Nips, toes, sweat... most judgmental, superficial comments. Thank you so much Mel for actually being authentic. Clearly we need way more of it in this world.

That’s absolutely nothing to worry about, Mel looked fine, I’m glad she didn’t give a shit. Mel’s comfortable in her own skin , and I’d like a body like hers. Open toes shoes, are they kidding ? They need to get real, and if you want to stay in the sun, that’s up to you, let them go into the shade. ( Let them 😉 ) I think these ladies are a little snobby to be honest.

Totally Agree! I love MEL even more now. Talk about uptight and freaking Puritanical. Mel was with all women. She had to cover her nips. Get outta here. How does she work with them? They wish they could be as cool 😎 as MEL!

It’s shocking how women are always the one judging other women. Men wouldn’t care if their male colleague is exposing his toes or is shirtless. Who gives a s* that your nipples are showing during a meeting with 4 other women colleagues in a very informal/ casual environment? Come on.

As I said in another comment, there is nothing wrong with wanting to see a video where the person doing the podcast has cleaner language. It doesn't mean the person who wants that is 'uptight', it just means they want more clean, respectful language and there is nothing wrong with that.

Czech actress Helena Ružičkova was comedian in movies.Obese lady...People asked her questions about her weight.
She said me who can dress myself behind a tiny tree?
      She said with humor:
I go to a beach, and throw away my bra, and kids make a tent of it.

@@paulaoneill2389I lived this way in my marriage for 25yrs. I was myself. I refused to be a Stanford wife and pretend to be someone I am not. I was with this man for 3 decades of my life so when you don’t give a shit about what people think as long as your partner gets you this is the most liberating time of your life. I didn’t dress up for him or anyone or at home just be yourselves if you didn’t want to comb your hair or shave your legs or fancy nails etc just be yourself watch tv in the house all day. I love been myself and I hope to get a partner that get me. ❤

My daughter is a tattoo artist, and tattoed all over her body EXCEPT her face. In the beginning I was horrified, people stare at her. But now I am so FREAKING PROUD of her, she owns her own business, purchased her own house, has a GOLDEN HEART, has raised money for the unfortunate, and is socially aware and gives back! She was SELF TRAINED, did not go to college but COULD HAVE with her grades. People judge her by her looks, but she is the most AWESOME PERSON I KNOW!!!!!

I thought they were going to say some real idgaf stuff but this is absurd. Mel, you are actually the normal one and this has given me the courage to really not gaf because people are going to judge you ridiculously anyway. Maybe so, but I do wish she would watch her language a little bit. I've watched a lot of her videos now and have noticed more and more that she will let F bombs and the 's' word slip. She can get her point across just as well without the constant 's' and F words. With the language she sometimes uses, my grandmother would be a bit offended by her videos.

At almost 50, I’ve lived my entire life caring what people think, and listening to you is sooo inspiring and FREEING! I finally don’t give a shit, and it is liberating!!! Thank you!! I have always cared what other thought because that was what my mother always taught me. She was raised very co-dependent and could never see that it was wrong. She raised me the same way, my father was always very demanding and I was taught to always cater to the men in my family. Never talk like I am smart, because someone may think I think I am better than them. Well I am the only high school and college graduate in my family and I deserve to be free to speak the way I want to. It is not my problem that others are so insecure that they feel put off by my intelligence. I have a bachelors degree in law, I am a paralegal at a very large firm and I should be proud of that not made to hide those facts because it may make someone else feels a certain way. That is not my problem. Your videos and podcast have been so liberating for me. Please never stop speaking the truth. It took me 50 years to embrace who I am. BTW your daughters singing made this military mom cry. She has an amazing voice and hope she shares it with the world.

@@JennyGastonI relate. I will go to the mall with my husband of 31yrs and didn’t give. Shit. I had flip flops and my hair was messed up with nice scarf and earrings with basketball shorts and T-shirt but I knew that I own my house, I had the best job at children hospital and money in the bank to get whatever I wanted if I wanted. My parents were hard working and raised me with Morals and respect and values and if anyone judge me I didn’t care because I had my shit together. Didn’t shave and was not perfect lady Barbie like these guys want us to be 24hrs. All these male coaches online pushing for females to be sexually enticing and well out together in the house and before you go to bed and in bed and morning when you prepare breakfast lol that shit is unrealistic and that is why we have so much mental health issues in marriage that are fake expectations.

I love your channel and all of the life changing things you share with the world to help us to do better and feel better about ourself. It all makes you a beautiful person.
Social media has a huge problem. Not much of it is real. Everyone is so focused on the outside appearance that it's disgusting. I have watched,.listened and met a lot of beautiful looking people but they are not kind, they are arrogant, they look perfect on the outside but you can tell inside they are not happy.
I laughed so hard as your employees told you the things you did wrong. I loved your expressions because I would have probably had the same ones. The things people are concerned about these days.....I too find it freeing to not "Give A Shit!" Its amazing. It took me until the age of 54 to figure it all out. I have more peace and joy in my life. Life is difficult enough as it is, why care about all of this shit too!! 🤷‍♀️
    Thank you. ❤

I’m sorry you have to work with judgmental people.

i feel really uncomfortable and find it hard to believe how much HER STAFF were judging and getting her to conform to their norms. mel wasnt wearing PJs at the audible meeting, nor was she nude by the pool. the q that crosses my mind is: where does the judgement end? or does it?

Dear Mel, to be honest, I watch other people on TH-cam even though I know your name for some years now. You got me TRULY inspired by saying SO much wisdom finishing this podcast. You really touched me. Am 56, soon I turn 57 and yes, I do not give a SH about my age. In life I DO care about daring to be ME !!! It has been my major struggle. Part of me is a strong lady, part of me is HSP …. No need to explain, I guess. I LOVED your final quote and it is SO much true ! What is the point of having a ‘circle’ in life and you do not dare to be yourself, then indeed that circle IS a cage 🙏🙏🙏. I definately keep this in mind as I continue my growth in life. Big thanks ❤️🌟❤️

If this is considered bad, - and OPEN TOES bad, because..? 😀
You've gotta move to Norway, Mel. ;-). Toes out, sun wear and all.
And your post sauna pictures? GREAT! We are humans, not painted dolls.
Everybody is taking about the pressure on looks - and you make it REAL, and help removing ingrained shame about natural body functions. That does not mean we cannot clean up, but kids out there ar having DEPRESSIONS because of pimples. Mel, you are doing the work to let people off the hook.
    Well done.
Out of the sauna you do not look like shit, you look like a person coming out of a sauna. YOU allow that.
As far as I can see, you are a GREAT role model for people of all ages.
Women shamed to NOT show their toes?
    Where does it stop?
You make life real in a society mad about Kardeshian look, and pressure on body look and body dysmorphia.
WONDERFUL. Mel. You are letting go of the shaming of women, men and being a normal human being.
In my book, this is the way to go.
    BIG hug.

This is just what I needed to hear. I started my own positive journal. I put in quotes that inspire me. "You alone are enough, you have nothing to prove to anybody." By Maya Angelou. "We delight in the beauty of the Butte but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty,". Both quotes are from Maya Angelou, they both remind me of my own personal journey and growth. These lessons are vital. I picture people in my life as animals, if we were all meant to be the same life would be boring. But comparing fish, to birds, to animals that live in water and comparing them in a race is unfair because they are built differently.

I think those ladies have a bit of pucker in their b-holes. Keep being you. Every response they gave seemed to be based on what society thinks, what other people think, and not coming from a sense of freedom. I say you keep being you. You're fabulous.

😂😂😂 Real conversations with real humans. I love how all these ladies have different opinions and are comfortable sharing their “should and shouldn’ts” regardless of the severity of judgement. Hearing the thoughts behind the judgements or lack of caring what people think, offers great insight at how everyone experiences the world in a different way. Each lady gave me a chance to think about their perspective and ask myself what would I do/think/feel … and at the end of the day, would the thoughts/feelings bring peace or unnecessary stress. Great exercise in exploring some of the hidden joy-killers I bring upon myself for unnecessary judgment on things that do not matter. 😅😂

I watch Mel Robbins because of the funny things you make those things that we all do in regular life, normal and funny and make us feel less of a freak because we don’t talk to about these things that we all do these things but we don’t talk about them, but we feel bad about ourselves When we look like shit and we feel like shit and we don’t want to see people but you’re like fuck it this is real. I didn’t want to show up today and look what happened when I did and you can do it too. I mean that’s the best type of encouragement there could possibly be.🎉❤😂

Mel Robbins, omg I adore your approach! I appreciate your courage. You are so brave to portray a real woman with emotions and the freedom to do what you want instead of what other people want. I think these females are incredibly dogmatic. You are not harming anyone; those women should not shame you. why should you be one of 100000 other women who shows them only in perfect appearance....please do not listen to them, please continue to be real!!!!
