I bought the Fabulous EMX Extreme dual 750 60 V 20 inch last September my very first e-bike I ever bought and I love it and I am 70yrs old..😊
Nice👌🏾
What’s your impression the most.. I m thinking buying this ..but still am looking more input what ppl think 💭..?..thanks
@@romavilla7855 lots of power and great hill climbing power just a nice bike. I unlocked mine for full power..
@@romavilla7855 I have this. I like it. 31-33 or so pedaling, 37-38 throttle. Very zippy, fun bike.
I'm almost 50 but disabled. I have 3 ekickscooters.. I'm about 5'9 and one hundred and sixty pounds. Does it seem too small for you or is it comfortable?
You sold me right off the bat! I bought mine right before they sold out about the beginning of May '24. Delivery was rough on it, and e-mailed Lampro who in-turn e-mailed me back with replacement parts if wanted. He even offered the 2nd 15Ah battery with this new pre-order offer he's running . Anyway, I'm 67 and have 4 - 20" fat-tire foldables, a modified Lectric XP 2.0 with a air-fork and 750W Bafang rear hub motor, a Polarna M5 , a ViTiLan i7 Pro, & a new Mihogo NX, all set up with 2nd batteries and voltmeters to monitor the batteries. So after getting this Furious e-bike, I'm sold on the pure, flat out performance of this bike. The ride is cushy, powerful with or without front motor engaged, and they are super quiet compared to all my other 20 inchers. I've only ridden it three times so far and have been dialing it in with the shifting, seat and the torque settings. I love the adjust-ability they have left in the controller display to adjust your preferences into the bike. The Guide front fork is the cushiest, most responsive hydraulic, I've ridden to date, and that's over the air-forks on my other foldables. I will admit, there are some production miscues on the design, like what Citizen spoke about with the down-tube motor cable for the front wheel, which I found can be relocated into the battery cavity, away from harming objects. the cut-outs for the cabling in the controller box at the bottom bracket area has sharp edges that could cut and chaff the cables, wires and cable housings as well as the hydraulic lines. I took a Dremel tool with a barrel sanding roller to smooth out those edges I could get to and stuffed a firewall grommet in the rear hole for the rear motor cable. My derailleur cage protector got pushed into the derailleur, bending both of them, and breaking one side of the rod of the protector at the weld. I found a new one on Amazon that is way beefier and actually fits better than the original. But the derailleur is needing some serious realignment and adjustment to get it back to smooth function. The fork steerer tube was capped off with a normal head set cap and bolt to hold the tube in the frame for shipment, but UPS delivered it upside down on the steerer tube, which was by now, protruding out of the box and all scratched up. I documented the whole shipment receipt with pictures before opening the box. The UPS guy was in a hurry, because he dropped it off out close to the street just under my aluminum driveway carport. I couldn't catch him to complain to him about how he and his company handled that shipment. Fortunately Lampro is well aware of this, and is working on resolutions to correct future incidences. (Oh, and the stem replaces the cap on the steerer tube so the cap was a shipping temporary thing.) Final thought...I do LOVE this bike! 🤩
I can recommend any bike from furuous e bikes. I own a fabulous emx from them, and the owner Lampro is amazing, and the customer service is above no other!!! Would highly recommend purchasing from Lampro. You will not be disappointed. Great products. Great customer service. When you purchase any other ebike, can you pick up tue phone and talk with the owner? No, probably not, but with Lampro, you can, and if you have an issue, he will gladly help you out. I can't recommend buying one of these enough. You will not be disappointed !!! Excellent Ebikes Lampro!!
Appreciate your comment. When deciding where to buy, customer service is the most important factor for me. Indeed, on two other AWD bikes I was considering I saw a number of complaints about poor or rude customer service AFTER the guys bought their bikes. (That is a typical pattern, isn't it.)
So when I read comments such as yours, that motivates me to make the purchase.
It was between this or the new Freedom. My first ebike will be the EMX Ultimate.
Excellent review. Especially appreciated your pointing out the tech details.
Convinced me to add this bike to the stable.
Great job on the ebike. If I didn't have one on order I would buy it!
I would put wire wraps around the wires by the handle bar and a better thicker sheathing for the power wire
Great review. It felt authentic.
Great job! Great review!
Being that I'm from the 80s 90s bmx era I really like this 👍🏻
Wow, I was about to buy this bike until I saw your vid on the wired bike upgrades.
I'm near RDU, thanks for the $50 discount!
Nice lighting
Couple of things. The fender bracing attached to the fork are going to be damaged first. It appears they skimped on the controller. 25-amp controller should be 40amp to 45-amp. Lastly, they should have fed the motor wire through the tube. It would be cleaner and safer for the wire. I do like all the lighting, the rack, and the fork. It's a nice-looking smaller bike that is full suspension. It's great for shorter riders. I think the dual battery trend is going to take off. By giving dual batteries, it gives some relief reference range anxiety. Of course, if you stomp on it and all the time, like my 5.0 Mustang, it's not going to get great range, but it's fun! I think on every dual motor bike you test; you need to do a launch to see if it breaks traction. It's a fun factor that sells bikes! Great review as always!
I believe that it had two 25 amp controllers for a total of 50. One for each motor.
Fabulous/Furious makes really nice high power bikes, and this one looks like their best so far. So nice to see an innovative and unique powertrain and frame. Price might be a little too high with recent competition but what a great choice to the Grizzly and all the other e moped bikes that pedal like a clown car.
Great review. Power to pavement dense bike, all well tested... As a rider on those CST Scout tires... just don't try 'carving' at higher speeds, they are surely grippy, and nice to look at, they are floaty tires with little structure at high speeds.
The front is wasted power. Use a larger rear & lose the front motor. Great test. Thank you.
That's like the crossover SUV of ebikes. Is the rear motor cable a quick disconnect or is straight from wheel to controller? If so they may have left it outside for flat tire fixes when you need slack in the cable to get the wheel off.
Almost perfect in my book. I'm used to riding a Radmini hardtail, and it would be great to have this for when I don't need to put a bike in the trunk of the car. I think the Julet connector on the motor wire is why they left it outside. You'd have to remove all the other wires to get that one wire out, and it would be a service hassle. I have those same brake rotors, except in 180mm size. They are floating rotors which center themselves, and that means less drag and fewer adjustments. Traction while hill climbing is the downside of dual motors, and there are mountain bike trails I ride that this could not go on for that reason. Other than that, I love it 🔥🔥
haha great catch on the Rotors!
The reason that motor wire is on the outside is so they can replace it in case there is any issue with the motor. Or at least that is my thought on it. I would like to see turn signals on front and back on more electric bikes
There was just no more room on the inside so logically we would keep the motor wire on the outside for easy access, but i do agree we can run it into the controller box a little higher up...and we will!
Any chance of running the wire through the top tube ?
Nice. Could customize for that Easy Rider look, just paint on some flames and add more chrome, definitely chrome handlebars. Hard choice between this and the wired lime green cruiser. More expensive and more motor to deal with. I think I’d get the wired cruiser as my first pick.
What is the best power and range of the two
I like this one, Just curious about the real world range
Hi Brian, any chance you could a quick side by side shot with a 26x4 get tire bike? I’d love to see how much smaller the EMX is.
great review. It looks like it could be below 68" long which would mean fitting in elevator. The traction control setting is a big winner, and I think fabulous is a leader in this. KD displays are the best, ad this has a lot of extra settings with temperature compared to other controlers. Power seems plenty. Even if a bike had more, its not worth it for the features this bike does have. Is it at all possible controller has 2x25amps?
@19:06 I'm guessing all bikes come as RWD, and they are just adding on the awd as a 2nd step so wiring is not as incorporated?
My blue EMX is arriving today!
Nice. How much did it cost you?
@@arryarry166 Just rode it. Love it. Feels like a pocket Wired bike. $2600
@@justinwhite2951 2600 tax in with shipping ?
@@justinwhite2951 how does the weight of the bike feel to you? 100 lbs seems hard to belive for a 20" bike.
@@rickbarber8399 My other bike is a Wired Freedom so the weight is fine. It's very maneuverable. I built it in my kitchen and sort of carried it out the door with no issues. Once a bike hits 80 lbs or so, I feel they are all the same. I also have a Fabulous Trail Step which is full size 27 inch and they all feel similar. Heavy but not unmaneuverable,
When will It be sent out in Canada??
I was actually looking at the eahora remeo pro 2 . But this is looking more manageable for my needs.
I have a disability that doesn't allow me to pedal especially up hill. Plus I pull a dog trailer for my service dog.
I want to go camping with my e bike.
I won't need a trailer for camping. But it needs to go up hills with little to no input from me. Is there a walk mode ??
It helps when I do have to walk it up hill.
I’m 5’1”. I need a e-bike that is very rugged and strong. Step thru with fat tires. With power for the steep hills in my area. I don’t have paved roads. What have you seen that will fit ? Your content is thorough and concise.
The Reaper Ultimate Edition has the same motors, power and features on a step through frame and dual suspension, maybe it will fit you well. Many new ebikes will be available on both websites in the coming days.
What feels safer and more controllable, small ture bike or big tires like the wired freedom?
Hey! Have you tested Engwe 🚲 bikes? (Couldn't find it 🤔)
...and eBikes for tall 6"+ people?
(26" or 29.5" wheelbase bigger frame eBikes?)
Looks pretty sweet, but I’d like to see 40+ mph since it’s just kissing that ceiling 😎
The new wired freedom is 35 ah dual battery that thing goes like 44.... $1999
@@rafaelmoreno3243 considering that wired is a 26" wheel diameter it should go quicker, but for a 20" wheel and only 750w, we are the king at this level.....but we havent seen the Road Warrior Ultimate yet!

Can I get one in Canada?
Another great review Brian. I placed my pre-order on this bike after you came out with your unboxing review. It really does offer all of the top end features I was looking for and the fact that they are adding the 2nd battery option is a big plus. I am 5' 11" and currently ride a 20 x 4 fat tire folding bike. I find the smaller size more nimble and easier to ride than the 26 X 4 tires. I do question why they have the motor cable so exposed. I would seem to increase the possibility of something catching on it and doing some damage. The price point is competitive given all of the features & no shipping fee or sales tax. Their service so far seems to be good as my call was answered on the first try. I ended up speaking to the owner, Lampro who was very helpful and answered all my questions. He has also answered my emails as well. Now I just need to be patient for the August. Do you feel that the stock tires will work ok on off road biking compared to the knobbier tires?
They work really good off road as the tread goes well to the side. Thats why i switched them for best of both worlds.
Just rode this bike. Love it. You are going to like it
@@justinwhite2951 can you provide me with a bit more feedback on why you love it Did you buy this bike or test ride it?
@@rickbarber8399 I bought one of the few models they had left before the preorder. I wanted a bike that was peppy and fast but smaller than my Wired Freedom. This one is just that. It feels like a pocket Wired. I rode my Wired just after it and they feel kind of similar in speeds but this one dusts it on the start. The wheelspin from the torque is nuts, maybe that could get annoying but I am enjoying it and it only happens if you want it to happen. I can control it...I also did it in turn and it wasn't an issue. My one complaint was the packaging was a little light on the sides so it had a scratch right on the downtube, but I am hoping to get some touchup paint.
@@justinwhite2951 thank you for the quick response. I was considering the wired or e-cells bike but did not want the 26" tires. Do you find it more maneuverable compared to the wired freedom? 100 lbs seems like a lot for this smaller bike.
That’s what I’m talking about. Ride till you drop.
Is this better to buy or the roadrunner pro scooter?
Nice bike but only pre-order as of now with projected delivery starting in August. I think they should have targeted getting the bikes out early in the riding season.
Great review Mr. Citizen. The option to get the 2nd battery to the rear rack for $200 more is a game changer and is now my favorite 20" ebike. Plus an extra $300 off pre-order with dual motors makes this a very competitive price. I'd highly consider this Furious EMX if I hadn't pre-ordered the Wired Crusier.
What sold you on the wired cruiser? What is the price
@@Wapap The new updated step thru design and integrated 2 batteries installed w/battery blender at 60V 20ah/ 15ah with no increase in price. The out the door price with sales tax, insurance and shipping to CA was slightly over $2,400. Hope that helps!
What's it weight without the battery and the seat?
The speed is not controlled by the motor right? If you are in pedal assist 1 you can go more than 10 miles an hour if you pedal hard and are in a higher gear right? It's power control higher assist level more watts to the motor right?
What is the weight limit for the bike, web sight doesnt say thanks
I couldn't find the torque or distance specs. If anyone knows I'd appreciate letting us know
I wish they would add full suspension to their step through version of this bike . The Havac x2
Furious is the next Riese and Muller of pricey e- bikes
Can you tell me what the difference is between this and the EMX-One X ? it looks identical to this bike but with one 1000w motor in the rear. I cannot find ANY information anywhere on the internet.....Do you know anything about this one?
The EMX one has 1 motor and no rear suspension. this EMX Ultimate has 2 motors and full suspension
Great looking bike do they have a step thru version ?
Reaper Ultimate Edition.... its on the website
The reaper ultimate edition is a moped style step thru, I was looking for an adjustable seat furious style step thru
What's a power house ebike for a person 6 foot 3 250 lbs?

Looks like they just took the Juiced rip racer frame and upgraded it
It's really nice, but seems strange. It's not at least one thousand watt motors with a big sixty volt battery so it can go at least forty five or fifty.and maybe be able to turn down front motor
Can't wait to get the RoadWarrior Ultimate AWD 60v, also on ore-order.
Ordering mine in white with huge mag wheels. 😉
But I kinda want to order this one as well.
strange that the fenders leave the sides edges of the tire exposed.
not a fan of red and there is no all matte black option.
too many logos for my liking.
the website says there’s a pearl white version but it’s the picture of the red one.
blue has many sticker logos.
site doesn’t say how much it weighs.
edit:
you said in the video it weighs 100lbs but i guess that is before you add the second battery.
too heavy as-is considering there is a folding ebike with dual motors around the same weight called the hanevear. this one does not fold yet is the same weight.
weight matters because of weight limits in car e-bike racks. yes you can remove the battery, but not good to match weight carrying capacity rather than being under the cpacity in a moving vehicle.
it’s supposed to be a “small” bike but weighs heavier than say a wired freedom bike. why is that? if i was to go small, it should be lighter so i have more reasons to ride that in place of a wired freedom or an e-cells triple crown five star.
Does any manufacturer make a quiet geared hub motor? I can't stand the sound of them, they sound like old chain drive. At least they have quiet tires.
The EMX xtreme 60v is by far the quietest motors you will ever get on any ebike with power.
Direct drive is much more quiet. I agree, geared hubs too noisy
Which one ...Wired cruiser... or this one? thanks
I have them both. I like them both. I think this bike is awesome. This feels like a pocket wired. And when the motors peak its outputting very similar wattage. Suspension on this may be better than Wired. But at the tip-top speed (which are the same), I think the Wired feels a little more secure. But this was is more fun to ride at 30 MPH. I honestly flip a coin which one to ride. If you want acceleration, this one eats Wired.
@@justinwhite2951 I'm leaning towards this one.. smaller size to fit me... 5'8". Thanks for the info.
WHY 4 INCH TIRES?
Do you have any e-bike s for sale?
I surely have some I can let go 😁 are you local?
@@CitizenCycle925 I’m in Wichita Kansas. Where are you ?
@@CitizenCycle925 I am in the rdu area, Hillsborough. I might would be interested in what you have available I can make it to Clayton, no problem.
You should have timed it up the hill in mystery mode. Then you could rule out eco or launch control.
Anyone considering this that has at least one step they need to go up when putting it away should really think HARD...and maybe test out lifting something that's 110 lbs up that step(s). (I'm figuring just bike + decent chain and lock...it WILL be even heavier than that w/ your gear and Slime in the tires.)
Now consider having to lift it when you've been out riding a few miles and your legs and body are tired from the pedaling/exercise. It gets a LOT harder to do at the end of a ride.
I've got a G-Force ZF moped style ebike (20"x4", 750W) that the website claims is 76lbs...nope. That baby is 100lbs straight out of the box. Add stuff onto it like phone & camera mount, fold-up cargo baskets, the repair tools/tube bag, Slime in the tires, and a lock & chain...and you're looking at well over 120lbs before you even swing your leg over.
And lifting that front wheel up 3 small stairs at the end of a ride sometimes feels like an insurmountable task. Once you get the front wheel up, the throttle can pull the rest of the bike up for you, but just getting that wheel up there first is the problem. There were times where I just parked the bike in front of my porch and had one of my sons bring it up, or I went back out and put it away after I'd rested for an hour or so.
(And then I smartened up and got a motorcycle trailer with a back door ramp to park my bikes in.)
It’s the Econo mode
Can I ask?
How tall you are and how much do you weigh
6ft 180lbs
Do furious ship to uk .
No, but if you can arrange a ship to transport it for you we will sell it to you. Batteries are illegal on planes.
A chainring WITHOUT a 2-sided chainguard? I thought that was pretty much standard on ebikes nowadays.
I can not find anything on the expected range or mileage with and/or without the extra rear battery. Also, there is nothing on load capacity.
I have one....just went pretty much wide open throttle dual motor or PAS 5 for 25 miles. If I was to economize the battery I think it would be almost exactly what I get on my Wired Freedom which is around 35-40 miles on dual motor.
@justinwhite2951 do you have both batteries?
@@cs-xd9gy I do not have the rear one yet because they come in August with the other EMX bikes, but I am getting one. This bike is sneaky good. It's like a small Wired Freedom with more torque. Get roughly the same top speed as my Wired...I'm 190lbs and can hit 37mph, sometimes a bit more. I like being able to just cruise in rear 750 watt motor and then kick in front motor for hills and speed.
Why not just go with one motor in the back and spoke wheels? That would save a lot of weight
i checked their website they not seat anything battery per miles range.
I have one. I am 190 lbs. I went pretty much wide open on hills and flats and got 25-26 miles. When I ride comfortably PAS 3...maybe 20-26 mph I can get about 40 miles. It's not flat here so a combo of flats and hills.
Do you sell these ebikes? Reply with contact im interested
The motor power cable on the outside of the frame looks sloppy and unfinished !!! I'll wait until they clean that up and offer rear battery at a reasonable price?? Battery prices have dropped dramatically !! Love your videos keep up the great work
Battery prices have dropped but labour has shot up, think about that. for $1,999 you get no torque sensors, cheap suspension, low quality brakes, no trigger shifters an entry level derailleur and over powered controllers that will blow. Bikes have to be built to last long, hence the saying you get what you pay for.
I agree, look at the parts that are on this bike. Everything is quality stuff.
I can't understand why manufacturers don't unevenly distribute the power between the rear and front motors given most of the weight is on the rear wheel. In this case 60v 1000 watt rear motor with a 60v 500 watt front motor would be far better. Same overall power and speed on the road but much safer. Especially off-road and on beach sand. When I go beach fishing with my dual 1000w AWD e-bike (to get over the sand dunes) I can never use full power because the front wheel just goes crazy. If it had 1500 watts on the rear and 500 watts on the front I could probably use full power in more situations when needed.
They could have or in the future get, a bash plate like another brand has.
How torquey is it when one motor is engaged? I've got a basic Chinese dual ebike too, but only 48v 22a. When i ride with one motor, it doesn't feel you have a 1kw motor in your disposal
it looks like a Scooter Meets Bmx ....i am going to call this an off road SMX ....
That down tube is probably packed to capacity. My Road warrior had zero room to pack any more wires in there, that said the majority of e-Bike wiring is made by a company called JULET, The exposed wiring is engineered to hold up to exposure to the elements, Here is a link to a video another e-bike content creator made about it. It is pretty informative. th-cam.com/video/eT4axvs61HA/w-d-xo.html
Tried to pre-order the bike and 2nd battery, but the 2nd battery for whatever reason kept getting deleted from my cart.
Enjoyed this video though.
was a minor glitch, every EMX ultimate will have a second battery, just try again. One client reported the bug and we fixed it.
@@fabulousebikes1110 I should have clarified, I am in the U.S. I had watched another channel's review of the bike and he was in Canada. His link to your site had the same 2nd battery option. When I added that to the cart it did show up on the checkout page.
So it is the U.S. website and/or checkout web page that the 2nd battery is not showing up when attempting to pre-order.
The website says 23.4ah
Hang on maybe I'm wrong
I am wrong mb
Eco mode
Nice ride however I am worried about ebikes and the Law, 20, 28, MPH limits?? you are now in the realm of motorcycles. I want the power at the start however 20 MPH is fast enough.
You can regulate and hold it to slower speeds
Non off roader with that wire
When you have these bikes with over 2000 watts of peak power no kidding the pedalling won’t make them go any faster. Even a strong rider could only provide 200 watts for short bursts. The pedals are just for compliance.
I disagree. I can get a few MPH out of my Wired by pedaling, This one is the opposite. Its much faster on throttle.
I don't like the way the duel motor button is placed
1 less cable and a digital button gave us more options like the eco mode.
I have one...got the new one before the August waiting period. The motor button is great. I thought cycling through the motor button would be annoying too but it flips pretty fast and if you need to go from Dual to rear (the most common needed quick change) it is the next one on the cycle. To get back to dual moto from just rear it's another couple clicks but can do it on the fly. I like this bike alot.
38 mph is fine,
25 miles range is not.
Yeah that is the range I just got, but I am 200lbs and have a lot of hills and rode throttle only, Real world, probably around 35-40 miles. Probably way more on just rear motor, but if you are going to ride this on rear motor then I would just buy a rear motor bike. So I would say 40 miles is very comfortable between a little throttle some light pedaling. It's exactly what I get on my Wired Freedom. Spoiler alert: They are the same battery.
There’s no way that thinking out accelerate your grizzly
tell him to race them and be surprised.
I'm surprised they can make this, being that it breaks every Canadian e-bike rule, lol.
Canada rules suck!
Hard pass on the stem. That stem broke the deal. That would be the one and only reason I wouldn't buy this.
Comfort or looks? It adjustable and can handle the thicker handlebars for safety. What would you suggest then?
@@fabulousebikes1110 Maybe using riser type handlebars (instead of BMX style) would look better, for those not liking the looks? Then, of course the height would not be as much. I see the Road Warrior Ultimate 60v AWD has the riser type with this same adjustable stem.
@@fabulousebikes1110 Hi! Are you planing to make a lighter bike with slimmer tires and rear motor only? keeping it under 30 kg
@@fabulousebikes1110 Actually it's a 3 part reason. Looks, comfort and safety. I would suggest a chunky bmx stem with chromoly bars.
