Greetings from T.O Canada 🇨🇦 , great show . My family lived in Pakistan 🇵🇰 ( Lahore ) in the mid 70s before heading off to Canada . Pakistan has it all great people and food . I hope to visit in the near future .
As someone who's a Pakistani American, it's awesome to see people traveling there and shedding the bad monikers of the country. Haven't been there in almost 15 years due to work/schooling but it's definitely on my bucket list when things slow down again in life. Glad you had a great time in the country!

Just to give you little information on last yellow colour vegeterian food is .called
Kadhi pakoda ..and it's made of basic ingredients of chickpea powder ( bason) and buttermilk ( lassi) ... and not ginger..as your host was not correct to explain you ... and it has pakodas ( fritters ) in it.
...it seems you really enjoyed..fried fish ..and mutton nihari....and to top it all ...kheer.
