Everyone should be so lucky to have such a bond in their lives.
Jason told his reason why he chose Carly over Sam & that's bc he truly believed that Sam couldn't make that decision bc she wouldn't ever want to let him go & in the past Sam fought for Jason to live with everything she had in 05' she told Jason she would do anything to keep him alive even if he didn't like it so he knows she wouldn't be able to do it but I think the writers wrote it this way Sam is hurt that Jason chose Carly over her this leaves her venerable to Valentin & it will be easier for him to convince Sam to give him Scout & Danny's ELQ stock if he can help her get off parole to be with Jason & I think Jason chose Carly bc he knew Sam would do like Sonny & hold on until the end & Jason doesn't want that for her or himself.
Because Jason sees how Sonny dealt with Mike and how he makes an agonizing life decision for Mike, I understand and get why Jason chose Carly as his POA so I don't blame him.
This episode was amazing. Love the recap at the beginning, the filming, the classic "the role of _____ will be played by ____", the dialogue, it really is giving me old GH vibes. Keep it up and thank you all!

Jason and Carly go way back. Their bond is special. Sonny understands and acknowledges that bond. Carly knows that Brenda will always have a special place in Sonny’s heart and mind . Facts. Carly also keeps Sonny grounded. I only wish Jason had a Carly version in his life. While Sam is strong she can’t think straight when it comes to Jason. Both Brenda and Sam see Sonny and Jason respectively as a lifeline . Carly can handle her own AND save both men..

Sam going to get tired of Jason, how he always putting Carly and Sonny above her. Now he giving Carly legal rights to take him off the machine to let him die,. No matter what, Jason should've giving Sam rights to that option.
All Jason has to do is fill out an advanced directive, which is a legal doc stating his medical wishes. Then Sam wouldn't have to make that choice it would be out of her hands but it also doesn't make it seem like he trusts Carly more than sam.
I think now is the decision for sam even harder to let jason go because he 'died' in 2012, and when they slept together in 2019 she said straight forward how afraid she was that he will leave her and not coming back. it is a difficult decision but i agree the writers wrote the intentions really bad, i am not sure if the writers really want to have a happy end for jason and sam. they have the bad parole officer, kristina said straight in sams face carly and sonny always come first and in this situation sam could feel like jason loves them more and loves sam less and less

I don't think that the GH writers and director didn't go back in time for what Sam did back then & said that she would honor Jason's wishes back then and that Sam would do that again she would honor Jason's wishes again now if it does happen when that time comes! I don't think that Jason wasn't thinking about what Sam would have say to Jason now! But what she said to Jason was thank you for that but she can't & walked out of the conference room at GH hospital & was upset and sad 😢! I think that GH writers and director need to go back & look at the time of 2005 & 2011 twice before they got married back then!

Doctors are legally bond to honor a DNR at that point. Then Carly nor Sam would have to make the choice and honestly Carly is so needy for him I believe she wouldn't be able to let him go.
