This movie was brilliant. It was 99% dialogue in one setting, yet I was captivated by it the whole time. I felt like I was reading pages straight out of a storybook. That's good movie making.
One of my favorites... Right below Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood... (I could have done without the Bruce Lee disrespect)... Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained wasn't too bad also.
💯 I’ve seen this movie about 10 times. But, I’ve listened to it over 300 because of its audiobook-like quality. I play it during the winter to fall asleep. Love it!

Almost every Tarentino film has an opening scene where characters discuss some profound thought; (i.e. Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, reservoir dogs etc.) I really want to know what this movies opening scene will be about?! Lol can't wait.

Absolutely love this movie. I remember it was late one night and I was bored. I stumbled upon this movie and I ended up watching it from start to finish and thinking damn this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I’ve seen it at least a dozen times since and it never gets old.
Exactly what I’m doing now. Seen it a few times yet wanna watch it again while I chill after the games over

Just a fantastic movie. I'm watching it yet again right now for the 5th time and I'm not 1 for re-watching movies unless it's been at least 2-3 years.

No matter how often I watch that movie. It is hilarious and I laugh about it and about each scene every single time. I don't even need the violence later on. It's the dialogues and the atmopshere and the cast....brilliant movie.

Amazing movie. For anybody that hasn’t seen it I want to tell you that anybody saying this movie is bad or boring is probably a 10 year old that needs constant action to keep them entertained. If you have a low attention span, then this movie isn’t for you considering there’s almost 1.5 hours of dialogue. But if you have learned to appreciate how good a scene can be without constant action then this movie is for you. Also the trailer looks corny but it’s nothing like this, much more slow pace also.

Honestly, I'd much prefer a 20 minute dialogue scene by Tarantino than a 20 minute action scene by Tarantino.
Totally agree. But, it’s closer to 2.5 hours of dialogue. QT’s words just masterfully strung together and delivered by competent actors. This film is definitely not for everybody. But, for those of us who appreciate a good story, exceptional writing, convincing acting and flawless direction…well, QT made this for us.

This looks great. Tarantino is the master of scenes with minimal dialogue. The atmosphere he can make in a film without any speech is so iconic, i look forward to this one!
Can't wait to watch this again soon, it's been years. No one can do a movie like this better than Tarantino the first time I watched it I was totally absorbed.

And almost all of them were not only written in record time, but they were just awful!

Great actors stuck in a cabin doing a "who-done-it"... directed by Tarantino! Holy shit its gonna be badass!
It's simple but I just love how by the end, you really see every single one of them are just absolutely psycho hateful bastards, especially the shot where they're laughing at her hanging
I disagree, for me atleast the ending signifies how two men from diametrically opposing war factions (in this case union vs confederate) stand together in the face of a greater evil, and I think it's quite beautiful

quentin torentino is really a legend, what a movie, enjoyed every scene from the beggining, every act was plotted so beautifully and genuinly, dont think just watch till the end. waiting for his last movie to release.

Tarantino is like Shakespeare - not a bad sonnet in the bunch! Nearly 3 hours of Quentin’s dialog (plus a minute or two of his actual narration - thanks for that, QT). Love this film so much.

The strangest goddamn pacing I have ever seen in a movie. So much tension built and a great release.
+Judge Fredd Kurosawa had some real weird pacing as well. To me, The Hateful Eight is kind of reminiscent of Kurosawa's "Ikiru" in terms of how the story is developed.
2020 and we are still here..
Everything was so much better than expectation. Every bit of it. Even while watching in the mid of the movie, still it wasnt how I expected the plot to develeop to. It was so much better.
