Man I really love the transmission whine. It just adds so much character and soul to the car. I’m just concerned about how much built in slop the engineers expect and if that increases load on internal parts.
installing transmission mount/bushings/rear diff inserts on my 16 WRX has DRAMATICALLY improved drivetrain rigidity and improves driving experience greatly. no more weird shuddering when shifting. highly recommend!
good compromise stuff for a daily is the sti type N pitch stop, sti type N transmission mount, and toss in the shift improvement bushings from any of the makers. next good stuff is the rear diff support, torquesolutions makes a good one, and better upper bushings. all this does a good job at reducing the stock subie herky jerky bs.
I have a H6 legacy and I live in a tropical 🌴 climate and on those cold winter mornings I notice the power improvements with the nice dry cool air good video I’m replacing my mount will a stronger rubber one off aliexpress it looks good better than the stock one
Not a stupid question… It’s a great question! Underneath the car there are 2 frame rails. I use the pinch weld to jack the car, but the frame rails to support the vehicle with the jack stands. This also allows me to support the weight of the car on one side with the jack incase one of the two stands fail.
@@ImportImageRacing awesome, thanks! Next time I've got mine up on stands, I'll do that. I've gone kinda nuts trying to fit the stand and jack under the same section of pinch weld and not damage the side skirt.

Awesome! Thanks for the input
A JDM Group N mount, rear diff inserts, diff carrier and positive shift kit will definitely improve the shifting and acceleration.
💯 great combination!
i just order this mount and kit for my 24vb and the super shift stop can wait to install it

Is an adapter needed for the Group N mount on a wrx 6 speed (vs STI 6 speed)?
Come on man😂😂😂that intro got me😂😂😭😭☠️☠️☠️!!
Facts!

This might be a stupid question, but where are you putting your jack stands? They look like they're farther inboard than the pinch welds.

Can you explain a weird click noise from going into 3rd and than from 3rd to 4th I hear a weird click
Do a review on the new CAN flex fuel kit for the VA wrx
I’m trying! Believe me!
Install video !!! Wooo
Question how much whp are you making on the wrx and is it on 93 pump gas. Car looks amazing
93 pump gas ALL DAY! 💪🏼 I would be shocked to see this car make more than 250whp in its current form!
Where did you put the jack stands under the car?
Directly under the front frame rail.
Why does it add more noise after install?
less cushioning = more noise/vibration
Forget transmission mount. Keep abusing it like that and you will need a new transmission
