3 years ago i read your book “The 5 second rule” i had a believe that i was a procrastinator however ur book changed my mind and realised i was using as stress relief.
I have been using 5 second rule since that time, i recommend all the people who will see my comment to read the book.

I overcame procrastination by joe dispenza’s meditations, specially the “blessing of the energy centers” i noticed the more my third chakra got activated the more i automatically got things done. And the more i raised my vibration the less i procrastinated.
For me nothing else worked except for this.

Possibly reading about internal family systems (IFS) therapy could help you. You visualise the different conflicting desires as different parts of yourself, and let them all have their say fully in a kind of mental conference. Then you let the parts compromise and make quid pro quo promises to each other. It's pretty useful

Good morning. My name is Alissa. I really enjoy watching and listening to you, Mel. I came across you by accident really. I was looking mostly on overcoming anxiety. Which were fantastic to listen to by the way. You’re like my “hype woman”. 😊I also seen you talk a lot about money issues that many of us stumble across. I’m probably on the lower end of your clientele or fan base. I work paycheck to paycheck in medical office. I don’t own a business, although that would be amazing. I have 2 children that mean everything to me, after bills are paid, I literally have nothing left. I want to be able to provide a life for my children. The struggle is so bad, I cry everyday. Where does someone like me who has $30 in their pocket after just trying to live start? I have extreme depression and anxiety. I have hit my rock bottom. When you’re a day away from losing everything , everyday, where do you start?

I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD at 41! I end up depressed a LOT. I always feel stuck, bored, a failure and unable to be successful (like I believe I could be). It's so frustrating. I get 1 really good week every 6 months and it's like I've 'woken up'; I get everything done, exercise, feel great and awake and superhuman....then go back to surviving but ultimately not being happy.

⭐️ *5 Powerful Ways To Become Your Best Self:*
    1. Try new things.
You can’t let yourself become complacent. Surprise yourself by pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. Doing so will give your ingenuity and innovative side a boost. Plus, you will have discovered something new about yourself -- perhaps a hidden talent or an ability to learn something you didn’t think you were capable of.
    2. Pursue your dreams.
Most people on their deathbeds say their biggest regret was not living their life to the fullest and actually pursuing their dreams… Instead, most of them lived a life pursuing other peoples dreams (like their parents) and never end up being their own authentic self… Don’t wait until you’re on your deathbeds. Do it now.
    3. Sustain your motivation.
We all have days when we wake up just not feeling it. Those days when our brains won’t get going - we’d rather do anything besides working. But despite being low on energy or inspiration, you have to find a way to keep moving forward. Remember, progress is incremental. You have to find ways to keep that fire in your belly; to keep nurturing that deep desire to achieve.
    4. Create good habits.
Habits shape our life. But remember when developing a habit it takes time and repetition, and should be done slowly. Trying to change too many things at once will feel overwhelming and daunting. The goal is to make incremental changes to your lifestyle that eventually become a way of life. Remember that even small habits can have a powerful cumulative effect.
    5. Focus on self-care.
Never spread yourself too thin. Many times we focus too much on filling other peoples cups that we forget to fill our own… Don’t forget, you can’t be the best for others if you can’t be the best for yourself.
If you’ve read this far and resonate with this post… Save it to remind yourself everyday and give it a thumbs up so others can see it and apply it as well!
    - Just an Alchemist, sending you lots of love 💜

I really do love you admit your own trouble with procrastination. I mean we aren't and can't always be perfect and likely also do old stuff what is no shame. I do feel it's good to be honest and aware of your habits and also aware of not needing to be all the time productive.
I don't think that waking up early extra to be productive is a standard rule. I mean you need to be fit to be effective and we don't sleep regularly a particular of hours. The body chooses how much it needs.
Pushing yourself is also not a clever strategy as you have different ways of working. There I prefer to have a list and do baby steps working it through.
I do feel your advice can be helpful but they aren't meant for everyone. Success comes in different ways.

Wish I could ask you, what about trying to launch a handmade business with a 6mo old and a husband working 45 hrs a week and me still working atleast one night at resturaunts to make ends meet (stuck in Hawaii, yes yes "paradise " but expensive and leaving for atleast another 3 years isn't possible). How do I get those 10hrs, and how do I keep believing all the time and money thrown into this for years on and off now, is even worth still working on, more or less will ever happen when I'm so burnt out. • @jacqw4695

When we put off doing something we need to do in order to have the life we want, we acknowledge we must be stressed about something, count 5..4..3..2..1.. (interrupt the habit of avoiding) and do the work, just for 5 minutes. Most of us will continue to work! I’ve been putting off something that will pay me a nice bit of cash. I’ve made it into a freaking MONSTER! (Just an insurance claim). They just want a list. How long have I put it off? Almost a year! WTH!
Please God, I hope it works. Here I go-5 minutes of filing this ‘monster.’
This may be the MAGIC WAND I’ve been looking for! Love your work Mel, God bless the work of your hands and thank you for providing access to this info- free!

why do you create a video with clips where Mel keeps repeating the same thing that is 1,5 h long? a 5 min video of one clip would have been wonderful and helpful enough

At 4 I suffered a mental break down a girl n I were at my home swimming in my little play pool a neighbor harry browning leaned over the fence said he would light of fire work if we let him over. I said no the other girl Vicki wanted him I didn't. He wanted to use my bathroom I said use ur own Vicki said take him I did he was pervert n I knew he was doñing wrong Vicki was at the door he pulled her in n I went out he had sent me to get her but she was there. I knew but I was scared I opened the door saw him raping her he told her to tell me it was fun I ran to get my dad he jumped up ran after me I was screaming daddy my dad went after him. We went to court. I got blamed. No matter what my emotions were never freeed from that. I wanted someone to say u did the right thing. But I always felt it was my fault. At 19 I was hit by a drunk driver at 100 mph at 64 I get hit again by a drunk. I want to be dead my pain is overwhelming n I feel that same voice telling me it's all my fault. I know life is not my fault. But at 69 and this monster who hates me n loves to embarrass me holds me in fear. I want death I had it's hurt me with lies here is 1 I got a thank you letter for paying them 5 million dollars. My bank tells me to call companies who r taking from my account when they say they don't know me I ask why r they taking my money they say they have no record of it. I'm targeted. And I know it cops lie about me everyone who has evil power sees me n uses me to my harm I hope ur insight for me may give me a insight not to hate me but stand me up n move me to win instead of falter n agree I'm a looser. I have been beaten raped an left for dead. I'm bitter. The bank stole from me I can prove it all. Want to play with me and help me win. I'm not the drunk who ran the light I'm not the rapest I'm not the abuser but I am made to feel like the reason everyone did this to me it's my fault. Why do I have to be blamed. Death removes me from their blame. Do you know you can't fight back. It's against the law. My body has pain I all my life am told shut up shut up please God. Gathering of developers let me die I u r not going to heal me kill me please show me love I want to know it's more then a empty wor. Hate I know it's feeling but love kindness freedom to do good things. Being a goodie two shoes is a sinful crime
