I started to watch this video since my wife is a esfp and I'm an infj. And the first feeling I got when the video just started, even before they could speak, was that the guy is the esfp and the woman infj. I just waited for a few more seconds and was happy to know I got it right!

Wow! I've been trying to type my mom and I believed her to be an ESFJ but was not completely sold... When he mentioned changing his environment and his room a lot I was like, "Yup! She's an ESFP!" She moves around her living room every month, changing textiles every season, and has a very child-like way of looking at the world. The other day she came up to me with this large blush-colored pillow and as she was rubbing it, holding it close to her body, she said, "Feel this! It feels so amazing!" LOL She also likes to shove food and smells in my face, she often has bizarre ideas, and gets excited over the most random things LOL She loves working with kids and is extremely caring. Great video!
I enjoyed seeing an ESFP interaction video. He is delightful. I often find myself giving pause at broad generalizations of certain types when those blanket descriptions seem to miss the rest of the picture (and, consequently, the interesting nuances and strengths brought to the table). I totally get your conviction behind attempting to give a more fair and REAL representation. In the context of humanity, theory that isn't married to reality runs the risk of blindness in judgement. Jordan naturally has that wisdom which desires to be informed by the real-life nuances in human interaction, so he is always out there interacting with people in a physical realm. That wisdom is a strength when trying to understand human personality.

Me infp white 60yo female. Married 3 kids 6 grands. My best for 25yrs. Black 60yo male. Single. 0 family. We get together at least 4 times a week. Except for the 4 month long stretches that we aren't seeing eye to eye. Maybe we just manufacture anger cuz its break time. This has happened 6 times in 25 years. We always reconnect like nothing happened. He fumbles with trying to apologize for his absence as if he thinks its all his fault. I always just want to brush it under the rug and get on with catching up. Then its on. Almost every day its meet for lunch. Or hang out at his place and watch our shows. We love yard sales. Fashion. Playing cards. Hes a gift giver. It brings him so much joy to hand me something he thinks is so me. I love getting them. I love watching movies and our shows together. He is more entertaining than what we are watching. Talking back to the characters. Acting surprised or passed or excited. Even at things we've seen many times. Its not fun watching TV without him. We are quite different. And we are also alot alike. Usually when we meet it starts off with him exasperatingly describing the things that the people he's been interacting with that day. Then as he relaxes we find some current events to talk about. Or projects we are working on. Talk about food. Then end up shopping and cooking. We could spend alot of time together. Eventually I have to leave because I have a fam. When I get home there's always a text from him telling me how much he appreciated my visit. I'm not as good at showing this. I think because inside I feel like it's just obvious. Isn't it? Lol. Tonight I'm sensing that my esfp is a little down. I think he's due for a vacation. So I'm going to roll him a couple joints and drop over when he gets off work. I'll put on my listening hat for him. And in return I'll be rewarded with some enthusiastic renditions of some janki ass shit he saw people do today.
Thanks to my mum and daddy, who ESFP and ESFJ by the line, that I saw how diffrent minds can help the project and how the society works. I was like a child raised by a wolf family, a very very nice wolf family. The things I've learned all my childhood was not my nature and my mother was unconfident inside. And because of that, I had the same issue. We were afraid of making mistakes. I was doin that with my way, she was doing this with her way. She was on the surface all the time, and she couldn’t see background of her behaviours, and I was run deep. I was scared to make mistakes just like her, but my couping with mistake was the opposite. I couldn’t ignore my failure inside, just like she taught me opposite. We were both week, but with the help of the opposite thinking environment, I was always uncomfortable with my family and I gained this deep perspective through world, and all I'm trying to say is, If I would had a family just like my nature, then I could be a really week boy inside, but this uncomfortable energy just pushed me, pushed me, pushed me all the time, then created my intelligence. I am proud of my family

Esfp's have Fi, which I believe is more "authentic" than the Infj's Fe, which always seems so "people-pleasing" to me. I know Infj's hold true to their values as well, but they sometimes come across as a little too polished in everyday conversation.
If you're a Fe dom you might say Fi is "selfish", if you're and Fi dom you'd say Fe is "fake". However, to a Fi dom the way they use Fi is to be their authentic selves as you said. They owe it to the world to be true to themselves. An Fe dom overwhelmingly and automatically focuses their emotions on others and how others are perceiving them. They feel like they owe it to the world to focus their emotions outwardly versus inwardly. Its easy for both to misunderstand each other because their focuses are polar opposite. Doesn't make Fi "selfish" or Fe "fake" just because the things they hold at highest value are different.
