with my two brothers, a best friend relationship. Unfortunately our dad passed away in 2022, but his mark on my life is present every day. So thank you for this lovely reaction video to one of my absolute favourite movies which reminded me of him in all the best ways. ♥
An amazing reaction as always Miranda! 👍🏽🔥🔥
I’ve seen this movie at least 10 plus times it’s so good Robin is amazing as always
Robin Williams can turn on a dime. One minute you are laughing like crazy and the next you are nothing but tears. What a lovely man he was as well. I miss him so.
Not sure if you've seen Good Will Hunting, but it's one of Williams' best serious roles. He is absolutely perfect in it, and it's an amazing film.
That was a great reaction! Thank you!
From how much I see you loved this movie and from how perfectly it suits you when you laugh, I have a suggestion for another one you should watch … if you haven’t seen it already, that is - “Just Visiting”. I am positive you’d love it. All I can say about it without spoiling anything - it was a comedy that made me pause several times to make use of the bathroom from such laughter.
Thanks again for reacting to Mrs. Doubtfire. Looking forward to your next reaction.
Salutations from Romania …
Great reactions.. I have one for you its a good comedy from 1975 called
The adventure of Sherlock Holmes smarter brother
It means SO MUCH to see someone react to the movie that initially inspired me to start acting in such a genuine, emotional way. This reaction made me so incredibly happy, and was exactly what I needed today. Thank you. 🥲
And you're a theatre fan (assuming because you loved the references)? AND you're from Ohio? Can we be best friends?? 🥺🥺
I’ve always loved this movie. Every few years I find myself being in the mood to watch it again. I’ve seen it a good 8 times, probably.
Robin Williams is my #1 favorite comedic actor who ever lived, and Mrs. Doubtfire is one of my favorites of his movies.
Great reaction. It's a great comedy, but also a great family drama. It deals with tough but important issues in a hilarious and touching way that anyone can appreciate, but that even a kid as young as Maddie could understand.
Some Robin suggestions, if you haven’t seen them: Hook, Patch Adams, Aladdin, Good Morning Vietnam, Good Will Hunting- HIGHLY recommend… I’m sure there are more but they aren’t coming to me right now. I’m so glad you enjoyed this one!
Robin Williams won the Oscar for best supporting actor in 'Good Will Hunting', and nominated three times for Best Actor; 'Dead Poet's Society', 'Fisher King' and 'Good Morning, Vietnam'. Watch em all!
This is my first time on ur channel and wow what a fun watch! As a singer myself might I say u have a lovely singing voice! It's crazy how much of this movie related to ur life, but it was cool watching you connect with it and I'm glad u had such a fun experience with it. Also, if you don't mind me saying, you look alot like Bridgit Mendler
"Moscow on the Hudson" is a great early 80s RW's movie both set in Moscow (USSR) and NYC about a "transplant." It's a heartfelt, funny, sad, and poignant film for the time.
MOTH and The World According To Garp are two underrated Robin chestnuts!
Amazing reaction!! Thank you for this!!
If youve never seen Good Will Hunting, it is such a Robin Williams gem. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck directed the movie and it is amazing.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote it, Gus Van Sant directed it.
Gus Van Sant Directed Good Will Hunting but Matt and Ben wrote the movie. At the end of the movie when Robin says That son of a bi**h stole my line was ad libbed by him going off script. They loved that line so much and they kept it in the film
@agarven1 Thanks for the info. I knew they were somehow involved in the movie other than being in it.

@@MarkyMark8484 you’re welcome and no problem
You are a very unusual reactor. I was SO impressed when you started finishing the songs Robin Williams was singing when he was trying out different personalities. You knew all the words, then you mentioned voice lessons. I watch a lot of reactors, and they by and large are just people who don't know anything about older movies and are trying to make a buck on YT. Maybe you find this funny that I would be impressed with this, but your reaction just had the effect of intriguing me with your background and education. You're an interesting person. Made the reaction that much better. Really enjoyed! :)
This is probably my favorite Robin Williams movie. It runs the gamut from hilarious to heartbreaking. I know the ending is not what you expected, but I think it was real; Daniel and Miranda could not stay married, but they could become friends who happened to have kids. And they both can go ahead with their careers and ultimately their lives. So glad you enjoyed it.
As much as i love this movie, that ending always, always gets me!! 🥺😭 such a great reaction, Miranda! 😁
No matter how many times I see this movie, every time that ending with Mrs Doubtfire reads that letter, it always make me cry.
Its been so long since I've seen this movie, I had no idea that Sally Field was in this! Also I think that girl that plays Robin's daughter is Matilda.
I am amazed how many people never mention “Bicentennial Man” when we talk about Robin Williams movies. I am seriously bawling my eyes out at the end of that movie every. single. time.
I mean this in the best way possible: I love how easily excited you are! from the first note of the movie haha really enjoy watching you watch my childhood movies with this much glee
36:40 - you missed out my favourite Sally Fields moment! "This whole time?! This whole ti-- THE WHOLE TIME?!" 😂😂😂
Awesome reaction! But if you think this was good you should try Patch Adams 😮 enjoy 👌
39:41 - brings a tear to the eye when he says "bye, bye"...such a great loss to humanity was the legend of Robin Williams! I heard he used to hire homeless people as extras wherever he was filming and he helped out around 1,500 homeless people!
In this shitty day and age where everyone has something to say and gets offended by everything, this man had the most gentle soul and did nothing except spread joy throughout the world! If only he knew how much he was loved maybe he'd still be here...💔😢
I grew up watching this film and watching it grown up hits different too because you get and see things that you'd never see as a child watching it! My parents divorced when I was around 8 or 9 and it was a messy one! Even as young as I was I wanted them to separate because of the constant, and sometimes violent, arguing...
the fact that they don't get back together makes it much more realistic especially when he says...
"Oh, my dear Katie. You know, some parents, when they’re angry, they get along much better when they don’t live together. They don’t fight all the time, and they can become better people, and much better mummies and daddies for you. And sometimes they get back together. And sometimes they don’t, dear. And if they don’t, don’t blame yourself. Just because they don’t love each other anymore, doesn’t mean that they don’t love you. There are all sorts of different families, Katie. Some families have one mommy, some families have one daddy, or two families. And some children live with their uncle or aunt. Some live with their grandparents, and some children live with foster parents. And some live in separate homes, in separate neighborhoods, in different areas of the country - and they may not see each other for days, or weeks, months… even years at a time. But if there’s love, dear… those are the ties that bind, and you’ll have a family in your heart, forever. All my love to you, poppet, you’re going to be all right… bye-bye..." ❤❤❤❤
The Fisher King is a under rated Robin Williams movie that shows both sides of his much missed talent.
Omg absolutely!
AGREED! I really wish more reactors gave Fisher King (and Terry Gilliam movies in general) more attention.
Fisher King is fantastic
Speaking as a make-up director for my alma mater, those latex and foam masks are very hot to wear, and it's hell if you're claustrophobic. But if you've got the right artist and have no access to CGI. You can transform a person (safely) into someone or something else entirely unrecognizable. It's my favorite aspect of theater and theatre. My favorite effect to put on someone is bruises. The make-up palates for bruises and different injuries are so pretty and wide-ranging. Not to mention the person looking like they just went through hell to make the audience feel something. To me, that is what theater is. Telling a story of someone else through yourself ❤️
Please forgive the long post, I love you and your work. Keep it up!!
28:30 😆 YES! You recognized that song, great taste! The music in this movie is top notch and I love how you burst out into song as well it's like when I watched the movie Rat Race, my poor dad listening to me belting out the song when he was trying to watch the movie lol

This one came out shortly before my parents' divorce and as a kid this movie helped me cope with it a little better. No, they don't get back together and even though that made the ending bittersweet I'm so glad they went with Robin Williams' and Sally Field's advice and changed it to its current ending. Even though it hurts, it's much more real.
I find it wonderful that you and the younger generation have found some classics and are enjoying them as we did back in the day
1983 -The survivors
1984- Moscow on the Hudson
1987 -Good Morning Vietnam
1991 - Hook
1992 - Aladdin
1996 - Jack
1998 - Patch Adams
1999 - bicentennial Man
2006 - RV
2006 - Man of the year
Hey, a fellow Ohio resident! I used to live near Cleveland and graduated high school a little further south!
This movie was so great, I had it on VHS when I was younger. (Yes, I'm THAT old.) Nice to see someone love it as much as I did!😊
🔥
★ - *Bicentennial Man* (1999)
★ - *Hook* (1991)
★ - *Patch Adams* (1998)
Robin was a great actor. First watched him on the show Mork and Mindy. The scene with the whip cream falling into the coffee was an accidental ad lib that stayed in the movie. 😅😊
One of my favourite movies with Robin Williams. You should try Bicentennial Man.
If you enjoyed seeing Robin Williams as the host of a kids' show, you should totally watch Death to Smoochie. It's got a VERY different vibe, but it's got another Robin Williams take on childrens' television.
Hey Miranda, another great reaction...WOW! If you are looking for movies with Robin Williams, you HAVE to watch "The Birdcage"...soooooo good!
Another seriously good sleeper is the Steven Speilberg movie "Always" with Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, John Goodman and Audrey Hepburn!
I was 8 back in 1993....this film brings back simpler times.
I enjoy Robin Williams too. Here are some suggestions of lesser known RW movies but all are very good. 1) Bicentennial Man - A sci fi comedy/drama based on the writings of Issac Asimov. Very thought provoking and timely. 2) Awakenings - Drama based on a true story. Also stars Robert de Niro. 3) Noel - An excellent Christmas movie starring Susan Sarandon. Robin plays a critical part in the movie but for some reason his role is not credited. Also starring Penelope Cruz, Paul Walker, and Alan Arkin. Seemingly unrelated character crises prove to be interconnected resulting in an emotionally satisfying resolution. Penelope Cruz does a little dance that any heterosexual man on the planet would find irresistible.
Mrs. Doubtfire is Robin Williams at his finest! This was the first movie I saw more than once in theaters. After I saw it with my friend I dragged my mom to see it with me because she is a huge Robin Williams fan and I didn't want her to miss it in theaters.
A really good Robin Williams movie to check out would be Bicentennial Man. And also the movie Jack. Two of my favorite Robin Williams movies.
YESSSS, "JACK"! Gosh do I absolutely love that film so much!
For what it's worth, these are Robin Williams movies that are must see -
Aladdin, Good Will Hunting, The Birdcage and Good Morning Vietnam.
also Patch Adams, Bicentennial Man, and What Dreams May Come.
also jumanji
lol, you said Don't call me Shirley, ha ha ha! Yeah not Mrs. Doubtfire, but it's hilarious. Mrs. Doubtfire is one of my tippy top fave movies.
