Hey, great performance reviews materials. I have a question regarding your presentation , what tool do you use to be able to go through the sheet and be there in the square next to your presentation?
Hi Olivka. I use Final Cut Pro to edit my videos. I first recorded myself in the usual way. I also recorded my screen for the relevant section by using CleanShotX for Mac. I then put on the editing line the recorded screen, then I put a video of myself talking over it. I then used a shape over the video of me, made a compound clip and then I was able to re size and reposition it. I have found this video useful if you are also learning how to edit videos on your own as I don't use video editors just as yet. th-cam.com/video/XAwRtzjIGq4/w-d-xo.html
@@olivka7560 I suggest you start with Ali Abdaal’s video how to edit videos in Final Cut on Skill Share. It’s the first one I completed and learnt a lot. I then learnt other things via TH-cam subject to what I was trying to do.
Hi Sanja What performance management tools have you worked with in the past or to date? I work in a startup and we are looking for something tracks goals and also 360 feedback don’t know if there is anything out there like that 😊
Hi Deborah. As I have predominately worked for large organisation, they have used Workday, SAP or Oracle. These systems are used for all sorts of things and have a performance management module included. However, for a start up, I would suggest you consider using something like FactorialHR as it is cheaper and operates on a subscription basis rather than long term contracts that large organisations do. Check them out and book a demo: factorialhr.co.uk Another alternative is to manage it all in Notion. I am working on a few analytics templates within Notion which may give you some examples. I will share when ready. With regard to 360 feedback - as this is a tool to gather feedback from various people with a goal to produce a personalised report for you at the end of it, this is usually provided by an external software in my experience and paid by a number of requests. I don't have any to recommend as such. If you research on LinkedIn and Google there are plenty of offer to explore. Not sure how big your start up is, if not a large one, then 360 may not work due to smaller numbers to ask for feedback in my opinion. If a smaller team, then a direct feedback may be more appropriate. If you are keen to introduce OKRs - I suggest to explore ally.io [working on a video about it too] Hope this helps, happy to answer more Sanja
When is your performance review with your manager? How was the last one? How do you usually prepare?
