- This is from the SNES soundtrack. A somewhat extended remix of Mr. Big's theme. It's even better than the original. One of the greatest fighting game soundtracks out there folks. Even better than it's Arcade counterpart.

Frickin' love this track.
I spent years assuming that the Neo Geo's version would be far superior, but when I finally heard it, it was totally forgetable and unremarkable.
Agreed bro.👍
Same thing goes for Ryo Sakazaki theme on Fatal Fury Special. The Neo Geo version is uninspired, while the SNES version is far superior and creates a mix of several themes from the first Art of Fighting 1.
@@thiagofoliveira Takara was a strange beast (In a good way) with their imports
I felt the way with Axel Hawk's theme in Fatal Fury Special. They didn't even bother with the arcade version and did their own mix.
I had to be the only kid in high school rockin' pressed slacks and gator skin shoes. Mr. big inspired my wardrobe back then. He was pimp
This arrangement is perfect. It takes an already great song and refines it further. It's one of the most polished pieces of fighting game music I've ever heard.
it's something.... real bout 2ty. Anguishably, techno japanese, like... i don't know, it's remember me Jo Jo 4 some reason
I can't lose when I hear this theme. Cause I feel it in my veins.
I think I just overdosed on the 90's.
Nothing wrong with that.
sigh, I miss the 90's..
You can practically hear Mr. Big singing "WE GOT THE FUNK" from behind his wraparound shades. This is amazing.
maybe for that in '96 the finisher move is so : [
@@aidiknocles What do you mean
@@johnnynorrisjr.39 k'96... the SDM that hold the enemy by theirs sticks in air. Dance reference (you know, blues, dance, funk, techno, electronic.............
@@aidiknocles Either you need a better English Translator, or you are a robot pretending to be a human
@@johnnynorrisjr.39 well, as you said, whenever y play kof 96 we'll be have a talk. Cheers
Man, I still love this theme. SNES version of course. Mr. Big needs to be put in Capcom vs Snk 3 with this theme.
always loved the original.. game came out when i was about 10 yo.. now at 35 im hearing this new version and i feel like i havent lived until this day.lol.. LOOVE THE SOUND

Damn time flys don't it ?
Man this track gets stuck in your head! Brings back great SNES memories!
MR. BIG - The Former Don of South Town.
Did All of this come from a Super Nintendo sound chip? I would actually play this in my SUV and people would actually think this was done by actual instruments...
This awesome music was done by a synthesizer.
This track is dope. created for a Pimp. Mr. Big is a Pimp! I love this song.
Maybe the best track in the game.
Great remix. It’s perfect!
I remember when I first bought this game, and made it up to Mr.big. I didn't know wether to start dancing or kick his ass(awkward moment ) but but the song was stuck in my head ever since then, the best stage music ever of any 2- D fighter game. Funny cuz u would expect the final boss stage music to be evil but instead he comes out jamming.
It comes from a cd series called "Super Famicom Magazine" I'd highly suggest doing a Google search for them. There are about 21 volumes in the series.
i fouind 12, did u got anymore that this
?
SUPER FAMICOM NEW GAME SOUND MUSEUM vol 11 is the name of the album if you want to find the song in higher quality
Glad you all enjoyed it. =)
LMAO i just pictured that in my head. I'd love to see someone rap over this beat. =)
Koru Productions Greydon Square could work magic with this
Completely agree. If CVS 3 ever gets made, he would be an awesome choice along with this exact theme.
Mr. Big Theme (with SNES and Super Famicom soundtrack parts) is sub-boss theme material.
O vendetta di dio is final boss theme material.
I gotta say, this sounds pretty good for an SNES game!
Although it's a good song, it doesn't really fit Big all that well. Sounds more fit for a big city-type stage. His KoF '96 theme fits him a lot better IMO.
Haha, this is delicious!
i didnt even know there was remix to this soundtrack i will have to find them when i get the chance this is nice remix
I got the japanese of Art of Fighting in a small video game store! I remembered how fucking awesome it was in the arcades! The music in the SNES version just blew me away!! And you could hear it AGAIN AND AGAIN! The only thing missing is the very nice end-theme, which you have to wait for until you complete the game... The musician on this game for the SNES did a SUPERB and DIFFERENT job than the Neo Geo counter-part! Thumbs up for ART OF FIGHTING! SNK / NEO-GEO FOREVER!
Sounds like something heavy D, Guy, or kool moe D would be on 😂🤣
It's funny you say that. I started rapping in 92 and in 94 I actually sampled this music and made a song out of it (has nothing to do with Art of Fighting though). I think I got the song laying around here somewhere. But I sampled this, One Winged ANgel and something from Streets of Rage.
TyrantKing1 Post it. I want to hear it.
Sadly I no longer have it. It was on cassette tape and it got lost to time. HOWEVER, I do have a reworking of The Esper Boss Tower of FF6 and One Winged Angel Sampled for some songs. Look up V Sinizter "Something Wicked" and "The Shepherd."
I want to hear too
New Jack Swing.
"Over so soon?"
this beat is fresh
New jack swing style!
I agree with all of you guys. Man this is another tight game theme.
mr big and lee had the best music, i think. all the others were somewhat forgettable for me.
00000a+
Mickey's theme and Karate's theme was also good in my opinion
I really liked John’s theme too.
Todo’s theme was a banger don’t trip😤Also Mickeys was dope as well
If it exists, i have not heard or seen it floating around anywhere. His beat is my 2nd favorite, so if i find a remix, i will be sure to post it up.
Whoa, this is the first time ever hearing version 2. Never knew it existed until now. This version is pretty dope too.
Thank you for the upload, fellow lover of music. 💚👊😌
I like king and mr.big combos , and the music from snes is the best .
A.O.F forever
i like his theme
it has more excitement and reminds me of the good year 1993
I knew i couldnt possibly be the only one who liked this song. Shit is tight! Makes you wanna get up and start rappin (at least i do lol)
As great as the Capcom composers were, The SNK Sound Team were in a league of their own.
I always love this theme song Mr. Big stage.. Reminds me Michael Jackson sounds "Dangerous" Album
I got "Why you wanna trip on me" in mind... Love Michael and this gaming and musical era..
It's the guitar sample. It is very reminiscent of "Why You Wanna Trip On Me" :)
Snes best song ever!
This song ruled.
This is just the arranged soundtrack remixes for the snes. Not bad
Imma tell my kids this is the time the SNES did “New Jack Swing”.
I have heard the shorter version on the SNES, but not this one. Sounds good to me!
No argument here. It's by far my favorite.
FANTASTICCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
A wech pelaná!!! Bien hecho
Lmao right on. LOVE the CAW of Mr.Big you made btw. That is bad ass.
i love this track
Wow !!!! nice track.
0:09 Larry Bundy Jr. used this theme starting from the timestamp listed for a Fact Hunt episode
Very nice theme, my favourite of the game, remind me good times.
ALRIGHT! This is COOL! I'm FEELIN' IT! :D
I do not. This is the only arranged track i have. I thought in the SNES version you could choose between Stereo, Mono and Surround sound. I don't recall there being an option to change to arrange, at least not in the U.S. version.
I love this song 😌☝
I had the SNES version, but I don't recall the second half of the song being played?
this track is awesome, sounds better than the original neo geo version. this track indeed sounds like a jackson dangerous outtake!
Great gob!!
i always wondered why the snes art of fighting soundtrack was much better than the original arcade version. for some reason, the snes versions were just miles better.
thanks for the tip
Welcome. =)
ese Tema esta bien
0:54 - 1:30 --> Best Arrangement..
確かにカッコいいが、巷でこんなに広がっていることには驚いている。
Where does this version come from? This is amazing. I'd love to get this on mp3.
Is this canon?? Cuz this is tough and I've never heard this version. I bump this like any other of my favorite songs
This needs to be in CVS3 remixed with lyrics.
get ya eagle on
This........ Reminds me of balrog theme from sf2._. In style
Damn, so there's no SPC of this?
Anyone happen to have a MIDI of this?
@Imurge No doubt man.
Mr. Pimp
new jack swing style
very true. it also reminds me of Jane Child's Don't Wanna Fall in Love
@VideoGameStupid Agreed. It's funny how there are a few OSTs for old Neo Geo games (even the ports) that sound infinitely better than their arranged editions -- and how some of the music for the console ports is better than the original Neo Geo music.
Excuse me, but could you post Micky's & Jack's extended remix snes themes?
What's really weird is that it seems to borrow a sample from the Michael Jackson "Why You Wanna Trip On Me."
The little guitar riff seems like a sample anyways. Great use of a sample though. What a fucking amazing track.
Was this produced by jimmy Jan and terry lewis????
90s AF
i tried looking for this track in the same spc music file but failed. are you sure this isnt edited?
I think this is a fan-made extended version of Mr. Big's theme.
In the Art of Fighting version I have it has this song in it..
I wonder if Michael Jackson ever stumbled upon this game & soundtrack...
i wonder who remixed this.......... because it sounds a lot like a song from a sonic game, and it would be great to be remixed with proper instrumental
and from here 0:53 it sounds like a kirby song
It's the arranged soundtrack remade for the snes
this track is my favorite track of a fighting game this sound just like michael jackson in the dangerous era... SNES version is superior than NEOGEO
Mejor este tema que el de kof 96
Every time I listen to this track I think about how lousy the original Neo Geo version is in comparison.
Sorry but don't have them. I didn't even know they existed.
Yeah, mugabesunny, sound-wise, the SNES was superior (The Genesis version of AOF had similar [But lesser-quality] music to the Arcade/Neo Geo version. However, the SNES version of AOF could've been a lot better than it was, gameplay-wise. There were a number of things left out in the Porting from NG/Arc to SNES, which sucks. But the awesome SNES version Soundtrack pretty much makes up for it...
Gameplay wise? Yes. Music wise, sorry but no.
