I agree with you. There should have been PVE versions of this for sure, I’m sure something like this is coming. I actually think for the most part the contested zones are a PVE thing. It’s only been a handful of times I’ve ran into players. I know plenty of people who have completed this solo and also when we collected the ship in this video no other players even turned up. I’m not discounting your point though. You’re right.

Feel free to join our community discord. We’re a mostly chill group who are up for anything. Not PVP sweats but just started teaming up to do contested zone stuff. I did most of the contested zones solo just picking the right times etc.
Due to MMs and ship profile, the F8 has been gimped and handling is too sub par. Sure, it's not a light/med fighter, but its profile and use-case should lend itself to have much better handling than it inherited from MMs. Prior to MMs it was a dream to fly/fight with.
I agree. Things a big heavy tank now. The video was more about CIG moving to reward players for in game activity. Which in my opinion should be cheered. Obviously a long road to go to keep everyone happy but I’ve had fun attempting to get them. Thanks for the comment dude.
@citizenspooner that's great if you are into pvp does nothing for the majority of players. Seems to reward only one style of play. Guess cig doesn't care about the rest of us players. Otherwise, they would have put in a system that allowed all players to be rewarded. More forced pvp for orgs yay
@@sirbalendor5600it’s really not hard to pvp and quite fun even, being solo you can take down a few players you just have to play smart tbh if this game didn’t have pvp I don’t think I would’ve even gotten it

Or that one group of players should be rewarded with an f8 lightning while not having a solo mission loop that gets the same reward. Cig claims they want it to be fair for all. But this proves the lie.they reward pvp over solo or small group play consistently. Not everyone has the time to wait for 4 to 6 other players to join in and run the contested zones for hour after hour at a time. Real life comes first.
I understand your frustration bud. I’m primarily a PvE player. I literally just started gathering people to help with these zones. I did most of them solo and maybe with one friend. I just started a discord for like minded people and now we have a decent little community of people just wanting to hang out and have fun. I’m still a PVE player at heart but these have turned out quite fun. There is no risk really. You don’t lose anything. Just go in with flight suit and see what you can do. I’ve probably played 60 hours of CZ and met players a handful of times. It’s mostly NPC. Give it a go mate. Or join our discord and come with us.

I´m not happy with giving ships as ingame rewards. Components, weapons, etc. OK ... but ships worth several hundrets of dollars should be earnable or craftable ingame with much more "work involved". Else, big orgs will farm those ships endlessly and flood the whole verse with those.
That’s one way to see it. Obviously these will be wiped at some point and they will be able to figure it out eventually. I’m glad I have ships I own and will always have. And I also like working for ships in game. Not too dissimilar to earning the money to buy the ships with auec. If it takes 50 hours of grinding money to buy the ship with auec or 50 hours of contested zones. Is there a difference?
@@citizenspooner officials at issue council has a skill in giving me a hard time to explain to them the intricacy of dealing with a proprietary game engine (StarEngine) as opposed to an industry standard (CryEngine). When my PC was built to spec, it was for CryEngine. Then they had to change because things went sour with CryTek GmBH. Further, their method of fault verification is dubious so I have no faith at all when they claim anything fixed. Just have a look at their own history. Old bugs keep surfacing as if someone is literally sabotaging the project.
