it is fairly new tech in 1/10 scale... Within the past few years they went from 1 cylinder 2 strokes to 2-4-V6-V8 and now V12 cylinders... and they have even made a Wankel motor as well that takes Revs like crazy! -Cad drawing, 3d printing and precision machining is becoming so easily accessible that ppl are starting to make tiny real life replicas all over... As a builder of custom RC cars, the evolution in the hobby theese days is super exiting... Hopefully the prices will come down abit in some years, because at this stage it is a bit funny you can buy a whole real used car for less than a 1/10 scale engine... -But I get it, there is alot of work and time involved in making theese things come real... and precision allways costs... :)
I remember watching small model V8 engines about 20 years ago with a price tag of 10k! Now we have V12 engines for a 1/4 of that. V12 just snaps to attention like nothing else, it's simply bloody awesome! Not knocking that V8, I'd be proud to have that rc in my collection, sounds amazing in its own right ..
As much as I love V8s! There's something about a V12 it sounds more refined, maybe because there's an overlap like how in 5 and 6 cylinder engines you'll get an overlap between the 4 stages and it'll be slightly higher pitched, a V10 and 12 are obviously two banks of 5 and 6 cylinders so twice the overlap 😊
Those are so cool Im definitely getting into this hobby!! I’m going to order one this week and post videos on it as well. Great work btw!! That v12 is amazing 😻
Im a big Niro fan. Problem with these new engines is there is a lot more moving parts, with no aftermarket support behind them. You trow a rod in one of these, and you have to purchase a new engine. Vs a regular nitro engine that can be repaired, by ordering the parts. More parts, more things that go wrong. They don’t rev as high neither. So speed is not there. They are torquey engines, and would be best in a crawler. My 2 cents, I’m staying away from them till more support is available, and the prices go down. They are really cool engines to look at, but for a quarter of the price, my little 1 cylinder Traxxas 3.3 is more than enough.

The throttle response on the v12 is so good. Would be cool to find a Jaguar XJS or older E-type to fit it in.
Yeah it is instant and crisp
I literally know nothing about this topic but I’m super impressed at the tiny growl of both engines. That’s insane

I also want to build a steam train so can't do it all
Going off sound alone.
V8 - Muscle Car/Monster Truck
V12 - On Road Speed Demon of a Super Car
Yeah, definitely mate
Tough call! They both sound amazing...but the V12 screams in just the right way. Reminds me of F1 before the hybrid era.
Yeah absolutely bro

also to bad they make them to big cool if you only want a display if they made in 1/8th scale we could use them in a lot of different cars or trucks
👍
I wonder if they made a v8 if it would rev like the v12? I absolutely love the v12 revs brother 👍👍
Absolutely brother! A V8 from them would be amazing! I think it would scream!
being a T&T fan boy never too long both sound amazing👍✌
Much appreciated bro
That mini v12 is the coolest little engine ive ever heard 😆

There is no comparison. V12 is the superior engine in every aspect .
It's very impressive that's for sure
V12 sound more natural as the V8 sounds like a nitro engine
Yeah absolutely
i would say the v 12 in this case because it is a much better quality engine if they would make a chevy v8 same quality it would be the v8 all day
Yeah it is a fantastic quality engine
Recon you should put v8 in 1/5 Sprint car speedway
That would be cool
I think you should get in touch with kpop rc, he does great 3d printed custom body works.... I see something great with that v12
Yeah seen him. Top channel
That V12 sounds like a mini Aventador
Haha yeah man
V12 ❤❤❤❤
👍
Gotta say, im liking the v12 sound more.
Yeah it's so crisp at high rpm.
In order to have amazing sound, the exhaust needs headers, just like big engines.
Yes it does!
😊 I like the V12 better
Good choice
I would still love to see you put that in a boat. I think it'd be very nice
V12 sounds better
