I have to say for someone who’s 1st language isn’t English, you did an insanely brilliant job in creating an epically entertaining English X4 video. Very well done my man. Definately earned a like and a new sub. 👍
It really depends on your playstyle if it becomes a flight simulator, a rts or a spreadsheet simulator. That's what makes it so great. You can build your own empire, but you don't have to. If you prefer a small fleet with a hand full of ships, that works as well. It's just a sandbox universe, that could also do on it's own, although not as good as the factions could do if you supply them with goods.
Eh. Spreadsheet simulator would be something more akin to playing Factorio while accounting for all ratios possible or playing with mods. This is more fun as you just plaster a factory and do something else in the meantime.
I just looked up X4 on Steam, and not surprisingly at all, it was produced by a German studio. The difficulty and unabashed Microsoft Excel-osity of the game makes sense now. Also, your English is wonderful and you're very easy to understand, I say keep them rolling if that's what direction you want to go in. The English speaking demographic is probably TH-cam's largest, so it should increase your traction for sure.

The reason Vigor couldn't rebuild their fleet was because the invasion route cut them off from the Riptide Rakers, which is where their insanely efficient scrap economy comes from. You have to do that before you can win that war of attrition (otherwise they quickly turn your wrecks into more fighters). Well done!
Really nice video, enjoyed it whole. I have in game 424h myself and it is really love hate relationship :D, however i have to say, im playing it since 3.0 on and off, and game improved enormously since than... Regarding that invisible station module, it is not like it is invisible, it was being constructed just at low percentage, so it had just a couple of "pixels" visible as things are being materialized. And once all modules are destroyed, build storage becomes available to destroy and than u can permanently stop that specific station from rebuilding.
00:41: i would not say its fundamentally floods; yes, the collisions are a bit buggy and the interface is a bit complex, but well, u have to get the information and options on the screen somehow...my problem with the game (400h in) is, that everything takes too long. From building a station, to traveling, or simply the mission "get a magnet stone" like, ye now I'm busy flying around for at least an hour. Just speed up the pacing or make the missions shorter. i have to work, i don't have time to play 4 h each day...

This video convinced me of buying this game 1 month ago when there was a deal on all DLC on GOG and I am 51 hours in and nowhere near where you are. The amount of effort that went into this video is amazing and made another X4 addict. Also, I vowed to not do piracy, which I technically followed through if you don't count EMP bombing for blueprints as piracy... Goddamit why do the Habitation Modules cost so much? Let me just park right here while I download the blueprints and done!
A really entertaining video over a game I've struggled to even grasp any sort of intrigue into. For a first video in English you've done an amazing job in not just your subtitles on screen but also your pronunciation. If you make more future videos in English where you roleplay as other factions it would be super awesome to see! Keep it up man!
This is well done! I laugh becuase I see a lot of my own gameplay in yours. Especially the struggles. Tip: Your space suit has a tiny, accurate laser gun you can switch to. You can use that to open containers in the future. :P

Great video, I laughed a lot watching it. Once you get the hang of the game, most of the things that took you hours to do will be done much more quickly.
how to get asgards: Gain access to the moon area of the terran space, get a L Freighter full of marines. get to the Moon sector. (There's always 1 asgard patrolling there.) Get far enough so that you can reach maximum cruise speed toward the asguard. Cruise to that your L freigher passes JUST beneath the asgard ship, as it pass under, pause the game, select the asgard, BOARD. the marine pods will spawn all around you and you're so close to the asgard ship they won't suffer many losses. go away, wait. (Of course, need to set all the boarding settings to the max). Might need a 2nd pass, but otherwise, it's a cheesy way to gain a free asgard
This is an incredible narritive you have put together! Great editing too! Really made me want to play the game but every time you mentioned 5 hours here, 8 hours there etc etc just to get anything done was a good detereant
4:11 This is why I and others use a mod called "Better Piracy" which helps with both bails on small and medium ships and boarding large and XL ships. And honestly if you plan future illegal runs in X4 I would highly recommend it. 40:50 So I actually did a recycle economy at one point. The gimmick is that its VERY resource efficient as you are just reusing scrap. This could be from various scrap fields in sectors or could be from sites of recent battles. The only downside is that it only really produces Claytronics and Hullparts as end products and uses a LOT of energy cells, as in a perfect ratio set up requires 44 of panels to produce the right of amount of cells. But since most stations and ships need these two plus energy cells, it actually saves you from needing to source the gas and such for these supplies.
Recycling is only really efficient in a couple sectors, most of which being Avarice. Closed-Loop does give you access to Argon equipment with only hull-part requirements, and more usefully makes missiles hilariously efficient to build. You can essentially create anti-Cap defense platforms that resupply themselves using a couple solar panels.
I’m gonna move forward with other games, I don’t want to make this channel only about x4 or space games) But I believe there will be more content about x4 in future!
Eh not every storyline is unrewarding, you get a player base and a free ship in the main game one at least :P My least favorite thing in X4 is the endless spawning of enemy hideouts in friendly sectors like all of a sudden I'll lose like 5 mining ships back to back like bruh even with my own sector security too. You can blow up the enemy hideout but guess what another one will be there in no time......
Damn, this game just looks so good . I have it in my steam library for little bit longer than 2 years now. I just bought it at a sale. BUT I am 32 years now , I just can’t find the motivation to get me into such a complex game . Even though it seems like it would be definitely worth it
