All genuine followers of Christ are given anointing by the Holy Spirit and this is what helps us among other things study and understand the 'knowledge' contained in the Bible.
Dr. Olumide did not condemn tithe. He explained the reason behind it and that remain till today. Yes, in the beginning, they were farmers and herders but now we have different sources of income and so we can only pay tithe, mostly by cash. I love the way he also explained announting and how it works, very correct. Anointing enhances just as tithe; they make life more comfortable if your faith is on doing it as a principle laid down by God, that is He will provide your needs accordingly to his riches in glory. Same with giving; just as he explained, when you give, you'll get back by a means that only God will dictate. The only problem is that some Pastors make tithe, Anointing and giving look like a big deal and get their congregation confused.
I believe when you do the three, without anyone forcing you, you'll have personal experience and testimony. On the other hand, if you don't believe in any of them, no problem, since we have not been told that it is a sin. Be cleared about it, Dr. Olumide didn't condemn but gave a better explanation. May God help us.

The issue is that the Church still collect more than the 10%. They will say prophetic offering, seed offering, project offering, Sunday offering etc.
The church attaches prosperity to tithe, offering and seed sowing because they know we will not give them any money if they don’t tell us the prosperity lies.
All of these offerings are scams also. In the Bible there is no such thing as prophetic offering, seed offering etc and it is not the 'Church' that scams but various churches within the pentecostal prosperity denominations who have pimps in their pulpits

Same here. When it comes to the tithe issue, people are happy to judge and forget that they all pay tithe to God or the devil. Check your expenses at the end of the month and judge yourself. The word of God does not change. I'm a living witness. I tried both ways and I know it's good to pay your tithe. When God says he will pour his blessing upon you, he didn't say money. There is something you are enjoying today that you know can only be God. Please be careful of all these philosophers.

This is diluted truth, some of the insight are correct, why some are wrong.the bible said faith without work is death, so there is need for balancing. Not withstanding tithing brings prosperity, same way it makes rain to water the farm of the payer and cause their produce to increase, same way it causes whatever u do to prosper, when you pay faithfully. That work or business that you are doing, that you derived the tithe from, God will prosper it.

Abram tithed a 10th of everything in Genesis 14, Hebrews 7. Jacob promised to tithe a 10th of all that the God gives him in Genesis 28.
Leviticus 27 is clear that a tenth of “everything” from the land is to be given, and for those who are poor, can tithe themselves for an equivalent coin value, or those with much land, can tithe the land itself which is given a coin value. I used to think like this man and I suffered financially. Immediately I started tithing by a self bible revelation, my finances exploded. Tithing indeed brings favour, connection, good health, ideas and also money. The reason why people tithe and are not blessed is that they give corrupted money and their hearts and lifestyle is far away from God. To acknowledge God as source and to provide for the Levites who devoted virtually their whole time serving in the Temple
We are paying tithe now not because we have Levites, but we have full time Pastors and we need to take care of other things pertaining to the Church and the Gospel

I don't think Dr Olumide said anything against paying Tithe, in fact I believe he inferred that everything you own belongs to God so a mere 10% of your income is you just starting... If anything give more than 10% and give to the poor and needy not because you're looking for financial prosperity per se, but knowing the one who has made it possible for you to have what you give can give more to you via in good health, increased wisdom/knowledge, and also in favor as well. None of that is a fallacious argument, he was spot on.

My first tithe I paid in my life was actually not tithe but half of all the money ., I had, and all the money I had was 1000frs . And I told God , he said in the Bible , that we should pay tithe and test him , me I have given more than the tithe, and God didn’t fail me, till today he hasn’t, and I still say , just do any thing and start paying ur tithe , God is not a liar,

Men should stop deceiving themselves, you can not determine who make heaven and not. Should a car had accident, can one tell in particular those who will get wounded, fracture, not wounded or died? Everything belong to God to decide. To be successful have much to do with orientation, environment, and fate. If one is lucky to fall in these categories. You cannot reject Christ and be happy on earth no matter how much you have.
Tithing is one major way to ensure that the church is well funded. Most people would not give anything substantial to church. When we truly love God we wouldnt talk of tithing.
Got me at the first statement - religion is more dangerous than the devil.
When you study to be led and taught by the Holy Spirit, you will learn the heart of God in the scriptures, you will then understand His ways and His will, then, like a child, you will retain His teachings, as that of a parent and child. Thus, when you come across any issues, the Holy Spirit will bring pertinent scriptures to mind- John 14:26, which you have previously come across, and it will now have the perfect meaning for you, which will make it easier for you to keep in mind, as you share with others.
Thus will fulfill the scriptures in Psalm 119:11; Colossians 3:16; 2 Timothy 2:15; John 15:4-9; 17:7; Mark 11:23 etc.

The beginning of sin, the mystery of iniquity began in Eden, Genesis 4:8-15-24.
This sin couldn't readily be judged simply because there was no preceding law about being one's brother's keeper that was broken. (Thus, the whole system was destroyed by the flood, and the laws started with that Genesis 9:5-6, until finally judged and finished on the cross John 19:30)
And in verse 15, a precedent was laid down for the time it would take to judge sin, 70x7 or 490 years.
That generation was wiped out by the flood, but the precept remained: sin shall be avenged seventy and seven fold. (Matthew 18:21-23).
This was the standard by which Israel also judged, as they also had to spend 70 sabbath years ( or 70x7= 490 years), in exile, outside of the promised land.
When it was the 69th week year Daniel prayed to God, and fasted to remind Him of the imminent due date of the return of God's people to their promised land; but the sin of the Amorite was not yet full, Genesis 15:16, also, Israel was still in rebellion towards God, and the land cannot sustain rebellion- it was Holy!
So, the Messiah had to come and make a way for grace and justification, and righteousness of God to be imputed, so Israel can get back their monarchy, through the house of David, and back to the kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, and the Son of man -the promised Son of David, the king of Israel to order His Kingdom Isaiah 9:6; who would ascend His throne as God had promised him. Romans 1:3; Acts 2:30, and come to bring them back to God, Jeremiah 16:16a; Luke 19:10; Matthew 10:5. Instead, they rejected and killed Him.
Thus, from then onwards, the way to God was opened to whosoever would come to Him by grace through the shedding of His blood, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection.
They were given the adoption of sons and daughters into the kingdom, which hitherto, they were not permitted Ephesians 2:13; John 1:11-14, becoming heirs and joint heirs of God and the Abrahamic covenanted promises an blessing (Genesis 25:6- the representatives of his other children by Hagar and Keturah, the Kings of the East, could now access and partake of the blessing, and they showed their allegiance and faith, by worshipping Jesus Christ, as a Child!)
Jesus Christ gave His life for all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in order to keep them from the wrath of God that will be unleashed upon the Amorite, until the end. Isaiah 63:18; Daniel 8:13; Zechariah 12:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2.
And eventually, they will be rescued at the second coming of Christ Luke 21:13; Zechariah 14.
He finished the work of salvation of the soul of man John 19:30 and this continues the "acceptable year of the Lord" which began as He took the sealed book of Daniel, 12:4, from God, as the Lamb of God, who alone is Worthy, and opened the seals Revelation 5, and fulfilled the first of the three part of Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:16-21, and He SHUT it again. This will run through this dispensation of preaching of the gospel of grace, (which ended the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, which ended with the stoning of Stephen) by faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He will return to gather His saints from the world, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15; and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy, Jude 24; with victory over sin, devil, death, hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone Isaiah 66:24.
The second dispensation is nearly upon us, at this time Isaiah 63:4, which will usher in the tribulation period when the 70th and last year will be ushered in to finish all transgressions! Daniel 9:24.
( As the Messiah has become the sacrifice for sin, and was dead, buried and rose again from the dead! His shed blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat for propitiation for sins for all who would go to God by and through Him, simply by faith! Ephesians 2:8).
Then, the Lord will return the second time, complete with His body, as a new Creature resting upon the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14, to make a way of escape for the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31.
Then the battle of armageddon will ensue, and it will end up in total obliteration of this earth. Isaiah 24; Joel chapters 2 and 3, Jeremiah chapters 1-11...; 1 Peter 3 etc.
This is the fullness and end, and judgment of the sin of the Amorite! Matthew 18:21-22; Psalm 75:8; 73:3-17.
Then the new heaven and earth will be created after the conclusion of the millennium- to mark the expiration date of sin and death, like it was back in Eden. Now man will live out the 1000 year curse of death Isaiah 65, (Genesis 5).
Then history will repeat itself when everything reaches full circle- the serpent will be released once again, Revelation 20:1-6, to tempt man as he did with Adam and Eve, those who follow him will get totally judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, together with hell, death, the antichrist, false prophets and all whose portion is with them Isaiah 66:24. Revelation chapters 19-22.
God has perfected the end from the beginning. But as it is written-"My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge " Hosea 4:6, so, "With all thine getting, get understanding " Proverbs 4:7; Luke 24:45. Be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, and abide in the fold, John 10, until He returns as promised, to take up His purchased possession! John 14:26; Ephesians chapters 1-2!
Then He will set up His kingdom! Isaiah 9:6!
Be encouraged!
Well, since you are willing to obey all the laws in order to please God, please go ahead.
Don't forget to get a high priest to receive your sin and burnt and freewill and wave and grain offerings.
Remember to bring tithes of all your firstfruits to the temple.
Remember, the sacrificial animals must be without blemishes.
Watch what you eat and make sure there's no leaven present anywhere in your home during the sabbath rest.
Make sure you do no manner of work, not even to pick up stuff.
Honor your father and mother.
Make sure that you do not fail to make sure that you're sure that your works will be accepted by God through your priest, you cannot do anything in the name of Jesus Christ, because that will break the law.
Remember that it was the priests, scribes and elders that laid a trap for Jesus Christ because He called Himself the Son of David, and the Son of God, then they arrested and trumped up charges that would make sure He was crucified, not even stoned. Be ready to shout "Crucify Him"! , even as they did, and then rest on your laurels that you have successfully removed your stumbling block, because that was who Jesus Christ was to them who are the masters of the law.
But, I will leave you with some scriptures to check out, to see how you're faring in your beliefs of pleasing God by obeying the law:
1) Without faith, it is impossible to please God Hebrews 11:6. (You don't have faith, you're under the law, so it is impossible for you to please God.
2) You must obey all the law, and not leave any aside, otherwise you have broken every one of them, including the ones you don't know existed. James 2:10.
3) You're forever in bondage to keep the law until you're out of this world, no respite. Romans 7:2-3; 1 Corinthians 7:13.
But this same Paul said that you're not part of the body of Christ because you're still tied to the law, and this eventually leads to death, because the only way you can have life is IN Christ Jesus, because He is the One that sets free from death and gives life by His Holy Spirit. He had to pay the sin price demanded by the law, for the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT OF GOD, IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS!
And only they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh, and are now filled with and led by the Holy Spirit Galatians 5:24-26.
Finally, it means you have outrightly rejected the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ, as your sacrificial Lamb, for the propitiation for all your sins, thus, you must pay for your sins by yourself.
But, on the other hand, this same law has been dealt with on the cross and has been "DONE AWAY WITH ",

It has been nailed to the cross, and Jesus Christ rose again without its power over man, and removed its curse, by imputing God's righteousness on man, so that its curse would still be placed on anyone outside of the perfected work of salvation, and they must pay the wages of all their sins.
Jesus Christ didn't come to abolish the law, but He made sure He fulfilled all its demands and paid the wages by dying on the cross for all who would simply believe in Him!
So, you cannot be a believer in Christ and still be in bondage to observing the law, the scriptures said you're married to two husbands at the same time. One has to die for the other to take effect
The law died in Christ Jesus and the testament or the will of God for man changed from condemnation to justification, and imputed righteousness. Or else you're making yourself God!

None of the people you've permitted to keep you under bondage of law keeping died for your sins.

for anyone to attempt to keep any one law, is not enough. They must be familiar with both written and unwritten laws, be in bondage of keeping them, have to look for a priest to offer requisite blood sacrifices, which he himself must have to have a tabernacle to atone for his own sins as well etc.
Why do you think God changed the Priesthood? What would you give to atone for any laws you break, knowingly or unknowingly? You're saying that Isaiah 53 is not for you, and the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ doesn't work for you, therefore, you are still in your sins, no matter how many of the laws you "try to keep " Hebrews 9:13-15. You're rejecting God's own plan for the salvation of your soul, and "trying " to obey your way out of His provision that saves your very soul from death and destruction, which is the goal for all who fail to keep even a jot or tittle of the law! What a miserable life that would be! Please enjoy the life that Jesus Christ paid the price with His own life for you to live abundantly John 10:10b. He already paid for it, rest in Him!
Sounds teaching
Christians are not commanded to pay tithes. If you read Deu. 14. 23,24,25.... Hebr. 7. 1 _,18
Christians are told to give as we are blessed. See Luke 6.38,39 1Cor. 16.1,2 2Cor. 9.6,7.
There are several other stories in the bible, why is the Nigeria churches focused so much on this tithe verse. Is the church now UBA or ACCESS BANK. Tithing is what God wants you to do to the less privileged.
