- Many people do not realize they have a choice for healthcare. There are more options than what may be offered to them. Direct Primary Care is an option that can give you more interaction with your doctor, less wait time, and may be more affordable. A former healthcare executive turned “doctorpreneur,” Vasanth is rebuilding the healthcare experience for his patients through the Direct Primary Care model. He is excited to share some lessons learned from his career as he looks at healthcare from the lens of a patient and physician. In his talk he will focus on the one thing he feels many of us have forgotten we have: choice. In his free time, Vasanth stays busy spending time with his wife and two daughters (soon to be three) and enjoys baking mini cupcakes inspired by South Asian flavors and spices. After hearing this talk, I completely see why Direct Primary Care can be beneficial in so many ways for patients in a highly burdened and complex Medicare system like in the US.

Thank you for the feedback. There’s a lot many of us in health care don’t know sadly... and a lot we are not taught. Which is what inspired me to do this talk.... we have choices. We just need to know what they are.
