Good video, but you made one mistake reinstalling the screws for the axle pivots. You should always use a manual screwdriver for reinstalling self tapping screws into plastic, by placing the screw in the hole and then turning them counter clockwise until you feel a bump as the screw drops into the threads already cut into the plastic, then turn the screwdriver clockwise to tighten the screw. This way you don't cut another set of threads into the plastic weakening it. It only takes a couple of install and uninstall of self tapers into plastic, for the plastic to completely strip.
@@taznz1 i thought about that. The power tool i have is slow and doesnt tighten that hard. I did do the mistake of installing it only with the power screw driver... i could have cross threaded the screws and created a whole new problem. Thanks for the advice on the self tapping screws for the plastic cap. Feedback is always welcome 🤘

Nice. Need to do that upgrade myself.
That part is notorious for breaking, so a light aluminum upgrade is the perfect fix in my opinion 🤘
Shame Tamiya never did a Monster Beetle 2 with the King Blackfoot gearbox as that one is strong.
@@BasBoyRC im not familiar with the king Blackfoot gearbox, but I'll look into it if mine breaks.
@@mikesentertainmentshow3926 The gearbox will fit, the shocks might be a problem how to mount them.
