- If you've jut been given a BMW R1200GS Adventure as a long-term bike, you might as well try to get the most out of it. Harry goes for training with BMW's Rider Academy to see just how much he doesn't know.
Now I have watched it in it's entirety,this is lekker so much wisdom you would never learn this by yourself.
I wish they had BMW courses like this in Central Oregon.
I'm doing a trip from Australia to South Africa on this exact bike at the moment. Interesting to see this vid! Doing quite a bit of offroad stuff in Kazakhstan at the moment, it's good fun.
They teach you how to pick up an overweight freighter that is too big for anything but a well maintained dirt road...700 lbs. is a real adventure!!!

I had a mini version of this experience, it helps you sort out some street skills, too.
although a good editorial of what it is like to attend a class, I wish it was more on an educational perspective.
Must be so expensive to only have just ONE student enrolled!! LOL
also with that hairstyle they probably made him pay extra
