I always do the following: One fleet with scout cruisers with just scout planes set on do not engage A second and main fleet with one layer of cheap destroyers with torpedos and anti subs, a layer of light cruisers with medium cannons for that soft attack and the main layer of a few battleships with as much hard attack as they can possibly get This seems to work pretty well for me so far, I wreck the british with barely loosing a few destroyers
It was like god had parted the clouds and shone brightly upon my mind when I finally understood navy. And its still the most difficult part of the game so tedious to research.
Navy is rather simple: 1) Have the sea zone scouted (spotting efficiency 100%, either by ships or by planes) 2) Have a lot of soft attack to eliminate the enemy screens 3) Finish the heavy ships ... Alternatively you can just mine the entire enemy coast and just keep the enemy navy in the dockyard, constantly fixing after those "accidents".
Me, one fine evening playing Germany: *accidentally completes the Graf Zeppelin* “Alright guess I have to do a Germany navy game for the first time.” And from that day forward my life forever changed
After around 2600 hours in the game the most I ever do with navy is load up a submarine with as many torpedos as possible and then multiply it as much as I can
So fun fact the best way to do navy compisition is this For every 1 carrier you should have 1 heavy ship (preferabbly battleships jn atlantic and cruisers in pacific due to speed and range) For every heavy ship you need 3 light ships, (cruisers are more expensive but tend to have higher survivability and damage, however destroyers are cheap and you can spam them) And for Subs just... just get a lot of them with snorkel It is also good to split your navy into 2, and have good scouting cruisers and destroyers so your main fleet can come in to destroy them

@NBH-xh3nq GWX OneAlex mod for me, I hear others a great too. The game is sooooo good. Almost the perfect game - almost.
@@justwowmanplays2941 the only thing that bothers me is the fullscreen mod restricts me from switching tabs
@NBH-xh3nq ahh, that's rough! Hopefully there's a fix for that someday. I know the GWX OneAlex crew is working on a massive update in the last couple years so that should be interesting and able to run on most up-to-date hardware, considering the age of the game and mods lol.
And then your whole fleet gets sunk by a bunch of naval bombers.
I didn't expect a Bokoen1 biopic on YT shorts.
Crossing the Atlantic: “He’s beginning to believe…”
I always do the following:
One fleet with scout cruisers with just scout planes set on do not engage
A second and main fleet with one layer of cheap destroyers with torpedos and anti subs, a layer of light cruisers with medium cannons for that soft attack and the main layer of a few battleships with as much hard attack as they can possibly get
This seems to work pretty well for me so far, I wreck the british with barely loosing a few destroyers
HOI 4 players becoming the greatest military tactician known to man just to win as the Netherlands in game.
spamming torpedoes and having screen penetration from spirit of navy is the most broken thing so far
It was like god had parted the clouds and shone brightly upon my mind when I finally understood navy. And its still the most difficult part of the game so tedious to research.
"Impossible"
-Thanos(the average hoi4 player)
Navy is rather simple:
1) Have the sea zone scouted (spotting efficiency 100%, either by ships or by planes)
2) Have a lot of soft attack to eliminate the enemy screens
3) Finish the heavy ships
...
Alternatively you can just mine the entire enemy coast and just keep the enemy navy in the dockyard, constantly fixing after those "accidents".
"i have become death, destroyer of the british royal navy"
"I'm the death, the destroyer of seas..."
The first HOI short I’ve gotten on my home feed. Is this a sign? Lol
I am now “Navy Guy”
Navy is the same as planes but just different icons
I literally understand air more than I do land battles
What watching 79cloak navy vids does to a mf'er
It's like knowing what the heck u doing with the ship creator in Stellaris
Endless submarines works for me lol
Naval Combat in EU4: 😁
Naval Combat in HOI4: 👁️👄👁️
Me, one fine evening playing Germany:
*accidentally completes the Graf Zeppelin*
“Alright guess I have to do a Germany navy game for the first time.”
And from that day forward my life forever changed
Naval Bomber. Destroyers w awful guns and great Torpedos in addition with the 3 battlecruisers named balls w only one Gun per ship.
It's a lot easier in Road to 56, you just build aircraft carriers and put as many soft attack you possibly can on your Battlecruisers.
When you realise.🤯
"I become death, the destroyer of world"
We becoming Valéry sablin with this one!!🗣️🔥
Guys for 20 capital ship you need 80 screens, its 1 to 4, a normal fleet size is 100. Or else it will overstack which is not good
When i was playing hoi4 for first time i couldn't even do a naval invasion 😂
After around 2600 hours in the game the most I ever do with navy is load up a submarine with as many torpedos as possible and then multiply it as much as I can
Quick Pro tip: Flooded with Destroyer with naval mine & Topedo and Submarine production,
WERE CROSSING LA MANSH WITH THIS ONE
So fun fact the best way to do navy compisition is this
For every 1 carrier you should have 1 heavy ship (preferabbly battleships jn atlantic and cruisers in pacific due to speed and range)
For every heavy ship you need 3 light ships, (cruisers are more expensive but tend to have higher survivability and damage, however destroyers are cheap and you can spam them)
And for Subs just... just get a lot of them with snorkel
It is also good to split your navy into 2, and have good scouting cruisers and destroyers so your main fleet can come in to destroy them
Play palpitines gamble mod with Hoi4. It’s Star Wars, so it forces you to focus on navy, but it has an easier interface.
I feel like there has to be one person out there who is like this…we just haven’t found them yet…
Using the guy who wanted to nuke Berlin for this is wild
