Through out history Privateers and Pirates don't attack ships of the line, they find lightly defended slow ships. While I agree about pad rammers ect and think these should be banned, when it comes to seal clubbing you just want a way to opt out not a "fair" game. Also we have fulltime jobs too that's such a dumb hollow argument especially for a game with the average investment sc does. Maybe try a different game, this team based, hardcore simulation doesn't seem the average pver's pace been saying it for years, its first person eve.

A lot of people are advocating the idea here that Factions need to be Factions and clearly defined. There should indeed be faction security EVEN in lawless space. They need to gear the outlaw gameplay loops to advocate against murderhobo'ing. Except where appropriate such as: 1. Guild War Declarations - And no I DO NOT MEAN like Eve. Eve is a fuckup of a system that does not work and invalidates high security zones all together. I mean two organizations agree to go to war with each other and BOTH orgs have to agree to it, then and only then will high sec forces ignore them as appropriate. War Declarations SHOULD NOT BE FORCED! That is the fuckup that is Eve, and an exploit people used ALL THE TIME! 2. Piracy is a gameplay loop that can be great, but it should be a "For Profit" gameplay loop and should NOT condone murderhoboism. But rather in fact condone Piracy tactics, such as: Give me money or you lose your ship, your cargo and your life. (Again this should be as you said reputation based where people have to grind the Piracy reputation system to unlock access to spcific gameplay loops. 3. Cross faction bounty hunting reputation system - This means that bounty hunters can cross factional borders to hunt specific faction allighed targets through a reputation system that allows bounty hunters to cross faction lines as friendlies and NOT red = dead targets. 4. Factional boundries should be observed - That is to say if you are UEE and you go to Pyro, you are red to everyone, if an outlaw goes to UEE territory they are red to everyone. Easy, simple, clear and concise. You enter those zones at your own risk. PERIOD. Do it solo, or with friends it does not matter. 5. There SHOULD be a prison system for Pyro and/or lawless zones enforced by a Lore specific Neutral NPC faction such as whoever is in charge of Pyro, the uphold the law in lawless zones, much like UEE security forces do in UEE zones. (OR have the vanduul enforce it in these systems?) 6. PVP Flag System - If people want to flag for PVP, then flag for PVP and you are red in all zones regardless of faction. If PVE'er say a cargo hauler expects to go to Pyro and not be flagged PVP in their territory as a UEE player, guess what, you enter that zone at your own risk, and you are red to them just as much as their cargo haulers would be red to you in UEE space. 7. PVP specific zones are zones where lawless is truly lawless, and only the playerbase can police such zones as necessary. Everyone becomes flagged for PVP regardless if they want to be or not. 8. Lastly content should NOT be locked behind specifically lawless PVP zones. This is an open invitation to grief, and control resources against any and all other players. There should be PVE equivalency content where these resources can be acquired outside of PVP. Everyone risks to get the reward evenly, but you shouldn't lock out one faction over another or one type of player over another to acquire a certain level of rewards. Now I'm ok with locking specific one of a kind premium loot behind specific lawless PVP zones as long as it does not gain a faction, or person a significant gear differential over most people. For example: You can lock premium crafting resources in these zones to craft something that is 99% quality, but for people who don't want to go that far to get it: They can make due with 98% quality crafted items and be equally as competitive.

So if player1 interreacts with the asop terminal, but doesn't click on claim to allow player2 to get the ship, player 2 can use the asop terminal and click on Claim to receive the ship, is that correct?

I am with you, completely. There are so many nice ways for PVP or ways to just put some fun and risk into the game. Be it a "Passage fee" from an PVP-Orga to get through an area safely, advanced boarding of Vessels with cargo or even completely warfare between orgas. But sadly, most people I met just wanted a fast kill or a shredded Ship without anything else. Just for the "fun" of destroying something. No concept, no enrichment for the game, nothing. One thing that could make a difference would be the integration of an easier communication-systhem. A way to get contact to the player whos ship another player wants to board and plunder, or to inform somebody that "One step more (without payment) would be a bad idea." - or anything like that. A way to connect PVP with some kind of Background. If nothing like this gets implemented, many people will keep griefing and think they do PVP. A way to show them how great and funny it can be to connect it with more than just an explosion would be e really great step forward.

How many red cards will I need to get all 7?

I´m not happy with giving ships as ingame rewards. Components, weapons, etc. OK ... but ships worth several hundrets of dollars should be earnable or craftable ingame with much more "work involved". Else, big orgs will farm those ships endlessly and flood the whole verse with those.

Due to MMs and ship profile, the F8 has been gimped and handling is too sub par. Sure, it's not a light/med fighter, but its profile and use-case should lend itself to have much better handling than it inherited from MMs. Prior to MMs it was a dream to fly/fight with.

The problem with the "get good!" argument is that some of us work for a living, and some of us have lives. We don't want to spend every waking hour practicing, learning all the tactics, all the metas, all the exploits, and everything we need to survive against other PVP players. It's like facing Manchester United every time we go to the park for a quick game of five-aside, and when we lose, we're told we have to either accept it or become professional football players. Having lawless areas where PVP can happen is fine, and I'd even be in favour of that, so long as we have enough information to make the decision whether to go there or not. Open PVP is fine so long as there are ways to avoid it. What I don't want is the whole game to just be Fortnite in space.

The F8C is pretty much useless since the nerf. You’re just going to get danced on by anyone even half competent in a gladius, arrow, or F7A.

PvP community make up 80% of the players? No idea where you get that gem from. Calling them PvP and PvE communities is not only Avenger one levels of cringe but also wrong. The way the game ( a term I use very loosely) is atm it’s all PvP whether that’s your intention when you log in or not. SC has gotten progressively worse, because a certain fat man can’t make his mind up.

Sniping isn't for everyone. It's not my play style. But dont get discouraged. If you enjoy it, then keep trying!

I agree mostly A1 knows his stuff and is one of the top pvp copntent creators. We all have our issues with SC and sometimes we need to vent which is fine. However the camping of a gate to get your 'fun' is toxic behaviour to the game but you will always get that when you have PVP with zero consequences. CIG need to implement some system that makes griefing and toxic pvp less desirable. I don't know much abou the supposed rep system that they want to implement but it might be a start. Toxic gamepley is already gatekeeping Pyro for many peeople and it will onyl get worse as more players can join the same servers/shards.

AV1 is cringe, but also u saying that a mid life man on a full job cannot gather with friends to play together is an excuse to keep bitching about it. join an org, make new friends.

Camping a gate is not gameplay. It's griefing. This is why your invisible in Eve Online when you exit a jump gate. If A1 spends his entire life doing this, what kind of life is that? The excuse of "I told CIG this would happen" Because you are literally a self fulling prophecy is asinine.

PVP and PVE players environment should not be mixed. SC Should be more CoOp by default with option of PVP when players agree or factions disputes or specific bounty missions or specific systems. Pyro should be PVP by default and Stanton PVP should not be allowed, only NPC enemies

A tool will always be a tool. And come up with 1K reasons why their way is 'right'.
