ill be buying more Bermuda seed from you for sure along with fert. I only got a 10lb bag this summer and it came up GREAT in drought conditions here in TX with minimal watering.God bless you and your family sir. You could also cut that bluegrass pretty short still and use it for golf practice (chipping)
This channel is great. You always have something going on. Can't wait for the golf sim videos. Pete there is plenty of land here in Upstate, NY cheap with good wells. You, your wife and a family come on up!! We got 2 PGA courses up here you can swing to your hearts content! 💪💪
You could have one of those shovel trucks meant for transplanting large trees to save the Cryptomeria and Maples. Not sure where you would plant them. It is a viable option!
What product should I put down on the Bermuda headed into sleepy season again? Want to pick that up from you! Thanks Pete! Can’t wait to see you guys stripe some fairways!
That is good news that your son wants to start a TH-cam channel. I be there to watch it as the father you did a great job raising them, but you must let them take the path they want to take but still be there to guide them. And teach them the word of God which is lacking this day. Your lawn looks great. Hope you will keep the fescue. Hope the rest of your family is doing well.
I am in the north, northwest and I often wonder why and how folks in the south survive mowing often in 100° f heat to grow Bermuda when they could enjoy the great indoors?
Hey Pete, my name is James Jackson . I live in New Jersey and I wanna change my yard over to Bermuda. I had a tree in front of my house. It fell down on it now fixed everything up right now. I’m kind of struggling and I don’t know too much you know about doing yards and stuff like that, but I’ve been watching some of your videos. I just wanna change. It would be newer and I think I get a good good feel of.
Hey Pete remember a while back you were going to have a giveaway if you reached a certain amount of subscribers this year? Are there any updates on that? Thanks! LOL I wasn't one of the people that wanted to see you change the main house to bermuda. Thank GOD you sold the farm so the yard stays.
@@SirWilliamClark I think Tif Tuf is in 3rd place, my Tahoma spreading very well for only 3 hours of sun, spreading at least 8 times faster than Monaco, Still very green but the first frost is tonight 28 low Ironcutter would be my 2nd choice
Pete, Congratulations on selling the farm, God has what you’re looking for already prepared for you and your family. He will lead you to your new property, be patient and keep the faith. Will you be using Bermuda seed or sod when you switch?
Pete, it's been about 15 days or so since I applied my first 1/2lb per 1000ft application of GCI 30-0-0. Is it a good time to apply again? Or, how often you recommend? Grass is still growing and looks like we have stretch of 3 of 4 days of extreme coldness coming next week in the 20°.
@GCITurf Oh. I thought it was recommended to apply to protect the grass.I was trying to protect my newly renovated yard. It's been only about a 2 months since it's been renovated with GCI TTTF.
@ if the turf is 2 months old it’s plenty established for winter. Just don’t apply fertilizer when it’s 20 degrees that won’t help or protect anything but it will waste your time and money.
Man. God is good. Always knows what you need. With THAT said, what should we be praying for? Maybe a golf course for sale that happens to have a house on it lol
just the fact that you would remove 4 mature cryptamerias and 2 mature maple trees for bermuda is too much for me. those trees are so valuable. far more valuable than berumda. I really hope you find some land and can do your dream home with bermuda cause it will absolutely break my heart to see you remove those huge beautiful trees!
Pete have you ever considered a fine fescue in the micro climate area. Whistling Straights PGA course has this in their rough area's. You can leave it naturally or you can mow it. It loves shade. When it matures, it looks shaggy!!!!
I've checked worth the local authorities and Bermuda isn't allowed in Northern ohio....no work/grow permits allowed. I'll have to live with my/your beautiful TTTF and KBG😢😂
I wish you continued success in whatever you or your family does. I’ve learned a lot from you over the years. I appreciate you, brother.
