Yeah, very good old Zur combo was Puzzle Box, Necropotence, and Chains of Mephistopheles. You just dig for counters to protect your combo and mill everyone else out. It's ghastly, like if Leovold took the night off but called up his crazier relative to fill in.
This is true however the Nekusar triggered draw does go on the stack :)
Great game, great channel! I like the power level you guys play at and there's just enough table chatter to give the games some flavor without dragging it out for 1-2 hours like a lot of others. Keep it up!

Will always root for a shorikai player even if im at the table. Espically if they try to use the megazord card

Fellwar Stone would've tapped for any color of mana (at the end) cuz of City of Brass :) wouldn't have made a difference, but still...fellwar stone and exotic orchard are weird cards 😂

I'd like to see this match replayed as draw triggers then puzzle box. Potentially a totally different outcome. Additional damage as well since your drawing 2 with Nekusar so the minimum damage per turn was 4.
I took my dog out for a walk as they were playing this game, but we usually play Teferis Puzzle box correctly if you check out our other videos.

it might be different, from what people define high power EDH. For me High power is a 7 or 8-power deck, so just under cEDH, it lacks the high value (money wise) fast mana that cEDH plays, so no mox diamonds, no LED, no grim monolith. But I see that you don't define it that way, because I see a mox diamond on the table.
We don’t think one piece of fast mana or free counterspell makes it cedh automatically. More so if you have all of that at the same time.
