It was beautiful to see this on November 14, 2020. Who knew how much would have happened since then. Jennifer's mother, sister, and nephew had been murdered just 2 years earlier. Jennifer was amazing singing to her idol. Not yet knowing she will sing her one more tribute the day after Whitney passes away. Whitney looked so proud of Jennifer. As if the torch was passed.

This was a true rarefied moment to sing in front of the The Voice and to see Whitney truly enjoying this heart rendering tribute to her from the most celebrated non winner (Simon Cowell's biggest mistake. She was encouraging her all through it, with every fibre of her being, wanting her to kill it and not minding if she'd sing it better than her. Such a generous human being.
