Love the honesty around the disease bent/fescue lawns can cause, this video will help lots of people understand this. One other downside of this lawn type is the lack of deep green colour. Your lawn is looking good with the sun on its back to be fair 👍🏼
Cheers 👍🏻 It's definitely something I thought could be a problem when I first opted for bent/fescue, but I guess catching it early seems to get rid of it fast. And I was surprised with the colour to be honest, thought it would be much lighter. I imagine if there was rye next to it, it would look considerably lighter though.
There's one way to get me to instantly click a video: showing your dog in it. Great video again. Having the same issues with my front lawn recently. Will try your recommendations 🤞
Ara you sure you are not a professional gardener. Your knowledge is excellent. I went to college to learn all this but i still use your videos for help. Thank you 🙏
It's a Marolex sprayer. It's decent, but just a bit pricey. I was swayed to this one with the tank being more appropriate for what I need. I definitely don't need the 16L which most of them are! 😅
Hi found the channel a few weeks ago and watched loads of vids. Good content thanks. Can you recommend a decent lawn mower that isnt too expensive i like your hayter one but its well out the budget thanks
Cheers 👍🏻 I still use the Bosch Easy Rotak 36-550 I picked up a couple of years back. It’s £280 on Homebase’s website now. Pricey still, but it’s cracking. Good price with the battery too 👍🏻
Just when it's needed. Through winter is best with the grass blades staying wet for long periods. But through summer, I'd only apply it when something like this happens or if you need a green up for whatever reason.
That lawnmower is outrageous 👍🏼
Overkill for this space, but it's boss! 😅
Now there's a man who takes cutting grass seriously! You'd probably be better off with a vintage Suffolk 14 Super Punch. Great little petrol mower

Nice one! 👍🏻
He’s enjoyed his increased airtime recently! 🤣
Great vid as always👌 is that a new sprayer??
Cheers 👍🏻
Yep, it's the 7L Marolex. The capacity is definitely better than my old one for the size of my lawns.

Appreciate that 👍🏻
Great advice. What sprayer are you using in the video?
Cheers, it's the 7L Marolex sprayer
is that your garage with the rising damp?
Looks like you have a new sprayer, where was this from looks like a decent one?

@NoviceGardener thanks appreciate you're reply. All the best
So can you use liquid iron on any lawn disease...red thread.. brown patch etc
Yep, it's all about drying out the grass blades. The disease thrives in a moist environment
How often would you recommend applying iron to the lawn?
AFAIK you shouldn't apply too often each season. Worms don't like it & you want worms for good soil biology.
Just when it's needed. Through winter is best with the grass blades staying wet for long periods. But through summer, I'd only apply it when something like this happens or if you need a green up for whatever reason.
How long should you leave it on before cutting
After about 3 days, you'll be fine.
