So I got the bnf version and know there are 2 ways to bind it. One for the rtf and one for a computerized tx. She is fast and agile, stabilized modes are weird to me, but if the 2 beginner was probably better. Intermediate doesn't spool up until you lift the stick but the blades are negatively pitched. It will fly down fast if not careful. Full acro is very reactive, but spools up as expected so is predictable. Once you yet the feel though, you can easily flip it in an average sized room. Fun vid you two! Cheers

I bought a 230 s figuring it would be easier to fly being a little bit bigger and I was told with safe it’s good for learning...first time I took it out couldn’t figure out which switch was set to safe on my dx6 using the file I downloaded from the spektrum website. It went up and I tried to move it to the left it was so sensitive flipped right over and crashed into the grass. Tail bent and canopy cracked lol waiting on the new tail to give it a go again. Might pick this thing up to learn, seems way more durable!

Rc helis are my favorite blade is a great company I have almost all of them little ones are good to learn with because they can handle a crash but the bigger you go the easier and more stable they are once you're past the learning curve lol your always learning with a heli that's why I love them. But once you feel comfortable flying you get hooked. Dragonfly's always come to check out mine I think the sound is similar to there's

@@TheRcSaylors I have the WL Tech V911S as well, but have wanted to try a collective pitch heli, and one with maybe a bit better electronics than the V911S. Hilarious! I have one of these as well, I absolutely love the thing, though I fly it on my SpexDX8 Tx, and after roughly a month with it, I still cant go upsides left down or over, but I will get there. Maybe. The dragon fly thing tho, holy crap mine gets attacked by platoons of the things!!!!!! All I have to do is go low enough to the high grass, and its a full on battle! Gotta be the similar sized wings/blades of them maybe? Great stuff guys!

The first flight mode is called flight mode "Z" , it is supposed to perform like a fixed pitch to help the beginner switching from the 120s. It has a pitch limiter in flight mode "Z" or flight mode 1 on the transmitter. Enjoy it, it's a great office flyer, believe me, I've had a lot of time to fly it this year.

I fly my Blade S70 more often here in the yard than any other thing. This Nano will be my next RC. Also, that is the same transmitter that comes with the Sport Cub S RTF. I'm almost certain it just needs re-binding. If I bind my DX-6e to the Cub, I have to re-bind it to the one that came with the plane afterward.

Hello, always check that the main gear is snugged up on the main shaft. It sometimes slips down and causes problems with pitch. Also, the reason rc helis jump up and down during flight when you hit the "crazy" switch (idle-up) is because they come pre-programmed with different throttle and pitch curves on different switch positions. Your Tx does sound kind of though. Good Luck!!!

@@TheRcSaylors another thing that makes the little helis fly better is if you have the landing gear that holds the 150mah battery you can use the landing gear for the heli that's a little bigger that holds a 200mah battery just that little bit more wight helps a lot for stability and the bigger battery adds just a little more head speed so it still has the same power to wight ratio they fly a lot smoother if you do those two things but for 3d flight use the highest c rating 150mah battery you can find I use lectron pro 45c in mine they work great

@@TheRcSaylors another thing I do is I'll use my Dremel tool to cut down the carbon fiber shaft that the head goes on just about 1/16 you'll have to cut the notch a little down to this will give you more pitch don't know the elevation where you are but I'm in Colorado and and this helps a lot for me and it makes it faster for forward flight too when I fly with other guys they can't believe how fast mine is compared to there's they think I replaced the motor with a bigger one but I only gave it a little more pitch

I Had the Original Nano cpx years ago Loved it.. this winter I got back into Helis was going to pick up the Nano s2 but ended up Garbing the Slightly bigger Blade Mcps love it. but Honestly as a Intermediate Heli Pilot I'm a Little disappointed they Have the self stabilization on a Collective pitch Heli Not Just Because I think it will not Make you Better at Hovering. but because of this I can not, even use my Older dx6 Transmitter as it does not Have the 3 stage switch like the Newer ones Only Normal and Idle up so when set up on my Old dx6 I Only Have Stabilization mode and Normal as in No idle up/ Negative Pitch i got this Heli for 3d flight Its Not a dam Drone! lol sorry for my old school Rant Just wish they had an Option with out auto stabilization.. this was the Cheapest and at the Time the Only way I can get Back into the Hobby and I can Not afford a New Transmitter so I ended up getting the cheap one that Comes with the rtf sticks feel Nothing Like a Real Transmitter....

Any OpenTX transmitter with a multiprotocol module can bind to Spektrum receivers such as the one in this helicopter. Brands are Jumper, Radiomaster, and Taranis. The multiprotocol modules can be internal or external and all are able to transmit and bind to DSM2 or DSMX protocols which is what Spektrum uses. OpenTX has a learning curve for setting up a model configuration although once you learn it it is easy.
