The collective can be easily led astray by narrative influencers. Also people would prefer someone else do the thinking for them unfortunately. Therefore I don’t think the collective voice arises organically at all. I think most of the narratives that upsets the collective enough to start a rokus in the first place are usually top down narratives told by the “authorities.” Imo.
I previously never thought this possible but these days I'm starting to see a lot more evidence of it, particularly with social justice issues. A bit like how someone's fame or success is rarely "organic" and is usually ordained by the powers that be in some way. I don't think either of these things are always the case but I do agree that they quite frequently are.
