I had the Genesis version as a kid. I always liked that one. Then in high school my friend introduces me to this and my mind was blown. Someone just said fuck it and threw down a mean ass track just to do it.
I'm still astonished as to how good the soundtrack was for the SNES version. It's like they decided to completely rearrange it for that version and ended up making it even better than the arcade version.
@@kenrickkahn Takara were the ones who did the music for the SNES. They definitely gave us some bangers. My other favorite one was Geese's on Fatal Fury Special. I liked that on better than the Neo Geo version as well.
@@jeffbayard4368 Definitely. Also I'd recommend playing it even now. This theme rings so much harder when you've really fought to it. Though the console version differs slightly.

It was honestly kind of amazing that they made such a tough character and he couldn't even jump. You'd think that would be a huge disadvantage. But then he changes that narrative. With two sticks.
The music of this game, particularly the SNES version which I feel is best. Inspired a martial arts comic I used to draw as a kid. I'm redoing it, along with the other I used to draw (which was more sci-fi fantasy). If it ever becomes a game, I'd have a beat-em-up style. I had called it "Path of Carnage", but then later used the Japanese wording and Kanji for it, which I thought was more beautiful, "Shura".
@@NotaPizzaGRL Oh when it's done, I will be making videos and advertising it everywhere. My brother will be helping with that. As things get closer, I'll be setting up a youtube channel for all of that.
@@NotaPizzaGRL I'll be getting back into the martial arts project (as it's called lol), after I finish this first one, since it's most special. My friend who worked with me in creating the game back in high school had passed away. The game was very much inspired by Chrono Trigger, but you didn't travel time, just other planets, it was all sci-fi fantasy. He was supposed to be terminated because he is considered an abomination and threat on his home world, due to a mutation he is born with. This is a sketch of the main character's portrait. 0:53 wait hold on a sec, so this theme is even better than I thought with that segment. This went from 10/10 to 100/10
This one came with Super Famicom Magazine
@@SUCKERKINGwhich could be part of a potential Smash 6 remix.
Renting the SNES version of this game was a dream back in the day, and this bop is still legit.
I own it since 30 years and a half.
After decades, this beat still bangs! Nice
New Jack Swing.
Only SNK to make a masterpiece like this!
"Over so soon?"
A-HaHaHaHa!!

Would suit Invasion at the House of Horrors for Kirby.
Exactly
This wasn't composed by SNK, but Takara
I want this theme to get an MSH CPS2 remix.
Have the Super Famicom Magazine bits integrated.

They sho did bro!
Way superior to the neo geo version
It still blows my mind to think that they chose to make the SNES version better than their Neo Geo version in terms of music..

Love this beat. The SNES OST was and still is the best Art of Fighting soundtrack.🔥💚
It's nuts how much this blows the arcade version out of the water.
This theme rocks!
Absolute banger!
Todo un clasico. Buen trabajo amigo
You're the real Mvp for extending this !!
Sounds better than the Arcade version.
You bet pal! Amazing song
It's not the same song.
@@FoodEater1986 Yeah No Shit Sherlock!
This has always reminded me of Michael Jackson's Jam. And Mr. Bigs arcade theme reminds me of a Prince track from the early 90's.
Same!
I assume it's the snare drum that makes you feel that way, it sounds exactly the same as the one used in Jam.
Though I've never listened to this, or played an art of fighting game before. I still feel a sense of nostalgia with this song
chasdat1248 probably because it sounds like 1990’s New Jack Swing.

Amazing job on this remix. It sounds exactly like it would of been in the game. 😀😀👍👍
I. Bet if they played this track in a club it would pass
Ha! Delicious...
Compare this to the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive version and you will cry 😢
