He also created a time machine and brother eye with Mr terrific, built the son box which is more advanced than either mother or father boxes just to name a few of Batman's scientific feats. Unfortunately, none of the live action Batmen are very smart with the exception of probably the Adam West one (within the context of his universe of course). Keaton and Pattinson come close, but while I love Bale and Affleck, they're some of the dumbest Batmen ever (Bale forgot his keys and gets locked out of Wayne Manor for example and Batfleck, well..) I think if you want a depiction of Batman that's a super genius like he is in the comics it's definitely the Arkham games, Justice League animated series or the Brave and the Bold cartoon.

    • @mohamededbey
      @mohamededbey 2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

Even in the Arkham games, Batman isn't near as smart as he is in the comics (except for his detective prowess I guess 🤷‍♂).
As for scientific and technological intellectual prowess, only the Batman comics show how smart he truly is. I mean, show me the part or scene from any Batman movie, show, or game where Batman invents the son box, or a time machine, or the final batsuit, or inventing Brother Eye, or hacking and reverse engineering a freaking lantern ring, or hacking through Darkseid's planet computer system, freaking Darkseid!!!...... and the list goes on.

The fact is you're never too old to learn something new, it's just about practice, as well as how much time and energy you're willing to invest in learning. But I doubt anyone would reach Batman's level as he's unrealistic. But that said, I still enjoy some Batman from time to time.

Batman is just as unrealistic as Superman and Wonder Woman. Also, Supermans knowledge of Kryptonian science should be tens of thousands of years ahead of anything any human can possibly understand, no matter how smart they are. He's one of the coolest superheroes but claiming there is much that is even remotely realistic about him is ridiculous.

What's your take on gamers with this concept in mind. More specifically those of us who play 8 or more hours at a time (and speedrunners if you feel like it since they plug hours into specific games). I know some gamers that are only good at one or two games that have the same exact control setup and others, like myself, that can switch between different control schemes within a few seconds.
I'm really just curious how you think long periods of gaming (let's assume getting some exercise and eating mostly healthy) can affect the brain.

    • @mnArqal93

I think it's something like our brain prioritising something over other stuff, although it is pretty weird. History is probably something you enjoy more so the brain prioritises that over shopping.
That said, a lot of people I know struggle to remember their shopping, so perhaps it's something to do with quantity. Though I'm not entirely sure.

Batman learned to control every muscle, nerve, every single system in his body.
He has a method of sleep that causes a single hour of sleep to have the rest and recovery benefit as 8 full hours of restful sleep.
Thus he only sleeps a single hour.....every day of the year....for years and decades.
Plus... he is obsessed. Since he was a child, he only does "Batman stuff"... learning, developing new skills, learning new things, physical training.... all the time. He doesn't watch tv, he doesn't play video games, he doesn't go clubbing, he doesn't go to football games, he doen'st hang out wiht friends.
Imagine what you could accomplish if you focused 100% of your waking hours on one thing.
Elon Musk doesn't do that, Steve Jobs didn't do that, Socrates didn't do that.
      That's why he's Batman.

I believe that enough physical (without killing you) or severe emotional trauma can unlock a low key meta-state in humans, in the DC universe.
    Batman, Two-Face, Joker, etc.
Plenty of examples, but just a few people who survived what was thought to be unsurvivable (Joker repeatedly, and not so much Two-Face but the shock of acid to the face could have killed Harvey). And it's no Captain America levels of super strength, but an increase in stamina, tolerence for pain, healing factor enough to come back from (and able to tolerate the pain that comes along with) being thrown through a few walls, sharper senses/focus
The argument can be made that he trained to attain all these, and I will agree, but I think anyone of us could do the same thing as Bruce Wayne and not get anywhere near as much out of it as our Batman compared to his because he's a form of low-key meta human (triggred from the pain of loss feeding an already extreme feeling of guilt)

According to the first (and best) superman movie he was taught everything about " ... the 15 known galaxies .... " in the Fortress of Solitude. The Batman can't even learn all known about just the Milky Way. However The Batman was inspired by the DaVinci wing suit so I would give him his estmated IQ of 200+ which is flush with the theoretical Homo sapient species genetic limit of 208. ( I know you have seen higher scores online but those are unadjusted for Standard Deviation) Between the two I think this alien crystal-based humanoid we call superman is the more intelligent. Remember even Lex Luthor was no mental match for him. Luthor once said of his main henchman, " we're both 200 - his weight and my IQ."
