I've always appreciated that this is someone who performed live on keyboard and vocals *for years* either by herself or a duet, on her own initiative, before anyone knew who she was. I'm mostly a prog-rock guy by inclination and most pop music doesn't even register with me...I don't know how much of Gaga's songs are written by her or how much of what you hear are due to her own choices, but "Marry The Night" and "Gypsy" are two amazingly well-written and great-sounding songs and I expect there are more I haven't heard. I hope she makes albums for a long time.
She is one of those rare artists who sounds just as flawless in person as she does on her albums, if not better. Her voice is so powerful and soulful, it can run the gamut from softly sweet to stirringly deep. I really like her looks and demeanor also. Her features are more unique than the typical Hollywood cookie cutter, but I think that makes her all the more striking.

What are you talking about, Did they even sing a song that wasn't Lady Gagas? Like sure shes good without autotune or anything, but I feel like the magic of this show was seeing guests sing favorite songs of other artists. Ever since the first one, they have been using more and more of the guests songs, which is annoying because it then becomes pure acting. They have sang that song a thousand times, of all the people in the world they are likely to be sick of hearing that song.

Great series. This is my favorite episode. Lady Gaga is a great singer AND songwriter, and she seems to put a lot of heart into her singing. It must be amazing to be in the car with her while she is singing. As an aside, James Corden has done really well in these series. Not only is he funny, but he has done a very good job singing along.

What are you talking about, Did they even sing a song that wasn't Lady Gagas? Like sure shes good without autotune or anything, but I feel like the magic of this show was seeing guests sing favorite songs of other artists. Ever since the first one, they have been using more and more of the guests songs, which is annoying because it then becomes pure acting. They have sang that song a thousand times, of all the people in the world they are likely to be sick of hearing that song.

Great series. This is my favorite episode. Lady Gaga is a great singer AND songwriter, and she seems to put a lot of heart into her singing. It must be amazing to be in the car with her while she is singing. As an aside, James Corden has done really well in these series. Not only is he funny, but he has done a very good job singing along.
