It would've been so hard to preserve the prototypes of this
Just disable the deletion script if your the dev, otherwise yeah
you can easily avoid the deletion of the game by closing it when you die

pro tip: you can just add velocity to the player rigid body if you want to make a forced jump
Thanks for watching. Sorry It took so long for this video to come out. I was working on another project for a while but it didn't work out and was taking too much time, so I decided to restart and make something new. Hopefully I should be posting more frequently, but these videos take a lot of work and a lot of time so who knows.

Make it delete system 32 so you will have to by a new computer and download the game again until you win

you should make it so that the external program that deletes the game has a variable to see if you have died before and deletes the game if you reinstall it and try to play it again after already dying.
your probably talking about a registry key
@@resolvn if its a registry key, smart people will:
1) reset the key
2) teach everyone how to do it
making it pointless
also you could just uninstall/reinstall the external program
You can make a value thats hidden in a very random folder that sets the death value to 1

@@daefin9993 I'm talking an external program that hides the non game value and sets the value to one when you die so it uninstalls the game, but when it's found or the game is reinstalled, it goes to a completely different folder before it's clicked on, also who the fuck would use cheat engine to a basic unity game, there's nothing to do anyways, you'll die at some point

@@ilaanmohamedjinah6588 That would be infuriating if this appeared in a "Trial and Error" sort of game, since Geometry Dash is built around dying. So if dying means you can never play it again, even if you come back to it, I can see people getting mad at that.

How to avoid deletion:
Delete the uninstaller file in the games files.
Close the game when you reached the you died screen.

@Rye The game doesn't delete itself, it just tells me when I click on retry that the retry button doesn't really work and that the game is in the process of being deleted and it doesn't delete it

most hardest game, bc at first death you need to reinstall a copy of it, which takes time, precious time

I always thought of this idea for a game but scraped it everytime cause I thought it wasn't possible.
You should make it where you get 3 lives and if you die all 3 times you can pay for more lives if not then it deletes its self
You could also have a save game that contains a boolean which, if true, will block the game from starting.
