I knw for a fact that shell fuels are cleaner, barring Shell amoung the Indian Petroleum companies whch one wuld be the better choice, Please ignore Reliance from the list as their gas stations are always out of stock🤣
Always doing the same as you recommended in the video. Sticking to regular fuel the manufacturer recommended. I drive a Ciaz and always use regular BP or Indian Oil Diesel. Not even Shell. Don't find any difference in quality between PSU fuels and Shell fuels to justify the premium.
Because the the regular fuels which shell uses is the same as the regular fuels in hp, Indian oil, bpc etc 😂😅. In the shell v power etc, shell uses their own addiction and chemicals into it. Likewise for speed, power etc.
That’s because your car runs at a relatively low compression ratio 10.1:1 whereas bikes like the KTM Dukes run on a higher compression ratio 12.5:1-12.6:1(for Duke 250 & 390). Also one of the main reason riders like me choose Shell is because I personally trust them. I try to avoid IOC, because the moment you enter the Petrol pump they try to loot you by distracting you away from the fuel readings(not starting from zero), I’ve toured thousands of kms now & whenever I fill IOC Petrol my bike runs harsh & I had an instance wherein at around 8000rpm there was a momentary loss of power just because of IOC Petrol & after the fuel was all used up my bike was back to normal.
@@crazybikinifighter I know of a IOC pump near KR Puram going towards Phoenix Market City in Bengaluru that tried to resort to the trick you mentioned, saying he had to restart the fuel pump because there was power failure. Hi my bike has 12:1 compression ratio. Bike manual suggest 91 octane. Which fuel can i use. Kindly suggest. For now iam using HP 95
Is bio Diesel good for car ? Any disadvantage?
I own a Kawasaki Z900. Which fuel would you recommend ? Normal fuel or an high octane one like Power etc
Another day another myth get busted .shumi you are a good teacher i am learning a lot from you. How i can keep my bike in good condition for long time .🥲🥲🥲🤗🤗🤗👍.Great work .
Should I fill normal or XP95 premium petrol for my pulsar 150 bs6?
Please talk about anti puncture sealant.
Do they really work is it worth investing?
R15 compression ratio is 11.6 : 1...... so does it need min 96 octane fuel?
Nope. It’s in your manual!
Ethanol discussion is requested and full version. 👍🙏
KTMs recommend 95 RON/Z in the owners manual
but which fuel pump has 95.octane available?
Your only option is xp95 petrol from Indian Oil pumps but that too not all IOC pumps have it. You have to do research on the IOC pumps which have xp95 stock and if travelling on highways you need to plan it accordingly where IOC pumps situated
Hi is it fine turning off and turning on ignition of vehicle in every signal?
Can you discuss about fuel maintenance in FI motorcycle?
This Video clear about fundamentals.....Good One!
Thanks for the detailed video on octane. Request you to make a video on after market Air Filters (K&N filters) especially with context to our sub-continent and multiple weather/terrain/humidity (costal vs High altitude (Himalaya's) vs interior central India (dry) vs Desert parts vs Highly polluted cities (Delhi, Bangalore etc.)) does it make any difference !!
Hey shumi sir, can u suggest which manufacturer offer the cleanest fuel in India. I knw for a fact that shell fuels are cleaner, barring Shell amoung the Indian Petroleum companies whch one wuld be the better choice, Please ignore Reliance from the list as their gas stations are always out of stock🤣
Very well explain 😀
GOI already have done price booster n hence rider burns wallet faster thn petrol combustion.
Nice video shumi sir
Funny because I pay 10 rs premium for fuel here in Bengal when compared to certain other states. But damn GOI.
Haha!
tell about ducati bikes reliability, are they so costly to maintain and gives problems compared to brands like triumph and kawasaki?
What type of fuel we can use in superbike like ninja h2 Or bmw s1000 r Or honda fireblade , if higher octane fuel r not available in my city
Almost every modern vehicle will run on regular gas. It might not perform the absolute best on it though.
Do video about chain lube, chain cleaning and chain maintenance.
What is XP95? Is normal IOCL fule lesser than 95 octane?
I refused to pay up, saying he should have told me before re-setting to Zero as he claimed. And he didn't press further. However, most of the IOC pumps I use don't do any sort of trickery or cheating, and happy with the quality of fuel too - diesel for my car and petrol for my scooter. Sorry to hear about your negative experience.
How much octane is good for Honda City Petrol 2015 model?
I have a doubt! Can anyone help please
Using 95 octane in a 1.2 Naturally aspirated engine it does not give any boost performance but will it affect the engine parts by burning very fast making detonation.???
I am glad you started this series. Helps a lot
I would like to see a video on Spark plugs: Iridium plugs or the stock which manufacturer's give
I have a doubt, which octane rating is good for Gixxer sf 250?
What if the bike requires 95 ron n I use 91 Ron which available in india everywhere. What would be the effect of that on engine???
It’ll run a little bit worse. Most modern machines have knock sensors to handle poor/low octane fuels
@@shu_mar yes....knocking i had experienced in ghat sections.....then I have to use octon boosters.....the other theory says that high octon leave a layer on throatal body, fuel injector etc....how true is that?
If the bike is not in use****
Is XP95 from indian oil ideal for small capacity BS6 turbo (1.0 or 1.2) engines that r sold in India?
Check your manual!
