Hi F., i think youd benefit from slightly elevated rpm (this bike with this torque just above idle is enough) and adjust speed through clutch control, ideally with 1 finger, max 2. This will give you less jerking, more control and smoother and more predictable advancement once you get the hang of it.

Thanks man! My throttle control is terrible. I am used to revving erratically and need to learn to keep the revs constant at 1500ish and work the clutch. I'm using two fingers. The problem when I used the throttle is that I take the revs too high at times and then I start smelling the dry clutch. I'll keep practising. Cheers!

Ooooh, I'd love to do the GS Trophy next time around (I was just too late this year). Did you compete in the screening rounds? How was it? I attended Thomas Bohm's intermediate course (not that it's evident from the video! LOL), but would love to do the Country Trax one too. Next year! Happy riding!

    Good video.
But, DUDE don't cross your legs when lifting. You lose almost all power and risk hurting yourself. Please use a wider stand so you don't have an accident.
    PEACE

Thanks for the tip! I must admit, but that stage I was so exhausted and hot that I forgot all the techniques and just tried to muscle it. I will practice it a bit. Cheers

Oh wow!!! I just checked that part again and I actually crossed my legs completely. I didn't even notice! Thank you so much for pointing that out!
