game composers often take awesome references from music around the world. I'd love to listed if something ever sounded like this in any album (probably something from late 80s or early 90s MJ work)
While I love me some Street Fighter, I always loved the KOF/AOF/FF characters more. I always thought they were far more stylish and interesting than Street Fighter. The devs of SNK had even mentioned how they treated their characters as if they were real people, which is a huge reason why they were so much cooler... I also miss that era of fighting games, was so fun.
Dante Davis Tekken is great, especially the music of the earlier ones- though still there was just something about the SNK fighters, sadly it doesn't exist much today. The fighters I'm working on with some people, especially the characters, are all inspired of that era, I loved it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mr Big's SNES theme is one of the best SNK has ever made and it's completely underrated. His second version is the most polished piece of fighting game music I've ever heard. It outclasses the first version by being more complete and less repetitive. I wish it would come back in later games or albums.
Oh my gosh... This is AMAZING! This is genuinely the complete Mr. Big them in the first Art of Fighting game! 3:23 onwards is just amazing... it's a very unusual mix of nostalgia and passionate notes...
This beat is jamming that's the reason why I like playing this game and buy them calling him Mr Biggs goes to show that he had a lot of swag for him to get a beat like this
Forget the Sticks...! theres something REALLY BADASS about a Bald guy who fights in a Trench coat, a vest with slacks and hush puppies on... along with that Chintrap Goatee... ROFL He doesn't even JUMP! I bet Mr.Bigs attire is still wrinkle free after a fight... even after he loses... xD
Omg I missed this theme so much I can remember how much I use to jam out to this! I'm doing it right now as we speak. And remembering all the sound effects! I miss this game!!!!!
I always thought this theme really fit the grit and steel setting of Big's Factory stage...sometimes I just paused my game to listen to it for what seemed like forever. In hindsight, that was probably not a good idea. :p
este tema de Mr. Big es el que salio en la version del SNES del AOF 1,era de los mejores...y hasta me atrevo a decir que era mejor que la version de Neo Geo
então da uma olhada nessa versão LAKISTRIKE - Chinese Vibe (cover of Lee's Theme from Art Of Fighting). no meu canal tb tem themes do AOF e FATAL FURY se quiser assistir.
Ah the time when games had good music. Used to get to this stage, pause the game, do my homework or clean my room. 80s/90s was a time you appreciated good catchy video game music
Because i know what each of them are capable of. I strongly put my money on Mr. Big because i see him as a very respectable SNK character. Eagle's good but i just think Mr. Big's better.
@Aggrofool I did see it. Doesn't mean a whole lot. You work in South Town you work for Geese. Assuming you're on a plane of existence in which he's even still alive.
Es muy interesante, y quiero mencionar mi punto de vista, MR.BIG, representa muy bien a Europa, al tìpico Alemán, y hasta podria pasar por el Kaiser (emperador Germano), ò por un tìpico cientìfico de la actualidad.
where does his theme 2 come from? Is it in the game? Also, was this ever released in soundtrack form? I ask because I would love to have the soundtrack for the SNES version.
The jam in this song goes so hard. It's a reason why I love video game music so much.
@@mrbigbad9144 They literally made this music better than the arcade! They did!

93' New Jack Swing!
The next time somebody asks me 'how can you sit and just listen to music from games?' I'm just gonna play them this and show them.
Some people are just too shallow to appreciate music from games.
waterwong12
totally agree with you guys... music from games is an artistic thing too. xD
Yeah bro music is music no matter wat its from :-) I feel ya
+Roadkill .Sarny
duuuddeee!!!
WELL SAID ya've earned my respect!
Kenrick Eason agreed ! I love VGM
His theme has been stuck in my head for over 12 years
Make it 20 years now..lol

The kof96 version is much better. More catchy and less edgy.
me too man

Where is the 2nd version what’s it called?
The SNES version of Mr. Big was made by Takara, not SNK IIRC.
For someone with such a funky theme, and a awesome swagger, he needs to be in as many games as Geese
BEST BOSS MUSIC PERIOD.
It's like an early '90s new jack swing beat.
Well AOF did come out in the early '90's,lol.
CrescentGrizzlySlash Michael Jackson style 🎤
It does sound very New Jack swing. It also reminds me of Jane Child's Don't Wanna Fall in Love
It is. 1993 NJS baby!
I always loved the second part. It sounds like high school football fight music the band will play when it's about to be a sure win.
It second part can will making you confidence hear that...I loved this part too.
Mr Big is a Big Daddy with hot girls and money!!!!
Pimpin' ain't easy.
Much much harder to be a prostitute. Pimping is pretty easy.
I knew it.. I know a pimp coat when I see one

Not gonna lie, them threads are 🔥. Mr Big knows what's up.
The snes sound chip made this soundtrack shine and to be honest it's better than the arcade soundtrack...

Best music theme in video game.
If Art of Fighting ever had a video movie adaptation, the Rapper Common would easily take the role as Mr. Big.
You nailed it!!

In Art of Fighting, you don't beat Mr Big, Mr Big beats you!
Bad dum tss. 🥁
Mr. Big should be in the next Smash.
Mr.Big is Shaft in disguise.. you're damn right he is!
Shut yo mouth!

Yeah, the Shaft from the early 90's.
Best beat ever in a fighting game! Get's you hyped for the final battle with Mr. Karate!
Mr Big the KOF Pimp, Respect!
He always had a cool theme
I think I found one of the best character themes in all of gaming history. :D
This was my childhood and very first video game, Art of Fighting 💕
One of the best themes to come out.
sound like pop rnb, better than the arcade version
Alright, Mr. Big! ;D
If there is ever a CvS3, Mr. Big vs Eagle!
i know it been 13 years and you might not see it but i agree with you it would be awsome
Mr Big theme be popping🎶
The most surprisingly awesome game theme ever. SNK was always a step ahead.
I think the SNES sounds better than the Arcade version
Right.
Every spec of it.. Who in the hell makes their inferior ports sound better than their Superior original?
it's a fact, for most of the ost
for mr big and lee only for me. the rest i prefer on the neo
Mr Bigs theme, Mickeys theme and Karate's theme sounds better than the arcade version
Best theme song.
Para mi el mejor tema de art of fighting!!!!!,me trae buenos recuerdos de mi niñez y con mr.Big se podian hacer varios bugs.
nice song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this theme! Remind me of good times, great video!
Mr. Big's theme from Art of Fighting 1992 on the SNES is the only one I liked, and you have delivered :) thank you

The JAM!!!!!!
I randomly had this song in my head and had to look it up. Such a good late 80's/early 90's sound, I love it
If you think about it, Mr. Big is just M. Bison's counterpart on Art of Fighting lol
Only movelist wise
Memories
Caralho... gosto dessas duas também, inclusive fazem parte da minha lista de reprodução de ost a ast de games.
I love how everyone is memeing on SNK's Twitter account to add Mr. Big in KOF XV.
Wait what

This theme was my childhood. Did SNK never remix this outside of the Art of Fighting games?
Mr. Big is confirmed as Teddy Riley.
She's got the look,
she's wantin' no break ti~iime~!
Mr Big . after he crush the Competition .
The art has him depicted many different ways. Is he white or black?
Answer: Yes.
One thing we know for sure he has that pimp swagger..
