Even Jesus, when people were trying to make Him stray from His mission, didn’t consent (John 6:15 and Luke 12:13). The truth is, we’re only looking at it from one side. Imagine if he followed your suggestion and led his members in a protest, and someone got shot as a result. I’m sure people would slander him in all kinds of ways. Yes, he has a lot of influence, but we should consider such things before making such suggestions.
@@ojeabuooba7941 no one is saying he should carry people there, all he needs to do is step out on his own and protest. And as for your take on Jesus's mission. Jesus wasn't born in a time of societal depression or subjugation, if not he would have stood and spoken against his government for this. Daniel, moses, Esther, Elijah, Nehemiah and many more others were born in a time of societal depression and injustice and as believers and just people they fought for justice and used their influence to pressure the government. I was discussing this specific issue with a colleague today. The more fundamental fact is that all these religious and cultural leaders are actually ideological allies of the political class. They don't need to be bribed or intimidated. The core ideology they share in common is that it's a sacrilege to challenge power, either divinely or politically or culturally constituted. And this ideology also reflects and emerges from the slave mentality of the majority. Rarely is a power-challenging individual popularly embraced and praised by the majority. The politicians need not fear anything because they preside over a people who are not only servile in spirit but also docile in the face of oppression.
I wish I could double like this post. A brief but perfect description of the relationship between the political class, the spiritual leaders, and the average citizen. Well said 👏🏿

Deola, you should have given this rich suggestion much earlier... yeah, years ago, bcos Papa Adeboye is too old now to start walking long distances in the name of protest. The first time I watched him was in 1995 at the Excel centre in London, that was 29 yrs ago...,he used to wear those white suits with white trousers..., most importantly, he was much younger then., so why didn't you introduce this idea to him that time since Nigeria had exactly the same problems? As children of God, we know that there's a time for everything, this may not be the right time for Adeboye to start engaging in protests....., it would probably be too stressful for him. But as you rightly mentioned, he is very influential at home and abroad due to his great following, so the good news is that younger preachers who are also influential can do what the older pastors ought to have done. Many thanks for this upload and blessings to you as you continue to give us great content as always.
Is it by walking on the streets to protest we call protest, there are many ways he could protest bad governance without physically coming out on the streets. The woman is very right, they are giving feeble excuses for their doing nothing.
Was Nigeria as worse as this 29 years ago, there is no age limit in protesting or correcting what is wrong. You should even applaud her for saying it out with the most decent and polite way. Bishop Desmond Tutu from South Africa of blessed memory fought against apartheid not only for South Africa, but for the whole of Africa. He protested against Abacha's tyrant rule over Nigeria and was influential towards the Paris Club canceling our debt back then in 2001, ask Obasanjo, he would tell you 2 people were very instrumental in this matter, Okonjo-Iweala and Bishop Desmond Tutu. He was not a Nigerian.
I so believe things will get way way better for Nigeria if what you push for truly happens 💯 like Esther 👍 I also appreciate your very polite approach ❤
Baba had learned his voice in the past. He spoke the truth to power. He is concentrating on his assignments now, and he has never stopped praying for the nation. Thank you.

Adeola, you are very brave for saying what you have said. I agree with you and will add that imagine if it was RCCG, MFM, and Deeeper Life all together at the same time.
Trust, a stage like that, will be giving a religious coloration and incitement. The media has always looked and spoke loudly in a different direction whenever the church gets involved. The sentiment of the Muslim Muslim office will quickly take a turn. The pastors have long decided to mind their pulpit since the media has asked them to. Let the church breathe. I wouldn't like a repeat of past trends of embarrassments that the media like to drag the church on when they join the stage.
@Anonymous-tx6ef I hear you. But the media shouldn't stop Christians. More than half of the problems people are praying for in church can be solved by decisions made in state capitals and Aso Rock. Let them try again. I beg one more time.

No! Pastor Enoch Adeboye did not lead a protest during President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime. Claims suggesting that he did are false. The confusion seems to stem from a protest he led in 2020 during President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, which was against widespread killings in Nigeria
We all recognize that hunger persists in the land due to bad governance. However, the majority are reluctant to join the protest because many of the organizers have conflicting agendas. Some groups seek a change of government without an election, others advocate for military intervention, some want to loot, some demand Nnamdi Kanu's release, while others wish for Russia to recolonize Nigeria. There are those who see the protest as a stepping stone for their 2027 election ambitions, some regions believe the presidency is their birthright and view the protest as an opportunity, and a few genuinely want to end bad governance. With such diverse hidden agendas, it is challenging for someone like me, let alone Daddy GO, to join the protest.
In case you didn't know there are always competing demands during a protest. If Dr MLK Jr., was waiting for everyone to support him he would never have started. Malcolm X, Black Panthers, Socialists groups and several others criticized MLK for his non violent approach to fighting for civil rights for black Americans. There is always mixed and conflicting messages, but the main thing is the main thing Nigeria deserves better government. That's worth protesting if you believe. Unless like so many rich and privileged people, one has too much to risk.
I appreciate your analysis, it is forthright. However, the fact remains that Daddy Adeboye openly protested against Goodluck Jonathan's govt increase of fuel to 100 and something naira, while, now, it is 860 naira. The issue is that the suffering that most Nigerians are passing through warrants a protest. Leave the people who are insincere with their insincerity, the govt of now needs to be called to order, especially with the open and blatant corruption by a few in the face much hunger that the majority is going through. Daddy Adeboye should call a spade a spade now as he did back then.
If you lead a protest, I am sure both you and daddy go will establish your vision and communicate it clearly before you get to the streets. What Adeola is saying is we have leaders who understand vision and have followers who have bought their vision a million percent. Can’t they use the same skill in keeping the government in check. Make demands and see that they lead to a reasonable conclusion.

Hello @Adeola, I understand your perspective, but I have to share my concerns and honest views on this matter. As a Christian, I've been longing for a day when religious leaders will unite to lead a protest in Nigeria, sparking a revolution that brings real change. However, I fear the politicians are aware of this potential and will exploit it for their gain. Remember how the Sultan of Sokoto and Oni of Ife visited President Tinubu before the protest? Their absence and their stand against the protest was noticeable, and I worry that if Pastor Adeboye had joined the protest, the politicians would have twisted it into a religious war, claiming he was leading Christians against the Muslim-Muslim (Tinubu and Shettima) government. Nigeria is a complex nation where politicians have mastered the art of dividing people for their selfish interests. I'm still holding onto hope that one day, we'll have a revolution that brings true independence and change. But for now, I'm cautious about how our actions will be perceived and manipulated. May God help us all.
Mummy Adeola, you are also influential, you have 704 thousands people rooting for you on TH-cam, all of us will come once we see you also frontline the protest. Mummy e ma bo nile😂😂😂😂

Adeola, you are always on point. I tried stretching my imagination on the impact we could have if these big men of God could truly be this patriotic. Maybe they have not thought of this this way but going through the book of Esther and seeing the roles played by Mordecai and Esther will instruct our religious leaders again. God bless you Adeola. Great Video Adeola. A huge difference can be made with the involvement of our mega GOs in this protest and believe me the government will listen. But it's rather unfortunate that it might never happen cus the GOs are living large and indirectly taking advantage of the failed system to thrive. I still strongly believe that any day our mega GOs and Imams want this country to start working, that would be the beginning of a new dawn for our dear nation, why because they have the influence and huge followers.
I had the opportunity to witness Nigeria's journey as a student union leader at Unilag in 1997/98. We all longed for a better Nigeria and were passionate about it. It's important to remember that spirituality and emotions should be kept separate. At this stage of his life, any decision made by Daddy GO should be guided by the Spirit rather than emotions, as it could impact the work he has done over the years. I thank God for those who are protesting for a better Nigeria and pray that God will gloriously intervene and sort our people and nation out. Let's remember that the Holy Ghost is the driving force behind the support for Daddy Adeboye( Prayer Walk). Without God's guidance, the crowd may not be as significant during a protest. Sis Adeola Martin Luther and Daddy GO don't have the same calling Ma. We must correctly identify and walk in our calling including social justice. Blessings to all!
Has his (E. Adeboye) calling changed since Jonathan Goodluck's days as president. We all saw the videos in which he stood side by side with Tinubu to protest then. He was very active then and then now that the country is in worse shape than it was during Jonathan's time he (E.Adeboye) is silent. As a Christian this shouldn't be, the partiality is obvious. Let's give our worship to God not to a mere man please!

And God was solidly behind them. I love your wisdom.
God bless you, bro.

How old was Deola 29 years ago Sir?😊
Is it by walking on the streets to protest we call protest, there are many ways he could protest bad governance without physically coming out on the streets.

Trust, a stage like that, will be giving a religious coloration and incitement. The media has always looked and spoke loudly in a different direction whenever the church gets involved. The sentiment of the Muslim Muslim office will quickly take a turn.

Waooo.... you're very brilliant and smart, well done!, Nigerians as cultivates bullying and forcing people to do their bidding, you said it is bro.
Come to think of it. You really have a very valid point there.
Those that protested against GEJ are not silent
Thank you Adeola! Your submission is very apt. Am a Christian too. God bless you 🙏 ❤
Wonderful Sermon Adeola, "For A Time Like This"...
GOD BLESS YOU FOR US...
Weldone Adeola
Keep it up Adeola
This is exactly what infuriates me about our religious leaders. Pray & Faith without works is dead. You've been praying since the days of Jonathan and things keep getting worse, when will you see it's no more about just prayer?? It makes people question were your loyalty stands but what do i know, maybe im just a confused, angry youth.
Honestly, these is the best, have seen in your show, it is a saddest truth, pls keep it up Adéọlá. I Love you for this.
Thank you so much Adeola for being realest if there be anything like that.
You know when i aaw a pastor in Jos did that, i said to myself if just if daddy Adeboye, Daddy oyedepo etc could just take this step, it would have been positive sincerely. I didn't even see the crowd he commands on prayer work like this 😴
Hello @Adeola, I understand your perspective, but I have to share my concerns and honest views on this matter.
They will change the narrative....to religious protest
God bless you
Valid point
Mummy Adeola, you are also influential, you have 704 thousands people rooting for you on TH-cam, all of us will come once we see you also frontline the protest. Mummy e ma bo nile😂😂😂😂
She's playing her own part already by bringing political issues of concern into public awareness even if it's in a comical way. She doesn't have to leave her family abroad to come and carry placard in Nigeria to join the campaign.
God bless u for dis
But she is not based in naija na and besides she is doing her part with this medium
@@dorcaspascal8862 as one of her followers in Naija here, why didn't you lead d protest as well?
@@ayodeleomolaraabidemi2290 It seems this is the type of 'moron' mentality we're protesting against it's not even your post that I commented on so why being presumptuous and not getting your fact right about my location 🤔
God speaks in mysterious ways.
God bless you for this video!
Truly, evil prevails when good people do nothing...
Preach my namesake! You’re a lady evangelist ❤you’re anointed for this and have this platform like Esther had!
He should have sponsor the protest underground self
But he did during endsars. Mummy GO even sent food and drinks to Lekki toll gate.
You call protest against bad governance emotions? That's where I stopped reading. POINTLESS
@@pastorpauladeleye exactly!
@@pastorpauladeleye to those of you responding to the pastor, are you aware that Jesus came during the Roman oppression of the Jewish Nation, that people expected Him to speak up and do something, even His Disciples thought he was going to take over the Kingdom. But guess what, that was not his calling. I'll say it again stay on your lane. If you are Esther, you were born for such a time as this, speak up! If you are Jesus, the cross is your purpose. If you are not the Holy Spirit, you cannot tell what Daddy Adeboye has been called to do. BTW I dont attend RCCG. Maybe, you have been called to "armchair activism" 🤭 be guided and continue!
You could have rather kept quiet Holy Ghost man. I know three RCCG families who have jappa to UK because of hardship in Nigeria. You people will never stop defending your god-daddy GO!
Prayers do not fix countries, men of reason do!
Adeola, my sis, I love the content and presentation. WELL DONE!
Beautiful Adeola, you are spot on.
