I have really enjoyed watching your videos since I found your channel a few weeks ago 😍🛥️ And I am so excited for you with more than 1.6 million views on your previous vlog 😮👌🏼And a nice increase of subscribers. Well deserved ❤️
Yea they were absulte jerks... Why do people have to be so ignorant and mean... People like this are exactly why our country is going to hell... Love thy neighbor... It isn't that hard people geez...
Yeah those travel lift operators liked hearing themselves holler. You told them before the boat was caught in the slings good that you wanted the back straps to come ahead a foot. I'd have been a whole lot more insistent with them than you were, Gus.
THIS is exactly the kind of video I need in my life; fixable problems, project boat that I'll never buy. THANK you for doing what you do for our entertainment.
I hear ya...At least it gives people motivation to maybe give something a try, on a smaller scale. That thang is alot of boat, really getting up there for a single person. I'm just wondering where this young Dude gets his money, I did hear in one of his videos his parents live near west palm beach or something, that's a clue
Those guys on the crane don't care what they damage...just get the boat up n out. Good for you directing them to protect the running gear and stabilizers. I would literally paint a small section of contrasting color on the rail so you know where those strap points are for any future pull out - an ounce of prevention
I must admit. You should give a little shout out to the port that hauled it out of the water for you. A negative one. The rudeness of that guy. I’d tell him to just put it back down and leave. Treating paying customers like that is amazingly stupid. It’s your boat he was about to wreck.
I'm just at the point where they are lowering it down to readjust and had to pause to come find a comment about those guys. They all seem like assholes, especially dealing with something so big and expensive
This is what a good captain does. He knows every single square inch of his vessel. He is an expert on all of its systems. He knows what to look for, what to listen for and even what to smell and touch for. He does not wait for shit to break and become more expensive than it should if it was just maintained in a timely fashion. He does not fear any of his systems for he is the master of them and the caretaker of them. He delights in seeing these things work as designed and he revels in the moment. Good on you Captain.
I'm an old man and CAN'T do this anymore, but dude, you said that there is nothing else that you would rather be doing today, on your Birthday. I am jeallous, there is nothing else that I would rather be doing, either. You have EARNED this and are fully prepaired and WILLING to do what ever is required to do what ever is necessary....Correctly! I am proud of you, you are the 1% of YOUR generation!!!!!
Excellent comment and I agree. Gus and his friends are the exception for his generation. They’re all real go-getters and not afraid of work. Makes me hopeful for the country.
WOW, lifting her out of the water....serious pucker factor...then seeing you on the ground beside her really puts how big she is into perspective...just awesome.
FYI noise canceling is not hearing protection! It only cancels the noise at the opposite but equal sound level of the noise, so you're not reducing the pressure on your eardrums. Proper earplugs/muffs are a MUST!
My son is a Doctor of Audiology and agreed, mwiz. Take care of your hearing my friend. I wish I had when I was on those train diesels with loud air brakes valves, air horn at every crossing, plus the diesel engines - but mostly the air brake valves were literally deafening. I wear hearing aids now and they are just that - aids - but not your own ears, i.e. not the same and a pain.
I was using my earbuds last night while lying on a V16 quad turbo 2500 hp engine running cables. They are crap for dealing with high noise. 100% What noise did i have to cancel ?? The absolute crap music being played at just over the pain threshold at that work shop! Bloody crap taste these days 11 1/2 hrs on that 930e and shit music all bloody night! Get decent ear plugs and your ears will love you for it!
I like wearing my Walker's Razor Slim Quad Electronic Bluetooth Earmuffs. They have good sound and low profile. I worked Avionics on CH46E helicopters in the Marines. I have ringing in my ears from my tour during operation Restore Hope on the USS Wasp back in 93. I worked the flight deck on night shift around Black Hawks (keep low and your head lower still), CH-46E, 53's, Hueys and Harriers. Learn from me, hearing loss is no joke and the ringing is annoying. I even wore double hearing protection at the time with earplugs and muffs over that. Get the best hearing protection you can afford.
Agreed, that advert was a little disturbing because some who do not know, will think it is safe to use buds instead of proper hearing protection. :( Please update it to say that buds are not safe hearing protection.
I took a noise abatement class in college as part of the course work and would always question the Prof , if sound is energy which it is how then does opposite cancelling frequncies eliminate the noise? COnsider " Matter and Energy cannot be created nor destroyed" therefore it must be noise plus opposite noise!
I know this boat .I keep my boat on the Back River Bay Hampton virginia. This boat hasn't left the marina in over 7 years. Good luck..She is a beautiful craft..
That boat has been waiting its whole life for you to take care of it and sort out all its issues, a match well made, Josh seems like such a good like minded friend for you, Gus you truly are living the dream and thanks for bringing us all along with you.
I am an old diesel mechanic of 40 years love watching your engine room work an trouble shooting the systems . You seem to have a good grasp of things good luck I will keep watching.
I agree with you he's not afraid of Detroit diesels when I first started working on them 30 years ago when I heard that they can take off on you didn't understand them took me awhile to figure them out and work on them and not be scared of them
I operated a ferry that had those Detroit diesels and they ran 18 hrs a day everyday . Probably put 250,000 miles on them over 25 years noisy but dependable. Your videos are awesome, your are a born seaman and great storyteller, thanks bud.
In your video, you asked if anyone knew these boats ? It's your lucky day ! Iam 63 and have worked on many Browards including new builds and refits . Feel free to contact me.
I’ve wanted to live on a boat my entire life. Gus’ videos are about as close as I can get for now lol. Keep up the great work Gus! I’m really enjoying your journey.
I too have always had a desire for a boat, never really took it seriously but for some reason youtube has recently been recommending channels with price breakdowns on them and I am shocked by how cheap it can be potentially.
I’m right there with you wanting to live on a boat. I’d like a sail boat or a catamaran - the dream is real, somehow I’ll get there and I hope you do also!
Wish I saw this sooner! I work in Portsmouth, saw this boat on the docks a few months ago! It's awesome to see Gus working on getting it more seaworthy!
Hey man, I almost had my 52MY sink in the slip because the raw-water intake to the generator had a brass and glass strainer that corroded and broke. Water came shooting into the engine room and by the time I realized it, the water was 12" deep. Please make sure you check those through-hulls and that their petcocks work! :D
I’m 847 years old and am living vicariously through your journey because my legs, arms, and back are all no longer in service. I lost faith in these youngsters back in the 1700’s cuz they were getting soft, but you have restored my faith in humanity. Thanks Gus!
What's your secret, I'm only 53yrs old so to you I should still be in nappies but what I will mention is just about everything in my body is stuffed, so I definitely won't make it to 847yrs old I'll be lucky to last till I'm able to claim my retirement.
Gus, I just sat in the house watching almost four hours of your journey on your 70 foot yacht. You are not only a damn amazing mechanic, you are a master captain. When you came into Cape Cod I felt that because Massachusetts is my home, I spent many years on the Cape. Keep up the good work and don’t forget to post more videos because I need something to watch at 1:00 and 2:00 am when I can’t sleep and that’s everyday. Great job.
Gus! Heres a good boat name for you - “just go with the (GUS)T!” Fellow Portland Mainers here, and the hubs and I truly enjoy watch your channel. You’re probably one of the most down-to-earth dudes on here, and that’s the way it should be. We have truly enjoyed seeing your channel bud and grow into something that you truly enjoy and proud of. Trust us, it shows naturally! . You’re a go getter! Congrats on 100k and keep kicking butt 🎉
@@FrankYammy not a free trip Josh is like the old indentured servants of the 1600's who worked their way to The New World in order to enjoy new world freedom, being on a boat is freedom to Josh and Gus!
You are a phenomenal young man. I have never seen a person with a greater positive outlook, and drive despite the challenges. I pray you all the success that life holds.
Me being risk averse, I thank you for letting me see you assume all risk as I watch and learn not to fear water, storms, breakdowns, drama. You being young makes all the difference.
Its nice to finally see someone who actually knows how to do shit take on a challenge like this. Its also refreshing that you dont try and give us a tutorial on how to fix shit most of us don't and never will own, and you just show what youre working on and why. Then its on to the next thing to tackle, you dont drag out one little project or task for the views. Keep doing what youre doing!
So real Story here. I am someone who consumes nearly everything what i find on TH-cam. I watch a Video and mostly never go Back to that Channel again, except a New Video got shown on the Frontpage. Your last Video also was a recommendation from TH-cam, but this Time i stayed. I loved the Video. I knew i you felt after the Motors started. I felt the Joy this Boat gives you and thats the reason why i stayed.
Hey... You are a Work ANIMAL..! You are an inspiration to a whole generation of people who just sit in front of Computer screens ! (Ummm.. Yes.... i do get the Irony that i am saying this as i sit in front of my computer screen...! ) Anyway..! You are a consummate problem SOLVER... and deserve the life you have created.. Congrats on it all....
Dude! I see you running around barefoot in the engine room, and just fixing stuff left and right with no stress. I swear you must have been born between two frickin HUGE swells with salt water in your veins! You can just tell that you love your life. Thanks for bringing us along for a fun ride!
I am an old woman aged 77 and you one of my favorites here on You Tube. I think you should be able to find a capable mechanic's helper and awesome girlfriend to join you on these voyages, I would hope my grandson in Florida would do something like this but his parents already have a yacht and maybe the motivation isn't as great. We had a 23-foot boat and mostly fished in the Delaware Bay, but I understand your thrill of seeing New York City when you went up the Hudson. I took cruise ships to Canada, the Bahamas and the Carribean and most of the cruises left from the NY's piers in the Hudson River cruising by the twin towers. Actually, it was the best part of the cruise.
I don’t know anything about boats. I’ve been on one or two in my life, but somehow your videos have found their way onto my TH-cam and holy crap, I’m transfixed. Your enthusiasm and your passion is so infectious and uplifting. Your videos are so well made and I’m looking forward to watching everything you’ve made in the past and everything that you will make in the future!
Roger that comment - we have the same attitude here on the Oriental Lady! Sometimes adventure cannot wait - you just got to figure it all out underway and hope that the spares box will sort you out......
Absolutely loved this episode, and the one before. We jumped in at the deep end nearly 4 years ago and bought a 57 footer with absolutely no boating experience at all, and are still alive to tell the tale, a positive attitude overcomes all! Gus dude, you are grabbing life with both hands and giving it a good old shake. You are making memories and inspirating folks across many generations. Well done you. Your positivity is on show here and it will take you so far in life. Keep living the dream mate. We will go deep into your back catalogue when we get a minute and watch your Bella videos. Love it.
Be sure swap your V-belt before it snaps and shreds. My 7.3l idi had it's V-belt do that when it was so loose. Yours is only a single belt, so you don't need to worry about them being from the same batch or anything, and you might have a tensioner on your engine. Oh, and go with the obvious boat name of "In Too Deep". Makes sense for a boat, too.
Gus, My wife and I have been watching you since you got the Albin . We enjoy your energy, optimism, and amazing abilities. Yeah, we are older and like many wish we could join you but love our life in Alaska too. This video really touched me when you mentioned your Dad's birthday which is the same as my Fathers. He would have been 104. Cherish your time with him. From an ole' retired Coastie and his wife.
Gus. You are "don't worry, be happy" personified. I worry more than you do. But then I have the scars of. 50 years plus on the water. Good luck with the boat.
I just thought of it as a trailer home but on water most are either 60 foot or 80 foot this is 70 basically a mobile home on the water 😂, and that’s not small
I've lived such wonderful bitter sweet occasions with newly purchased, large, old, depreciated, and neglected yachts. I enjoyed EVERY minute of your saga. Keep plenty of oil on board. Clean high amperage cable connections-- 32 volts is scary, and fire prone -- and tighten and/or replace raw water pipe clamps... and get yourself a wide angle closed circuit video for the engine room so you can constantly monitor Likely the turbos need rebuilding... those Detroits are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. ....and you're exactly right.... keep the old girl running and enjoy every minute.
I used to work on diesel engines. The absolute best way to get rid of the staining on your skin is to first loosen it with clean oil, then wash with good soap. Hope that helps. Love the videos!
While you were in Portsmouth, going under the Enuff you were literally a block away from my house. I wish I knew you were there. I would’ve walked down the street and said hi. Keep it up brother! 💪🏾💯
Every time I watch your videos it puts a smile on my face it brightens my day it lifts me up and let me know that I can turn my junk into things that make me happy. Thank you so much gus. I truly appreciate you and I love what you do keep your head up and keep going brother we need a shining light like you in the world today full of evil. God bless you sir
I’m not here to criticize and I’m not looking for things to to negatively say. But my friend please put a pair of safety glasses next to the bench grinder for that wire wheel. I would hate to see a piece of wire go through your eyeball. This is mh second video of yours to watch and I’m hooked. What a dream you a are living!
Alright, you convinced me!! I want a boat, a big one! Got no idea about them, etc, but I got the mechanic and fixing stuff part down, and Im a good learner!
Maybe in the future, have some strap markers on the hull for future hull outs. Will save allot of guess work. Look forward to restoration work. What a beats of a boat.
You are awesome. I love watching your videos. It takes me back to my boating days with my now departed husband. We renoed a 50 ocean and a 50 trawler. Best time of our lives.
Noise canclelling is not hearing protection. Noise cancelling works by pushing out an interfering audio wave to try and balance out the audio coming in. It does not reduce stress on ear drums and is not 100% effective
Get yourself a good set of coveralls when you go into the engine room. It will save your normal clothes from oil stains. Excellent video and I enjoy watching. All the best Rocky from the UK. 🇬🇧
Don't give up on those Detroits. The oil is always black because of the engine design. They create a lot of soot, and even when they have a lot of blow by, will still fire right up and last for years. Lots of them last 30,000 hours or more. Detroit puts more money in R&D than any other manufacturer. You're an amazing person Gus! Loved the video
I appreciate you. I have no idea why your videos appeared on my feed, but I’m glad it did. You’re a very likable guy. Looking forward to the next update. Josh looks like a cool dude too. I love my life, but I’m living vicariously through you two, if only for a couple hours! :)
Gus, about charging your tablet, that ballistic protector case on it is blocking the cord from going all the way in. Try taking the case off and see if it works, if it works you can make your cord narrower with a knife so it goes all the way in, hope that helps.
I bought my first boat last year, a 70' Hat, and she has the same engines. Everyone has told me three things... one if they are not seeping, they are not running and two, don't fill them totally full and three, if you take care of them, they'll outlive you! On the high pressure line, make sure you take the old hoses in and have them matched. The guys "eyeballed" one and it didn't fit right, so I had to remove the fitting from the engine to take it in for them to match again because I tossed the old hose, so don't toss the old ones until you know the new ones fit. =-) I love your new boat. She's a beauty and you are right... you're going to enjoy the heck out of it!
Wait you bought a 70ft boat as your first one? That’s craaazyy, good luck hope you enjoy it. Bought my first boat last year, a solid 14ft with a 60hp outaboard hahaha, it has been great fun.
@@andronclock1 Well, I did have some boating experience... just hadn't ever owned one lol My tender is the same size as your first boat lolol =-) 14' with a 60HP yamaha!
It may seem obvious but I like the name “In Too Deep” not only is it your channels name, but it sums buying a vessel like that, sums up what your channel is about, I couldn’t think of a better name for her that what you’ve already named your channel.
You’re the only channel I can watch 2+ hours of videos and be sad it’s over! I don’t even know anything about boats either, but you make it so interesting and your positive vibe is contagious :)
G"day from australia, it is a pleasure to watch someone grab life with both hands and live their dreams. I am 57 retired marine mechanic and about to give what your doing a go. You have definitely inspired me, thanks for sharing mate.
I started this video and I was like man what did he get himself into. But after spending all this time watching the process. This yacht is actually really nice.
This is so much fun to watch! I can feel your joy! Although I'm never taken on a project of that size I'm all about throwing my self into projects well above my current skill level and knowledge. I've got that "bug" from my dad who was exactly the same. Although back then there was no internet to learn from. He travelled through a war torn Europe in the 50's on an old husqvarna motorcycle that probably was from WW1 repairing it as he went along. He built his own house in the 60's by hand together with his wife and with help from a neighbor. He knew all there was to know about motors and mechanics. He was a middle school teacher and tought ALL subjects himself, wood shop, math, history, gymnastics. We had several sail boats that he refurbished. He was also an accomplished guitar builder. And a highly skilled musician. The list of what he knew and had skills in never ends. He used to say he never really learned how to weld or play the trumpet properly 😂 I guess this is what happens if you have ADHD and don't get to use it as a excuse to not learn anything
Awesome job getting that bottom side cleaned up, that’s got to improve the boats performance. Yeah the guys at the Delaware boat yard were salty logs, but these are the types getting it done everyday, and we all need to appreciate that it takes all types to make it work. Much respect for what you’re doing, keep the content coming.
been working on diesels longer than youve been alive, and id never critisize what you do. I take my hat off to you..that said... A1 on a steak?? Thats a serious PARTY FOUL!!
I’ve always dreamed of doing this…sadly my sea sickness is so bad I wouldn’t make it 10 minutes :) thanks for letting us live vicariously thru Gus! Warms my heart to see young men who know their way around an engine room! Pretty impressive as captain & crew one man show.
Great job guys. I had a the same fuel problem My a client's boat. What I did to take care of the fuel problem is find the company that does fuel tank cleaning. They have this nozzle that sprays inside the tank at 360degs mean while pump the fuel into 4 to 6 filters until it comes clean. No fuel wasted, it doesn't matter how much fuel on board . Pumps out and in at the same time. The price is not bad considering how many hours you spend changing fuel filters and cartridges I have this boat done in Fort Lauderdale I'm sure they have the same here in mass. I'm from RI BTW. Enjoy the boat. If you have any questions hit me up Guy
I am loving your channel. I bought a 40' yacht, A 1999 Maxum 3700 SCR. It's my first boat and we haven't gotten her into the water yet. I've done a lot of work on her. But man YOUR channel and your enthusiasm is EXACTLY why we do what we do. Why we love nature, the waves, the water, sunsets abs Freedom. Nothing represents Freedom now to me than a boat. Thank you for you doing what you do. I'm jealous.. 😊 Awesome!
Happy Birthday Gus!! You have a really cool boat this time. It is a real experience for all of us to watch you work and get her back in ship shape. Your mechanical skills are off the charts. Cheers from Austin, TX
I just spent two of the most lovely hours watching Gus on his 700-mile Northern venture in his "new" yacht. Gus is delightful, to start with. I love boating and grew up on Buzzards Bay in the summers, was born in Atlantic City, and live part-time on a tiny island south of Miami, and also on the not-so-tiny isle of Manhattan. I learned so much from your journey up to and through NYC. So much of it I had never seen from a boating perspective. I loved the adventure and will surely be following you from now on.🤣⚓
Just started following you - I have a 27m 6,5m beam Aluminium Italian Built Motor Yacht Lying Tower Bridge London United Kingdom - i need someone like you to spend a few months on her getting her ship shape - if you ever fancy a few months in the City of London i can certainly help with the financial support, rains a lot here but a beautiful city - you are so brave to take on such a challenge, however your engineering background makes you fearless, good luck to you on your journey and a word of warning the bigger you go the deeper you get in, good luck and i look forward to seeing how you get on
I'd like to see more natural sound start ups, and throttle-ups. Also, more footage navigating the canals. How do you handle tight corners, approaching vessels, multiple vessels, and also just some of the cool other boats you see along the way, calling out what they are and what you like about them. Not timelapsed or music, just the raw sound in realtime. That's what takes us there. Great channel!
Man your living the dream. Enjoy your youth time is fleeting! When you get old you will have such great adventures to remember. Keep doing what your doing, love your videos!
My last haulout, 35 foot fin keel sailboat, the boatlift crew was utterly focused and professional. The crane load gauge indicated significant imbalance, so back into that water to have the slingd repositioned. Operator was a trained, but he was being fully supervised and guided. Port Townsend, Washington, Boat Haven
Former coast guardsman (USCG) here. Im addicted to this channel since the last video. Went back and watched all the Hatteras videos. Stay safe out there. Make sure you have an epirb and a PLB!! Clip it to you at all times when you are alone! That's the CG in in me.
yeah i agree with having a plb attached to you especially when you at the stern of the boat when your underway, if you fall off and the skipper is looking foward he wont see or hear you go over board. even more so if you the skipper and everyone else is asleep
Loving what he is creating but some of what he is doing is a bit sketchy. Poking around a shaft spinning at 500rpm, missing rail guard, no PLB, running a zodiac at night with no lights, I could go on. It only takes one mistake to end the channel - take a look at some amateur pilots who thought making a good YT video was more important than safety (RIP TN fly girl).
Thank you for all of the support on the last video. I am beyond excited for what the future holds with this boat.

.I keep my boat on the Back River Bay Hampton virginia.
I agree with you he's not afraid of Detroit diesels when I first started working on them 30 years ago when I heard that they can take off on you didn't understand them took me awhile to figure them out and work on them and not be scared of them
The video makes me feel confident on being able to work on a boat like this! First one would be much smaller tho
Can you fit rocket engines to them to make them hydroplane and do the sound barrier? Cause that would be cool and I think we all want to see that.
@@jrussell5243 russell you are just crazy !
@@jrussell5243 only 37' and under can handle rocket boosters

Hi bud is this a fiberglass boat ?

Those night views of NYC and the Statue of Liberty are stunning! Absolutely beautiful.

I’m a Caterpillar marine mechanic in Michigan and I throughly enjoy your videos and appreciate your hard work and knowledge! Keep it up man!
Go you ! good man great rap
I’ve wanted to live on a boat my entire life. Gus’ videos are about as close as I can get for now lol. Keep up the great work Gus! I’m really enjoying your journey.
Research Inner Circle Trader, maybe it will help you get closer 🙏
I too have always had a desire for a boat, never really took it seriously but for some reason youtube has recently been recommending channels with price breakdowns on them and I am shocked by how cheap it can be potentially.
I’m right there with you wanting to live on a boat. I’d like a sail boat or a catamaran - the dream is real, somehow I’ll get there and I hope you do also!
Me too brother I’m living my dream life thru Gus
Thanks Gus!
I'll second that
its true, i carbon dated him
Holy!!! 847 years old, this must be some sort of record!!!!!
What's your secret, I'm only 53yrs old so to you I should still be in nappies but what I will mention is just about everything in my body is stuffed, so I definitely won't make it to 847yrs old I'll be lucky to last till I'm able to claim my retirement.
Are you Noah from the ark I think he almost became a thousand years old
Gus, I just sat in the house watching almost four hours of your journey on your 70 foot yacht. Great job.
Well,... 2 hours and 2 minutes of living vicariously as a boat owning / adventurer / mechanic / electrician / ??? I'm in!!! Just made my night!!
🤎
You have a rare and true friend for life in Josh. I'm sure you know this, but treasure him. You get few, if any like him in a lifetime.
I would take a free trip on a yacht like that too!
@@FrankYammy not a free trip Josh is like the old indentured servants of the 1600's who worked their way to The New World in order to enjoy new world freedom, being on a boat is freedom to Josh and Gus!
I just love Gus's endless enthusiasm and optimism.
You are a phenomenal young man. I have never seen a person with a greater positive outlook, and drive despite the challenges. I pray you all the success that life holds.
You can't be a coward to go to sea in a Broward.
Congratulations on 100k
Take care Gus
Your enthusiasm is infectious, wishing you all the best
As a mechanic it just kinda comes with the trade. I've done many motor pulls and tranny r&r in my garage with sandals on.
Why put shoes on... good flooring .. 😂 you cant be that soft..
I’d be shoeless everywhere on this boat
LOL... I love it. "The sun is going down so lets go ahead and see if we can't get these nav lights working."
Roger that comment - we have the same attitude here on the Oriental Lady! Sometimes adventure cannot wait - you just got to figure it all out underway and hope that the spares box will sort you out......
😂😂😂
Not completely happy with this. Yeah Gus.
Every time I want to buy a boat, I watch your video thoroughly, and decide against it. I absolutely love your content!❤
That beautiful old neglected vessel is fortunate to come across a keen owner to bring her back to life
Gus. You are "don't worry, be happy" personified. I worry more than you do. But then I have the scars of. 50 years plus on the water. Good luck with the boat.
The size of that boats does not compute until he pulls it out of the water. What an absolute monster of a vessel.
I just thought of it as a trailer home but on water most are either 60 foot or 80 foot this is 70 basically a mobile home on the water 😂, and that’s not small
Just want to say your positivity and energy make me smile. It's contagious!!
Ive been following your channel for close to 8 months now and I have to say theres a bit of pride seeing you having one of your first channel sponsors
Should call it ‘never enuf’ not a huge change but ties in with the in too deep ambition!
This video had absolutely everything, but oh man, the lights of NYC was beautful to see.
They call them SLINGS and many boats have them.
That's the first time I've watched a 2 hour TH-cam upload.....and I LOVED it.
Well done Kidda.
Always a good day when we get an InTooDeep upload!!!!
I think the appropriate name should be “NEVER ENOUGH”. A combination of your insatiable appetite for adventure and a nod to the boats past.
I thought the same Name!
This is a great name!!

I love my life, but I’m living vicariously through you two, if only for a couple hours! :)
Your parents have to be so proud of the man you have become.
Love the long video format your putting out!
absolutely second that - Gus your attitude and approach to life is inspirational.
I love your new boat. She's a beauty and you are right... you're going to enjoy the heck out of it!
I had 6V92 detroits on a 52 foot Ferretti. Feared them at first, loved them in the end
Wait you bought a 70ft boat as your first one? That’s craaazyy, good luck hope you enjoy it. Bought my first boat last year, a solid 14ft with a 60hp outaboard hahaha, it has been great fun.

The Joke of the week is you giving advice to a guy that I'm sure knows 1000 times more then you.
That never gets old seeing you hit those buttons and those diesels come alive immediately wow😅
It may seem obvious but I like the name “In Too Deep” not only is it your channels name, but it sums buying a vessel like that, sums up what your channel is about, I couldn’t think of a better name for her that what you’ve already named your channel.
It's a great name! I'm on board with that.
He used to say he never really learned how to weld or play the trumpet properly 😂
I guess this is what happens if you have ADHD and don't get to use it as a excuse to not learn anything
You're definitely not nuts you're living the dream. Awesome adventure

Your knowledge of everything "Boat" is freaking amazing!

Warms my heart to see young men who know their way around an engine room! Pretty impressive as captain & crew one man show.
The clouds in the time lapse while you guys were going through the East River was awesome!
If you have any questions hit me up

I could seriously watch extremely long videos from gus, they are so entertaining
My husband and I are really enjoying your videos. Love you excitement. My 60 year old husband just keeps saying “This kids got balls” lol
Same…I laughed at the gallon of Spray Nine at the beginning of the video.
yeah i agree with having a plb attached to you especially when you at the stern of the boat when your underway, if you fall off and the skipper is looking foward he wont see or hear you go over board. even more so if you the skipper and everyone else is asleep
I say u name it “Gusto”. You live your life with passion and energy. You know, gusto.
I don’t get it
