    As a licensed Massage Therapist I will tell you that the philosophy of massage therapy - which Cranio Sacral falls under the umbrella of - is that we as practitioners are not doing the healing; we are assisting/helping the client's body to heal. So if you are more comfortable with the term "placebo" that's fine. In essence, the client is healing him or herself - we just help the body to do that.

    This work is really helping me.. I can't believe how it's re-aligning my body after an olde injury from my nursing days... I had seen orthopaedic specialists, Physio therapists over the yrs. since May 2018, I am seen an Osteopath and the outcomes are incredible. Above all, no chemicals and instant relief in my case. Thank you to all the Osteopaths .......

    Im actually using Craniosacro therapy to treat the behavioural difficulties presented in an autistic girl and it has had amazing results. She sleeps better, is more calm and has less tantrums. She actually falls asleep now towards the end of the treatment.

    i'm a massage therapy student and my kinesiology teacher gave a little demo of this in class tonight.. on me and then on another student. I was AMAZED. it was my first time being exposed to this and i couldn't believe the changes he made with only working on me for a few minutes! he did some muscle testing before and after on my quads, adductors, abs, and neck muscles... and after a few quick mini-adjustments to my skull my muscles reacted so much better. i couldn't believe the difference

    I can say personally that I have received a healing from a CST massage. I had a severe sinus infection and was on my second round of antibiotics which weren’t helping. After one (and only one) treatment I was able to breathe out of my nose for the first time in 2 months! After that I became a believer and started the training for myself!

    • @MrSteveo114
      @MrSteveo114 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Isn't it possible that your sinuses just cleared themselves?Maybe the infection was reducing anyway and it just so happened that you had Cranial therapy around the time that this happened?Not having a go at you but don't you think that it's plausible that it was just a coincidence based off of a single well timed experience?Im curious as I'm looking into Cranial work for a health issue I suffer from but I'm not convinced by it.

    omg, my massage therapist does this and I call it the "brain lift" method. It is SO freaking relaxing, unbelievable. I didn't realize that was part of CranioSacral therapy

    Cranial Sacral therapy is perfection for people involved in catastrophic structure jarring accidents. It is not massage therapy. It evolved scientifically from osteopathic medicine.

    HI Michael, thanks for having this available online, I have a CST session today and needed a quick refresher! Thank you so much for my Watsu Tx in Maui years ago, still remember that in the pool during our lunch break! Nice to see you on the NET.

    Massage for Menopause
    A good massage has always been an excellent way to put the mind and body in a relaxed state. With this fact, it can obviously get rid of stress and the signs and symptoms of menopause will also be minimized.

    I get migraines, and when others ask me to massage them, I instinctively do the things this man is describing. Everyone tells others about my techniques. I suck at massage, but I do know what I'd like. Why make nasty remarks about this guy when he's clearly of use to others? Do you know what I'd give to have his help when I've got a migraine?

    It's all quackery tough.. autiusm and adhd are neurological issues and touching and "feeling" someone doesn't have any impact on those. The only benefit cranio sacral therapy give you is a light placebo effect.

      Anyone can do this, if they have developed the palpation skills to feel the flow of cerebral spinal fluid. It took me 7 years of full time massage to develop it.

    Well, they're teaching this at Harvard now, so must be something to it. I've never seen people get so worked up about something, a bit ridiculous really. People are always afraid of what they don't understand.

    • @lorynnheart201
      @lorynnheart201 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Matthew Flaherty You sound extremely stupid by not believing this. It's all very simple to believe if you understand how the body works. I see this CLEARLY and understand why it works. If you do not study the body, are not in the medical field of massage, doctor, nurse, personal trainer or physical therapist etc you don't know enough to even be forming an opinion here.

    • @MarineAqua45
      @MarineAqua45 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Is he? I've had it for the relief of PCS after my TBI & it produced significant results, more so than anti-depressants. It's not a quick fix as I was told by the therapist, as it takes time, but it works. Why do you think NFL football players like Ricky Williams( with injuries like mine) are going for it, at the Uplander Clinic if it doesn't work? Why do you think the US military looks into this treatment & acupuncture therapy then, if it is blatant quackery?
