- I go to Karachi's famous Burns Road Food Street for some authentic Pakistani street food and end up finding so many restaurants from Delhi, India there! It turns out a lot of these restaurants came to Karachi during partition.
I get hit by an egg while vlogging and a knight in shining armour tries to tell me how to act around Women. A kid even thinks I'm Peter McKinnon. It was a weird and eventual day in Karachi, Sindh.
We'll try the special Dhaga Kebab which is only binded by string. No additives are used to bind the meat together. So it's a super juicy kebab! We'll also eat Karachi Haleem, Dahi Bhalle, Chai, and more on Karachi's oldest and most famous food street.

I got stomach infection from this food tour btw 😅 All ok now. Got it again in Sialkot too. Update: To the people saying I got sick from mixing different foods with chai or whatever, that's not true. Stomach infections come from eating contaminated food or water. It's when a bad bacteria or a parasite enters your stomach. I've had enough infections in India & Pakistan to know what I'm talking about. The best way to confirm an infection, and therefore know which drug to use to treat it, is through a stool sample test. Locals have immunity to such things. For example, my Wife and I can eat/drink the same thing, and only I'll get sick 😂 My stomach is definitely getting stronger though, and I get sick less often these days.
Brother an advice for you.
Never ever eat spices after a Sweet dish.
I have seen you ate spicy food then Sweet, then Chai, then again dhaga kabab, after that Dahi bhary, and yet again Chai.
So its totally got mixed up.
Always and always eat Sweet after food.
Its also a sunnah in Islam, and its also good from scientific perspective as it helps in Digestion.

Someone commented that Karl's videos make him tense, and I agree. I really worry about this guy specially in Karachi. An egg thrown at him, a cop watching while he eats fish and then escorting him back to his hotel, another telling him a woman is passing by and doesn't want to be photographed, etc. It's a dangerous place to be.
I get you. It seems to be that way as any kind of foreigner in any kind of relatively smaller area, particularly if it's more conservative. He has a good attitude but isn't a pushover and I think that serves him well; I would definitely be embarrassed and flustered as another kiwi guy lol. Luckily he seems to be an agreeable and likeable guy and the good outweighs the bad.

Victoria certainly had the most Covid but yeah we’re now Safe. Yeah Sydney is awesome but I think it’s too expensive, especially Darling Point and Bellevue Hill, plus the temperature reaches 40 deg during summer. Overall I prefer Melbourne but for sure Sydney is a better place to visit and the best city in Australia:) 🇦🇺

I think because the women were just standing there he assumed without asking them that they wanted to cross the streets without being on camera. Many muslim women don’t want to be on camera because of pardah. I think he was just looking out for them, many men do that here when a woman seems uncomfortable they try to help. I once wanted to get on a bridge and a cow was blocking my way and im scared of cows so I just stood there waited for the men to move the cow and they immediately understood and moved her. Many men help women here and I think his intentions were the same. I think the the concept of Karen doesn’t apply here he talked politely while they would call the cops, scream or sound incredibly irrational.

That's why you can find many restaurants and businesses named after their ancestral cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Meerut, Bombay and Deccan in Karachi. They speak Urdu as their first language like most Muslims in India.
Technically everyone in Pakistan was an Indian before independence ,but I got ur point.

I love this channel brother. I love their food too. I am Brazilian and I wish I could go there taste all their food like this. The indian and paskitani cuisines are fantastic from my experience in the very few restaurants I can find in Brazil and from when I lived for a while in Australia (they have more because of their closer location). Across Emirates, Qatar, Saudia, and many international and domestic flights, Turkish Airlines has had by FAR the best food across the board. When others decreased the quality of their service throughout the pandemic, TurkAir did the opposite and is now my favorite airline. My only complaint is that they give you TOO much food 😂

Love how kept going through it all I love to see how positive and optimistic you are, Karl. I also live in Delhi most time of the year and I left due to heavy discrimination I experienced last year year because of how I look people are calling me 'China' And Corona everywhere, btw I am from Manila Philippines. I am so decided to go to Pakistan in June this year and I just wanna make sure that discrimination is not as heavy as what I've experienced in India. Please make a content about it discrimination if there is? while youre in Pakistan, would love love love to know. Thank you!
I am a Nepali with Chinese like features as well living in Bangalore and I never experienced any discrimination and it depends as discrimination exists everywhere in the world!!

Being told that I cannot enter a restaurant or travel by bus because the bus company do not accept foreigner. Maybe if I could speak Hindi at least it would make a difference? Like yourself.

I would rather go to the Philippines any day instead of Pakistan or India. The people seem rude and stare, there’s a good amount of terrorism, people get sick a lot from the food in India and you can’t even brush your teeth with the water, and it also smells terrible in a lot of India and the air quality is terrible for your lungs.

Getting bad stomach is horrible, I always travel with charcoal tablets or pepto bismol ( take before eating street food if you think it’s questionable ) I have had enough bad experiences to say this helps so so much. :) best of luck on your further travels!
