    My Dad drove a Cat grader for 40 years after WW2 nothing more impressive than seeing him maneuver that beast with a V Plow on the front and wing on the side. Once again it’s a carnival 🎡 when Pete’s in the house 😎 thanks for the great content and trip back to my childhood in North Dakota. Blessings to you and yours sir 🙏

    Pete, they use motor graders to push snow in real areas up here, they also equipment them v-plows to break drifts!!! Take care stay healthy!!!

    Was a heavy equipment operator in the Army. One of the things I operated was the grader. Never has a pro at it. But I do miss it.

    I've been fascinated by motor graders since I was a kid. Up here in WV, when we have big heavy snows or blizzards, the state will run these down country roads. Just the power these things have is awesome!

    I was Charlie Company in the Seabees... a builder... I always asked my Alpha Company dogs if I could run the motor grader..... NOPE GET ON THE ROLLER DOPE!! :)

    Awesome job! I got hooked up with an asphalt milling company and overlaid my rock lot (about 2 acres) with the millings. We put some tar down on a hot day and rented a 2 ton roller and it’s almost like asphalt.

    Bet that was a fun project. My equipment operation is limited to a mini skid, but i had a blast on that thing moving some earth. Some of my favorite non lawn care videos to watch are people running excavators.

It is amazing watching talented men and women across this great nation that operate large equipment and see their talent at work. A good operator is hard to find.     Have you thought about using some of that space to store mulch, pine straw, gravel, sand, etc. in bulk to lower your supply costs? Cheers

    It looked on camera like that was all pitched toward the buildings. Might just be the way the camera was sitting. I know you had issues with water the other side from a past video. Like other people said look into putting fabric down if you do more rock. It can save you in the long run.

Here on Long Island we’re mostly glacial till, rocky as all get out and sandy. The guy who did my fence said he doesn’t take jobs in certain areas because it’s basically just hauling rocks!

      Man I just had 40x75 added to my parking lot. It was 9k for labor and gravel

      @@stevenbennett9785 is have to measure this area to see the squ ft. I can say that honestly I could have easily doubled the rock I used. I had to spread it 2” deep so it covered the area. I’ll get more rock this spring

      Na but what cracked me up is you stated it broke. Then proceeded to brake it in half. In the video of course it was rusty and old, but I couldn’t see that it was broken. So it makes it seem you broke the piece of garbage on purpose. It was hilarious.
      So in my email about coming to Missouri. That there piece of heavy equipment trumps anything I own. Lol.
