It's kinda poetic really, he mentioned people underestimated her, then went on to underestimate her and torment her because of her lack of hearing. And that's what fucked him up in the end, because she used that one thing he was holding over her this whole time to defeat him. She utilized the fact that the rest of her senses are naturally heightened to defend herself, and attacked him by overwhelming his senses.
I'm seriously impressed with the whole concept, not to mention the underlying message. Props to the people that wrote this.

Stephanie is such a good storyteller in conveying suspense, because whenever it mentioned Maddie getting in near death situations with the serial killer, or like that moment with John nearly killing the serial killer before becoming distracted by her and ESPECIALLY the last fight with the killer was so heart stopping to me. I haven’t watched the movie yet but if it’s as intense as Stephanie told it, I would be jumping out of seat from how stressed I will be LMAOO
(I LOVE YOUR PROFILE PICTURE AH) agreed !! i was listening to the podcast while just sat on my bed, and usually i have absolutely no attention span but i was so hooked. i did come to the video a few minutes til the end for some *emotional support* because i had to pause the podcast and panic when she said the serial killer broke the window behind her. i literally took a walk around my room and *then* began watching the video. she’s so good, it feels like im actually reading the book or watching the movie when she explains it !!

first time I've actually seen the movie before watching your video! You did a great job explaining it! I saw this movie when it came out and I think its one of the best suspense thrillers in a very long time. I'm a little biased because I love home invasion movies but peoples biggest complaint about them is that they are all the same and I feel this movie did an amazing job of changing things up in a very beautiful and cineamatic way.

Just wanted to say I absolutely love these baking a mystery videos!! Stephanie's storytelling is so captivating and I love listening to her. The thing is, I get easily scared - especially from visuals - and then my mind would play tricks on me and give me nightmares or make me scared at night, so that I can't sleep and that's why I usually don't watch these kind of movies. They're super interesting though and I wish I could stomach them but now thanks to baking a mystery, I can enjoy all these thrilling stories without getting freaked out about it. So thanks a lot Steph!!
A good idea, why don’t you do old movies, there’s some good old mystery movies, and your audience probably haven’t seen them and probably wouldn’t watch them , you could retell them and show them how good they are 😊

Loved this movie! I watched it the first time with my friends then the second time with my family.
This is the very first psychological thriller movie that I've ever watched.
So I'm very proud of myself after watching it and recommended to watch it again with my family and they loved it too.
