- It's the last week of The Late Late Show with James Corden and his dear friend @adele surprises him with one final Carpool Karaoke commute to work. Adele takes the wheel and asks James about his memories hosting the show, Carpool Karaoke and the significance of it ending. And the two get emotional reflecting about their friendship and the times they've been there for each other.

The Range Rover is on a process trailer .. she’s not driving 😂 look at all the LAPD motorcycle cops blocking every intersection so they never have to come to a stop , also look how high they are sitting compared to all the other vehicles on the road .. Hollywood magic for people who don’t know 😂
@@Booie603 True, I saw photos of the process. Another giveaway is how long Adele takes her eyes off the road whilst driving in dense traffic.
It actually wasn’t. She was driving. If you watch some parts they pass by glass buildings and you see the reflection of the Range Rover, wheels on the road. I think it was with certain people they did the trailer But Adele was driving that car I was so shocked

Most Carpool segments were filmed with James actually driving… there was a small handful where they were dragged along on a trailer….
I don’t think there is a more perfect person they could have selected for the final carpool. Adele is such an angel and it’s amazing to see their relationship.

@Indira Dian Me too!! What will.i do when I'm in tears and I need him to make me laugh? It's the perfect thing to do. When I was young my girlfriends and I would sing to the radio...even in the winter!! Roll the windows down and sing...pretend it was summer. And it always was a fun time. James' carpool brings me back to those happy times...and I had so few happy times when a kid and even now. But, we can always have the old ones on TH-cam I guess. ❤❤

I think Carpool Karaoke has to be one of the best ideas anyone ever came up with. To see the best of the best singers and to not just see them as mere celebrities but as real people. Having Adele as the final singer was the perfect send-off.

So I didn’t know the back story to “I drink wine”, but I remember being in the drive thru for coffee when I first heard it & tears streamed down my face, because a line in it triggered me to release something unhealed from my divorce almost 6yrs prior ✨ How magical music can be for us all 🤍

The first carpool with Adele is what caught my eye in the feed and hooked me! Who doesn't love Adele? What a great idea James!
I drink wine gets me so many goosebumps and I now I understand why. I mean, I´m not the only one feeling that way, but I repeated that song countlessly when the album came out.
I honestly think that Adele sang her best version of "I drink wine" in that car. You can feel the weight of emotions they both have in that song. Truly marvelous!

I have the fondest memory of hearing Hometown Glory for the very first time. It contains a cafe in a Northern Irish town during an overseas practicum. I was so enthralled by the song I immediately got up and asked the staff what the name of the song was. Magic.
And James Corden is the exact opposite and is the reason why his show gets cancelled. There was a time when people loved him but now he has shown is true colours and it is difficult to see him as this light hearted fun character with a great sense of humour and singing voice. Instead people see the evil narcissistic diva who have lost contact with reality and living in the clouds and treating people badly. For this reason his public persona and show do not work any longer, his public image have been poisoned and destroyed and he is therefore taken off the air!

Seeing James get so emotional and literally start to cry while Adele belted "I Drink Wine" struck a nerve. The pair are so close and have been there for each other through thick and thin. I love seeing them together.

Oh my gosh it makes me want to cry and I think I have watched this 60 times.. I think.. And every time I just want To cry right along with him. And it makes it hard to sing along but I just can't help it. I have been following her since she put out 19!!! And I tell you what the girl never lets me down I have been Through so many tough times and her music has helped me in ways I can't even talk about i'm literally sitting here about to tear up again!!!!
To finish the journey off with a Superstar wasn't a surprize to me, but to finish it off with your BEST FRIENDS was a BLESSING!
